Hi All,
This may sound like a newbie question, but my friend messed around with my phone and now I am unable to get to type in numbers from the phone screen.
Once I click on phone nothing happens. I only have a choice of going to contacts.
Any help is most appreciated.

Hi all, bit of a lurker, but the posts on here have helped me loads over the last 2 weeks of ownership of a XDA 2i, but i cant find anything to solve this prob i have, so im calling on someones help here!
Ive removed all the 02 stuff from the unit, but i have lost the power level indicator from the front splash screen, which is a little irritating to me! i like that little thing
i can get it going through the start, settings menu, so how would i go about getting it back on the front splash? ive tried everything i can think of, im prob just missing something really little and stupid!

Can someone please help ... appologies if posted in the wrong place but I thought this would be the best for this problem.
My phone (imate) started acting strangely: no matter what sim card I put in it, it will not complete outgoing calls (they go immediately to call ended) nor accept incoming calls. Calls to emergency numbers work though.
I have reloaded/upgraded the firmware ROM directly from i-mate's website but it didnt help.
I was woundering if maybe a virus could have caused this or more probably a cid lock or blacklist of my imei for some unexplainable reason ...
Any ideas? Im at a dead end ...
I have looked on this forum for similar posts but found nothing so any help is greatly appreciated!

Did you install some Sw just b4 your problem started?
Hi all,
Just wondering if someone can help me out or point me in the right direction. Ive serached and got overwhelmed by the number of hits without solution.
Ive just purchased the HD and installed S2U2 and the rest (exactly like i used to have on my Kaiser (TyTynII). Ive noticed that the first phone call i recieve after a soft reset, cant be answered. There is no slider to answer...just to unlock...and when i unlock..even though the phone still rings, there is no answer button....just talk button as if i havent recieved a call yet.......very weird....
Can anyone tell me whats wrong or point me to a thread?

I have HTC magic, and after I restarted it, it's screen does not work at all. I just hear the welcoming music without see anything. the screen does not appear anything. I have tried factory restore, but that did not work out. Please help me. By the way, I am a newbie with andriod.

Pull the battery and restart the phone. Honestly, without a display there isn't much you can do. Is the phone still under warranty or do you have extended coverage through your carrier? If so, I'd start looking into just getting a replacement under one of those.

My mother's tablet, started to give problems out of nowhere. As I was not able to solve it, I screwed up! I put the factory values, to keep everything clean, but the problem is that she does not remember either the mail or the google pass, since she is from the old guard! To further assist, USB Debugging and OEM unlocking are not connected. In other words, I have hands and feet tied! I already burned all my lashes, searching the net, to get around the situation and I can't! Can / can you help please?
If you need any data from the tablet, just say so.
