Hi people,
I always stream my radio and it works great.
All the streams are working EXCEPT "Radio Veronica" my favorite one.
I used many roms and radio versions and with all of them my tytn crash as soon as i load it in mediaplayer.
This is the site: http://streamingpda.nl/
and this is the direct link to the stream : http://www.garnierstreamingmedia.com/asx/veronicaradio.asp
Can you guys try it, and post me the results? I really want to listen to this station
THNX!
receiving veronica
Hi
Its not a problem with your mobile.
I have had a look at the stream, and it checks for windows media player before playing.
It will only work on a pc.
The only way round this would be to use a pc at home to receive the stream and broadcast it on shoutcast, then listen on your phone using tcpmp.
This works well. I can use this method to receive a 128k stream and re-broadcast at 32k aac so i can listen in non 3g areas.
I have found a radio station online that I would like to be able to listen on my Wizard. Every time I am trying to copy the url in Windows Mobile it tells me that I am missing some decoders. Same error I get if I try to use it on Resco Radio. Can anybody please help me on trying to resolve this issue?
Thank you.
what's the link to the station?

but i found this link on radiostarusa.com

this stream is mp4a and as far as i find, not supported by resco radio.
resco radio only supports mp3 streams, and some aac streams with resco codec-pack.
i have no idea any other player like tcpmp or any else supports mp4a or not.
anyone else might answer this.

The best website for online radio is:
http://thestreamcenter.com/pda/
You choose your state, and listen to your local streaming station, at least whoever has a streaming site. Works very well, in fact I've been listening to my local station for almost 4 hours, no drop! Only problem I've found (tried on one station only) is that you can't create a playlist file through the media player. The best thing to do is, once you've found your station of choice, tap and hold on the streaming link and save it as a web favorite. Then once you open that favorite link, I use QuickMenu so it's very easy, it will go to the page and about 3 seconds later the stream will play.
Also, found a Live TV site:

GSplayer
A free open source app that can almost play anything, I'm using opera to go to classic shoutcast and then tune in, and gsplayer takes care of the rest... I had that on a Diamond , but will get a Xperia next week.

Resco Radio works well and you can input additional urls
Selectradio
Use selectradio, it has XM and Sirius radio capability and even shoutcast too! www.selectradio.com . I use it nicely on my X1i
Has anyone heard of any plans for an app for AOL Radio like the one the iPhone has?
Not AOL Radio in particular, but if you want to listen to streaming internet radio, StreamFurious can play anything on shoutcast.

Imeem Music is another alternative
aol radio
use the skyfire browser. nothing to download like an extra player) and it seems to work great. although I do have internet explorer runing at the same time as I write this, which seems to make the music jump slightly. But I'm happy. I have an HTC touch by the way.
I believe you'd be able to use the AOL radio streams in Kinoma Play as well.

Wrong operating system, folks.
Hi there,
I'm just a newcomer in this forum
I have a Tmobile Ameo:
Rom Wm6.1 WWE R6.1 MiChY
Radio 1.58.
I'm currently on 3UK Network and they have a service that allow you to watch Sky mobile TV via 3G signal.
First I have managed to successful sign in and load the Planet3 and the Sky mobile TV home screen on IE6( can not do that on opera or skyfire, don't know why?). However, after i click the link of the channel and the browser take me to the screen told me that the video will be played soon there is nothing happen.
Then i found out( by reading in this forum) that IE6 mobile dont support stream video. So i use HTC Media Streaming and use the reg key provinded to make it work with IE6. But there still no sign of the video. I have tried every config that i can think of in HTC media Streaming and i have set it to connect via 3 internet as well. But the program still saying that it fail to connect to the network after about 10 secs trying to connect.
Does any one know how and could help me to make HTC Media Streaming stream video from 3uk network?
Many thank ( soory for my bad English)
