Phone not functioning - Touch HD General

I have just woken up this morning to find the following message come up on my phone.
This concludes the beta test of this software release.
Thank you very much for your time and effort in helping make this a great product for our customers
To obtain the newer release or further information, please re-visit the website that you used to obtain the current beta release
It doesn't say what piece of software it is for. I don't think there is any beta software i've put on it. All of the software I have installed has been from here.
And nothing responds at all. none of the buttons, I just can't get it to move away from this message. I have switched the phone on and off a few times but this doesn't help. Anyone come across this before.

you have Dutty's 1.8 installed which expired March 1, install his new version 1.9b from ROMs section, or 2.0 from his website. Or another ROM, but have to install a new one as that's the only way to fix it.

TELUS HTC P4000 (Canadian TITAN Counterpart)

Good morning Everyone,
I was looking into information on updating my Cell phone ROM as after some reading and searching I found out that this phone is GPS capable (Why they would sell it with the functionality disabled is beyond me.) On the Official HTC website I did find a new update that was released 08/06/2008 at the following link. CLICKY! . I am wounder if anyone else is having a problem downloading this file and installing it? I receive an error saying the file is corrupt and I should download the file again. I have tried downloading the file from two separate computers, tried all three mirror sites (US, Europe, Asia) and last but not least tried using three different web browsers. Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari for Windows.
I am curious if anyone knows of another mirror site for this newly released update that is working? Or of another way I can update to the same version. I am unfamiliar with the ROMs that are on this website (I could figure it out but am uneasy about installing something unofficial.) Any help would be greatly appreciated.
PS: I also noticed that the file name "-HTC P4000 (Telus)-Telus_HTC_P4000_WM6_07252007.exe" Has an old date on it? I am hoping they just rebuilt a previous update, or they have not actually posted the new update and still have an old one which happens to not work. Just an observation I noticed.
PSS: I have sent in a technical help request through the online process of HTC asking for a link to a working .exe but I tend to find that out of the norm requests such as this do not turn out very well with corporations whose support team are really only knowledgeable in standard help desk things IE: I'm too stupid to turn on my phone can you help me?
Did you follow the instructions here?

I did a while back and it worked. If not, just switch to DCD's, it's awesome. Telus's 6.1 ROM doesn't enable your GPS.
Ya that is currently the ROM I am running, Maybe I am just mixed up. I looked at the HTC website for the TELUS rom and noticed the date for release was 08/06/2008 so I was under the assumption they had released an updated ROM that was a newer version then 2.13.661.2 which I am already running. One that would also patch the GPS (just a guess). However, I guess I will look into the DCD roms and see if I can fumble through the guides to get it loaded. Thanks anyways.
telus p4000 rom
I have a P4000 running on DCD 3.2.2 and Radio 3.42.2 gps enabled internet sharing enabled and many other stuff... this is just roocking the place.. Just forgot the official Rom and go for dcd you just have to follow all instructions be aware and youll anjoye all youre gona do with your phone
HTC P4000 rocks again!
Being half way through custom install (with all nightmares and mistakes ) I found this official update too. Confirm too: everything works as expected.
Took a while for GPS to pick up in Richmond Hill, Ontario, but the it worked like a charm!

2nd that. Upgraded from the old v2 and now to this one GPS and everything worked great with Google Maps.. I didn't bother stopping that customization thing like I've read in other post. Loaded that HTC home Plugin v2.1 on it and its fine.

Need some help...

So I have been running Windows Mobile 6.5, and today I get a message saying quote "This concludes the beta test of this software release. Thank you very much for your time and effort in helping to make this a great product for our customers. To obtain a further release or further information, please revisit the web site that you used to obtain your beta release."
Nothing on the phone will work. What do I do? Activesync won't recognize the phone on my computer now, so I can't just flash a new rom.
Thanks for your help.
I am using an HTC Touch AKA Sprint Vogue.

