Fingerfriendly Mediaplayer

Dear Professionals,
I was wondering seeing all the great "fingerfriendly" contact managers if it would be also possible for media players.
This would be really need to scroll through albums etc...
Although I think someone could really squeeze money out of such an app.
So is it impossible or why nobody is trying to do this?
Mortplayer
Did you allready have a look on MortPlayer :
http://www.sto-helit.de/index.php?module=download&entry=mp_program&action=list
this is the player I use when I drive with my car, has big button etc.
regards,
Daniel

What happened to the Playnow Panel?

What happened to the Playnow Panel? or playnow being supported by the x1? When you register for playnow on a pc you can select most sonyericsson phones but not the x1/sonyericsson smartphones. What gives?
I'd have to guess that the media format(s) used on PlayNow, are not all compatible with the Windows Mobile software.
Certainly, many of the games, and themes will not work well/at all.
It can be accessed from your web browser, though. you should be ok with the music formats.
It has often been rumoured that the x! came out too soon, and was unfinished/polished. I would expect an update firmware sometime soon, with some new stuff as well as bugfixes/improvements.
Maybe a playNow panel might be in there?

User defined Ablums in the Media Panel

Just ot my Xperia before NY's eve and I love it! But I have a question - does anyone know a way to make predefined albums in the Media Panel instead of all my pictures appearing in one giant gallery? It just gather every single photo from the phone and memory card and displays them.. How do I make my own folders/galleries/etc..?
And maybe something simillar for the video seciotn of the Media Panel?
Cheers Xperiancers )
Heh I should have searched a bit more efore posting...... So no uck with this, no folders for the media panel
The thing that I wanted this for was to be able to play the cool "zooming-out-and-moving" slideshow that the media panel has with selected images rather than all of them, or just camera pics...
No way of having this?
Cheers
Anyone?

Anyone with the same issue?

How is the new media player?

Yeah, how is it? It doesn't work with My Phone + the R2A NAM rom
Also, is firmware the version of a rom?
what player?
I believe you need to have the ActiveX Deployment and R3A Panel Manager to get it to work.
Both can be downloaded here (but beware, the R3A panel will screw up your X1, and when uninstalled, takes out the panel manager entirely.
As for the media panel, I like it. It's more or less the same, visually. It includes a new radio function, so you can have all your music in the same place. It also plays music files that the old media panel would not play for me. So in that respect I'm pleased with it. Though the song information and album art are still hit or miss. I think the contacts part also shows sim contacts, where before, it only showed ones from outlook.
Personally, I liked the new media panel a lot, but I do not think it's worth the risk of the new R3A panel. It's been nothing but trouble for me and others, and I'm considering a hard reset because of it.
I dont understand ... you talking about the Media Xperience Panel that you can download seperate or some new Media Player program

Music Player Widget?

Been using Pocket Tunes, and after reading about Mobile Shell perhaps being lighter on battery I'm giving it a go, just wondering if there is a widget for the Today screen at all that would allow me to skip tracks, etc from the Today screen rather than having to keep the program up?
Is there any music player thats not Pocket Tunes that would do this?
Regards,
Chris
