Disassembly Htc Athena / Dopod U1000 ?

Disassembly HTC Athena.
Hi..
I still want but no sucess , a disassembly guide or video that show step by step to disassembly the HTC Athena / Dopod U1000.
If something have this or know about ?

There isn't one.. If you want one that bad take your Athena apart and make one.. Then you could give/sell it to others..

Sell? You're in the wrong forum with that mentality. Most if not all members here contribute their efforts however large or small for the good of the community.

I got as far as taking the bottom plastic piece off that covers the SIM, battery, etc. You can also remove the mag plates if you want from this area. But could not get the inside assembly out. I think the black plastic piece on the top camera side is cliped onto the inside structure to hold it in and needs to be removed then the assembly will slide out the bottom, but I did not want to damage that area since it so shiny and pretty (looking at myself).

[Q] G2 teardown... LCD replacement

Any chance anyone knows of a youtube video or teardown guide for the G2 yet? My LCD screen cracked this last weekend, and I should have my replacement screen tomorrow. I have already popped off the back cover, but now it is time to undo the hinges and circuits, and was hoping someone could show me the light!
I replaced the digitizer screen on my G1, so I have successfully done this kinda thing before, but had a great video and directions. The G1 service manual also had teardown instructions, where as I cant seem to find the same thing for the G2.

HTC HD2 Camera repair?

So I bought this camera lens cover for my HTC HD2 as the glass was broken. It was $5 from Ebay. Now I am wondering, how in gods name do I replace it?

Replacing HD2s camera is not that hard. You need to open up the phone to the point where you can see the motherboard and rigid-flex. Then use something to lift the metal casing outside of the camera off and pull the camera out.
Put new camera in and put the metal casing back and you are good to go.

Search Leo ds. from youtube and follow it to about 1.28. Then you are at the point where you can remove the camera.
Can't post links.
Didn't watch the whole video but it may even show how to remove the camera.

Cracked screen and no touch response

Hello xda
Today my Nexus 4 fell into ground and now I have a cracked screen and the touch is damage, lcd turns on but I can unlock or power off phone.
My question is:
If I install this kit http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-LG-E960...e_Replacement_Parts_Tools&hash=item27cf6a2617 the problem will be fixed? or do I need another thing to be installed?
Also, any good kit of tools to open and repair nexus 4?

T5 screwdriver and other standard screwdrivers would suffice to fully disassemble your phone.
If you don't have T5, then buy a kit, it must be there.

What's a good source to buy the screen with housing? Etradesupply is out of stock and I hear mixed reviews about the ebay screens.

Yes ... And no. Depends on if you know how to take them apart.

Thanks. I watch the teardown guide and find it is really difficult. It is easy to scratch the middle part.

I would take it apart, but that's me.
