Hey guys,
i installed the Slideshow Panel from the Xperia website. I don't like it and I want to uninstall it, but i can't find it in my program list, where i normally uninstall programs. How can I uninstall it?
Check you don't have the panel active in panel manager (if its there, choose another panel to replace it or select no panel).
Delete the Slideshow folder from mydevice/programs/panels
Just deleting the file in programms?
Does it work this way? I don't think so, i think the panel will be still installed, but it won't work anymore.
Uninstalling SonyEricsson SlideShow Panel
Nope, deleting the files won't completely remove the panel. You gotta remove the registry entry as well.
I was facing the same issue and then I found this thread. Unfortunately no answer was provided. So I decided to find out the solution myself.
Apparently the SlideShow Panel developers made the panel not able to be uninstalled on purpose, for some unknown reasons.
To make things easier, I have edited the installation CAB and made it uninstallable. Simply download the CAB and install the SlideShow Panel on top of the existing one. After which you'll find the SlideShow Panel in the Remove Programs list.
Hope that helps.

I was just wondering if there was a was to access the xperia's media panel without going through the panel option? I currently have spb plus, so it would be great if I could add that on as a shortcut.
Thanks
I would suggest that you go here

and install the Pubba panel installer. In the mans own words:-
"Pubba Panel Launcher
A panel dll-loader for Xperia Radio and Media Experience.
After installing the cab you can start both Xperia Radio and Media Experience Panel direct from Start/Programs as normal applications.
// Pubba"
Then , maybe, use the shortcut links to put them into programs in SPB, or access them from start menu.
That worked - thanks again for your help
Has anyone managed to tweak some coding to create an application that allows the Facebook panel to be loaded from the Programs menu opposed to using the panels....(Like Pubba's Panel Installer for MXE and Radio)
If Pubba can port to panels as applications,
And if TF3D can be run as a panel rather than a 'Today' option....
Surely it must be possible? Or does the fact it use internet and such make it a bit complicated?
Anyone?
I would try and edit the Pubba launcher panels, but I have absolutely no coding experience...
that would be nice
It would, I like the panels, the problem is you can't really multitask with them, the idea that you can change your today screen is awesome but I'd rather have Facebook as an application that can be launched rather than change my entire screen.
As I said earlier, if pubba can launch the media panels, is it possible to edit his code to launch the Facebook panel instead? I have no idea how to code or even which program was used to code this...
Surely, it can't be such a big job?
Come on, can I atleast get a decent reply?

I did some searching on this and was unable to find an answer. I installed Probex's TF7X theme yesterday on my diamond. While very nice looking, I just decided I did not want it an am looking to completely remove it.
I switched back to my stock HTC theme and went to "Remove Programs" to delete all of the associated files. Of the 3 main programs, 2 are still left: "Probex White-TF7X" and "Probex X-DesignTF7X-S2A-White". When I attempt to remove these programs it gives me the message that not all files are removed. While I have my original theme back, on startup the TF7X splash screen is still present as well as all the animations and buttons when receiving/making a call.
How do I completely remove this theme? Thanks!
Well I tried out SKTools and that seemed to work. Problem seems to be solved.
When installing this cab, I've noticed it places shortcuts in the Start honeycomb for the HTC apps (Twitter, People, Calendar, Music and Footprints). None of these shortcuts have icons assigned to them, so they look naff.
PS. I didn't notice the additional shortcuts before I installed the latest ROM.

Thanks, I'll give it a go later.
Is there a way to have more than 20 icons, im greedy
Not sure if this is the same issue: Jamrecords works well on my phone; but after adding programs I can't delete them. Is that the same problem?
Hi,
while trying to rearrange my program screen (via creating new sub-folders and cut and paste the links to these new folders)
on the HTC HD2 I "lost" the icon for the HTC_Calender program
I now only have a white/blue general folder like icon now.
The link is working though, HTC Calender starts.
Anybody knows, how I can rearange the correct icon for the link ?
The icon itself seems to be apparent in the /windows folder
as HTC_calendar.?
Thx for help
gersi
Try a soft reset, if you haven't done one yet.
Install the program JWMD Icon Changer and find the calender icon and select it to load to default icon.
