Hi, is anyone using the sharp version of opera 8.5 having these issues too? I installed this hacked version onto the sdio card and every time I run it on my Jasjar it would not run after sleep mode. I tried to stop it from running with mem manager but it would stop and the only way I can run opera again is via a soft reset!
Another issue is where added favorite url's tend to disappear.

I'm using Opera. I haven't had the disappearing bookmarks (favorites). It does seem to me I had the problem with it not starting up once, but it seems to have gone away and is acting OK again. I just tried it now, and it comes back after sleep with no problem. And I'm sorry, but I don't know why it resolved when it did seem to be acting up before. Try resetting again maybe :?
Hi, I think a lot of people have this problem - you pick up the phone than you have to wait about 2 seconds before you can start to talk. Any solution?
just upgrade to another faster rom
Didn´t help. I tried a couple of them over the month, but the problem is the same. Now I am using the newest from Helmi.
Did you try the 2.01.01PDA rom from pdaviet.net ? I think it's very fast and no phone delay problem
I have tried many diffrent ROMs but still facing this problem maybe its a harware issue rather than the software one.
I have this too. Thought it was default behavior. It's better when I don't flip the screen around. The rotating seems to take a while.

my 1st problem, the connection to the internet by wifi is always interupted every minutes and I need to reset the wifi connection. It's weird because I've got a strenght signal. It's not comming from my PC because I don't have this problem on my Eten M700.
My 2nd problem, sometimes when I get access to the microdrive, the device just gets stuck and I have to reset.
Third problem, pictures taken with the device have a green or purple tint on dark parts of the shot. Just take a look at the folowing picture.

Edit: Yesterday I put the great PK3.0 ROM in my device, but it didn't solve any of the problemes. Though I still enjoy the new rom and really admire the work behind it !
I solved the wifi problem. In Settings->Wireless LAN->Power Mode, I checked the "auto turn off WLAN if not connected" and put it to the maximum value wich is "5" (may be changed in the registry perhalps). Also put the PowerSaveMode to Best Performance (though changing only this parameter didn't help before).
For the microdrive access probleme, I figured out I have to wait at least 30 seconds before accessing the system again. Do some people already faced this issue ?
I could't figure out anything for the pictures problem. Also I know we can't rely on a new version of coolcamera, they stated yesterday on their forum they would not support Athena because of the Imageon chip.

My MD seems to hang sometimes too I reformat it yesterday, so I'll try to wait 30sec next time... I'd really like an upgrade with a flash disk !

I have done many searches on this topic all over the Blackstone forum and have not found any solution to my problem. I have found a few people that have an error about the camera not initializing or something but that is not my problem.
Soon after I upgraded to WM 6.5 I noticed that my camera would sometimes quit and I would have to soft reset the device to get it working again. This happened more and more often. It got to the point where the camera would not even try to start.
I have tried several different roms and nothing is helping. Since updating to different roms the camera button in the camera tab in TF3D doesn't even show up. All I get is the album. It acts like the camera isn't even there. It does show up in the program menu. If I activate the camera under the programs menu I get nothing or just get taken back to the home page and nothing happens. Depends on the rom.
I found a few threads where people seem to have the same problem I do but usually after three or four posts and no results they just seem to end.
I have also tried installing some of the other camera cab programs. Topaz, Rhodium, Blackstone etc...
Any help would be appreciated.
One last thing. I also switched back to WM 6.1 and still nothing. The only thing I have yet to try is either redo the HSPL or go back to the original stock SPL

After three rom updates and many, many, many searches, I found the solution. Using the advanced config tool cab and changing one of the camera settings Encode photos in portrait mode to no the camera has come back to life. I did the soft reset and hit the camera button and nothing happened but a little screen flash and the window's working icon in the middle started then stopped. That has not happened in a while. I hit the button again and it delayed and started and then quit. I tried it one more time and it came on and was able to take a picture. Reminds me of trying to start a cold engine. Prime it then try to turn it over, prime it a little more then maybe some coughing and finally on the third prime. Presto it starts. Very happy again.

I think it is hardware probelm. Initially it works with some software tinkering (actual steps vary with different devices, infact may be be coincidental / immaterial in help) and becomes harder and harder as time passes and ulimately fails even on stock ROM/SPL.

since I would like to use my Samsung S4 for screen mirroring via AppRadio Unchained on my 2DIN headunit in my car, I try to get the MHL connection to work with root access. Unfortunately, my phone does not get any MHl/HDMI connection. Is it possible to use an MHL connection with this ROM? I've read that custom ROMs do not support screen mirroring.
Do I also have to use a different kernel?

actually there are some important bugs wich i discovered :
- the airplane mode in the notifications panel rarely works ( this causes for the phone not to turn on mobile signal anymore even if we push the airplane mode again ( the only way to solve this is rebooting )
- when you turn off the mobile data the logo in the status bar still stays like mobile data is on and if course mobile data is not working ( the only way to solve this is rebooting )
i really love this rom but i cannot reboot my phone so many times a day because i am in the habbit of turning off mobile data when i arrive to places with good wifi and also when i charge my phone i always put it in airplane mode
is there any way to solve these issues ?

Yes mate, it's a full stock version of the S5, with Ultra power saving mode, my magazin, toolbox and so on

I have just rooted my S4, flashed the twrp through Odin and went on installing the Samy Deluxe Rom. Everything went fine until i rebooted the device.
Now it says on the top corner: " kernel is not seandroid enforcing " -- i read this is not a problem, and it tells me that the device is using a custom kernel.
The problem is that sometimes it starts the boot animation and fails it or other times it just gives a black screen and fails.. it vibrates 2 times and resets and i cant use the rom.
Now that i cant acces the phones folders, i dont have any other rom to install and the phone is kinda broken. What can i do?
Samy Deluxe S5 issues
Hello, I don't post often, so I directed me to post here... but I just wanted to voice a couple of minor issues with the ROM. Other than these slight issues, it is a fantasic ROM and one of the most stable I have installed in a long time.
The issues are as follows:
-Default apps don't seem to be stored, it will ask each time which app to use, even if you choose "always use this app"
-The phone hangs in "call mode" when trying to make a call when there is 16% battery or less. The call will not connect, it will just get stuck on the dialling screen.
That's pretty much all I can think of!
Like this ROM, would like to see an update on it

Problem with samy deluxe rom
The only issue im finding so far with this rom is unlike the s5, a long press on the menu key opens the task switcher, same as the short key press
on s5 a long key press opens the options menu like before
there is also a xposed module caled MenuBeGone which is supposed to enable the same process as s5 still didnt fix the issue

I'm trying to get a stock S5 look (with all the S5 features) on my S4. I like this ROM but I'm trying to make the 'power button menu' or the 'reboot menu' to look stock.
Can someone help me with making the 'power button menu' look stock (or minimal)?
By stock, I mean without extra features like "Mobile Data Mode, Take Screenshot, Flashlight, etc"
(By replacing/editing resource files/apk/framework/etc, I'm not sure how to do it?)

yeah this rom works perfect but the only issue was the S5 camera, can't use the filters & doesn't capture that's why I switched it back to S4 camera.
Any solutions for this?

For who have problem with youtube after update to latest version and screen goes to black and white, try changing LCD density from build.prob editor.. it works for me. I set it to 475.

Signal on low battery disappears
I have this problem too. Anyone any solutions? Its really making the rom useless under 25% battery. PLEASE reply and give me any possible solutions. Already tried reinstall and did full wipes and stuff. So thats not the problem. Thanks in advance
