hey guys i have searched but not found anything about this.
when i switch my touch hd on and it asks for my pin i enter it and then nothing happens it sort of freezes and just says waiting.. only emergency calls can be made without a pin.
its happened to me loads and i have to do a hard reset for it to work again after it.
please help me
Mine tends to stick on the PIN screen but 99% of time it will work if I don't start to input the PIN until waiting for a few seconds (the top bar is at first green like the WM loading screen, then goes black as TF3D starts to load behind I guess).. fustrating!
This has happened to me once, since then I always wait 3-5 seconds before entering the pin.

I have an elf, in last days i faced a problem, sometimes the phone hangs and the screen go blank, when i press on/off button nothing happens, when i reset the smart mobility will come but again the screen goes blank.
i should wait for some minutes then restart the phone, i noticed that the battery get hot sometimes.
What should i do ?

I have two little issues I can't find soultion to..
1. My device boots, htc logo appears and then keypad shows up to enter the SIM PIN...but it closes before I input so I have to manually turn off the airplane mode and then turn cellular on...
Is there a way to fix this?
2. The topright corner cross (or sometimes even the OK) should be white (if clickable) but sometimes it is grey..is this normal or I have something bad going on...it works, it is just annoying that sometimes it is gray sometimes white...
If someone knows how to fix these two please let me know...thank you very much...

Concerning the pin code screen that disappear, instead of put your phone on plane mode, you can just click the call button : it will display the pin code screen again.

and regarding the issues...luckilly I dont have many...
1. This seems to be TF3D - when the phone re-starts from reset it wants the SIM code. But, TF3D starts as well and then takes over the screen. Any use of the phone now will give the SIM code screen. So, the other advice is good: hit the call button. I normally just wait for TF3D to do it's start-up and I normally get automatically the SIM code input screen.
2. I use http://soft.photoracer.net/docs/wktask_en.html as a replacement for the OK button. But before I never had the grey OK button. Try exploring the OK button options in start - system - task manager - button

If you don't need the security provided, why not turn off the SIM pin entry?
My x10i hanged when making a call, had to remove the battery.
Now the problem is the damned phone wont startup. I get the vibration from pressing the startbutton and the screen turns on (if tilted you can see the "backlight") but then nothing absolutely nothing happens, dont react on any keypresses after the "startup".
Tried removing battery for extended period but no change phone just wont go any further then
1 vibrating on startpress
2 turning on backlight on screen
any tips help would be apretiated.
after 10 consecutive batteryout and restart the phone magicly started again but seems like serius software errors so will have to reroot
Today I started having a weird issue with my screen. When I open up some apps, the screen stops responding after 10 seconds or so for a few seconds, then works for a few seconds, then stops again, an endless loop. It starts working again for a longer while when I lock and unlock the phone
I think it starts in the middle of the screen, coz if I scroll down in an app, it staggers when my finger is in the middle of the screen.

I factory reset the phone and installed a different kernel but the problem persists.
I also noticed that the same thing happens in recovery, which worries me.
Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
Do you have touch control?
If yes, it's a known issue.
It can also be the case of defective unit.
Hey guys,
I just Whatsapped with my phone and locked it. Few minutes later I opened it again and the screen was completely unresponsive [hardware buttons are working perfectly]. I reset the phone few times but no luck. Then I went into recovery and hard reset the phone, the phone is reset and the setup is appearing but the screen is not responding to any touch[again hardware buttons are working perfectly]. I did not drop the phone at all, any suggestions on what might be wrong? I cant seem to fix it at all
EDIT: One more thing that I missed was that the moment I turn the phone on, It starts getting hot on the back although its not responding and there is a grey triangle with a grey exclamation mark inside it on the notification bar on the top left