Beta question

Hey im new around the forums, and i just tried out a wm6.5 ROM, I don't remember who it was from tho, but i woke up today (7/1/09) and there was a message
'this concludes the beta test of the software release. thank you very much for your time and effort in helping make this a great product for our customers.
to obtain a newer release or further information, please revisit the website that you used to obtain your current beta release.'
now i wasn't aware that this was a beta, but now im looking for another ROM to replace it, but since that message is up my phone is locked and is in airplane mode and i cant get out of it so my phone wont sync with my computer to flash a new ROM on it. any help on how to do this is greatly appreciated. thank you.
Start the Bootloader then you can flash a new one with micro sd method or via usb.

[Info] Windows Phone Blog - Where’s Mango? An update on timing

Hello all,
I found this today, for your information:
Where’s Mango? An update on timing
‎Gestern, ‎21. ‎September ‎2011, ‏‎19:04:36 | Eric Hautala
Hi everybody. Given all the recent speculation around the timing of our Mango update, I wanted to bring you up to speed on what to expect next.
For months, we and dozens of our partner companies have been laying the groundwork for the Windows Phone 7.5 update—and making solid progress. As a result, we now expect to start rolling it out in the next week or two. At that time, we’ll also refresh the Where’s My Phone Update? table to reflect the worldwide rollout status.
This also seems like a good time to caution against installing unofficial or leaked copies of Windows Phone software.
During the official Windows Phone 7.5 update process, every Windows Phone will also receive software from the handset manufacturer. This matched and paired firmware has been painstakingly tuned so your phone—and apps—work with all the new features of Windows Phone 7.5. Since your phone requires the proper firmware to function as designed, my advice is simple: steer clear of bootleg updates and homebrew tools.
By the way, in case you missed it, we recently released new versions of both the Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac and the Zune software for PCs, which you’ll need to update your phone. If you haven’t already, I encourage you to install it. I think you’ll like the update-related improvements, which speed up the overall update process and give you more control over backups. A small favor: When you update to Zune 4.8, you’ll be asked to participate in improving the update process. Please consider doing so.
I know you’re eager to get your hands on the next release of Windows Phone—and everyone involved with Windows Phone is equally excited and eager to deliver it to you. Please hang on—we’re almost there.

I've tried but zune said it was error.....
I use "Back to the Future" Rom.
So this update doesn't seem to work. I don't even know why we'd need it since we have Mango. Or is there a difference between Official Mango and RTM Mango?
Update name : Mango ISV beta Bundle: Cleanup
I got the same problem, error code 800B010A
checkout the "Back to future" thread seems others got it resolved. Wondering whats different from that of the "Back to future" rom am using.

Need help restoring off of the Mango Beta

Kinda lost, still don't fully understand WP7. I bought the phone a few weeks ago with a Mango Beta installed on it. Someone brought it to my attention that when the legit Mango comes out that I won't be able to update to it. How can I get my phone to where I can update it when the official Mango release comes out? I have searched this but I'm not sure if reading on a different phone forum makes a difference. And people answer this question in different ways so it's a little confusing. Thanks guys!
First thing to do is check which version of the software you have on your phone, settings - about - more info.
If you have an OS version number greater than 7.0.7392 but less than 7720 you have a beta build of the OS and you wont be able to directly update the OS to Mango. This is because when the beta version of the OS was loaded it took a backup of your phone for you to return to when the official update was released. The backup is keyed to you device ID and means that a backup from someone else's phone wont work on yours.
However there are methods that will allow you to update to the RTM version of the OS at this link HERE or HERE but be warned that the update that is coming out in the next couple of weeks will have the extra drivers and tweaks that are specific to the DVP from Dell.
If you don't feel confident with that, you could try getting the person you bought it from to restore it back to the old version so that you can receive your update, or phoning dells support (Ouch!)
Looks like there may be an official way to install the final Mango without rolling back to NoDo first:

Bummer... wish I had known about this "Friends n Family" update last week before I restored Nodo. (Stupid rumors!!!) It's like a totally different phone. Here's hoping the update is coming soon.
That's awesome! That looked like such a pain that I was probably going to stay on the beta lol.
Awesome, I'll make a thread with precise steps so people may see it and finally get our DVP's fixed and updated!
