Favourites on Internet Tab - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV Themes and Apps

Hi,
Does anyone know where the favourites on TF3D's Internet tab are stored - I would like to be able to synchronize these when I connect my diamond via activesynch but not sure what folder to include.
Thanks

Hi,
As it's opera's favorites, it's stored in \opera folder\opera6.adr (on my device it's \windows\opera9\opera6.adr but folder can be different)

thank you - appreciated a lot

How to sync files from office to home with Jam?

Hi all,
I have a notepad, a desktop pc and the Jam ppc.
I'd like to sync and use the Jam's to move or copy and/or keep up to date some files.
FOr example: I download some files from the office (desktop pc)... I'd like to use inthe best way my Jam to store the files and then put them on my laptop (at home). (and vice versa!)
Other case is: I have some files at home and I'd like to work on that file on both the pcs (office-home) and keep them up to date using Jam to move/copy ecc... the info.
Any idea? Can The XP's briefcase help me?
I use a program called MobSync to do that:
http://www.pocketpcfreewares.com/en/index.php?soft=985
Extract from developer:
MobSync is a software allowing any file folder synchronization from the Pocket PC onto the desktop--synchronization which cannot be done with ActiveSync.
So, with this software you can synchronize any file folder on your Pocket PC (not necessarily \My Documents) with any file folder on your desktop (not necessarily \Pocket_PC My Documents either).
You install the program on your desktop and laptop. You can select which folders you want to sync. The files will be sync'd to the SD card of your PDA. When you then sync with other PC (desktop or laptop), those files can be sync'd anywhere on that PC and vice versa.
I've been using it for quite a while now and works great.

WM5 and Desktop internet Favourites Short cuts

I have a heap of DESKTOP internet favourite short cuts, how do I get these into my jas jar internet favourites folder ?
Are they the same format, is it a simple cut and paste via Active sync explorer ???
Please advise and be specific for this newbie, thx
Pile them into the Mobile Favorites Folder on your Desktop. The next ActiveSync will send them to the PPC, that is, if you have favorites turned on in Active Sync.

Problem with Sync Favorites, Bookmarks...

Hello, Guys… Please, help me… I searched on Forum, but I found nothing.
I have a very unusual problem to synchronize the Favorites.
I had a TyTN (serial 630…) and it had no problem with synchronizing the Favorites between device and PC.
(I Used and use Office 2007, ActiveSync 4.5… and I have 360 Bookmarks in 30 Folders (under “Device Favorites” on PC)
Now I have a new TyTN with serial 650 and the same ROM (1.18.258.2 07/22/06 ITA)of the first TyTN.
When I Synchronize the TyTN for the first time, all it’s correct. Active Sync puts ALL the folders and ALL the Bookmarks into device.
When I Synchronize for the second time, the folders and the bookmarks into device remain the same. BUT on PC many bookmarks disappear (62 remain) while the number of Folders remains the same.
When I Synchronize for the third time, the folders and the bookmarks into device ever remain the same. BUT on PC more other bookmarks disappear (the number of Folders remains the same).
At the end I have ALL Bookmarks and ALL Folders on TyTN, while on PC I have 40 bookmarks (about) and ALL Folders.
The same problem happens if I write step by step the Bookmarks on Device.
So, if on TyTN I write (about) 70 Bookmarks in 8 Folders and Synchronize with PC, it’s all OK .
But if I write more bookmarks on Device and I want ho synchronize these ones on PC, Is not possible! These ones remain only on device and they can’t go on PC!
I tried to change any type of settings without results. I tried Hard Reset, Format PC, reinstallation of ActiveSync and Office too.
What can I do?

I have the Cingular 8125.
One thing I can say is that the Sync between the 8125 and ActiveSync is buggy. For instance, It keeps wiping out my favorites bookmarks on my system when doing a bi-directional sync. - wierd.
Anyways, After playing around with this phone for a few weeks, I do know that ActiveSync uses TCPIP via USB to communicate with the 8125. My suggestion is to temporarily disable any and all firewalls and see if it syncs up. When I plug my phone in I get a new network adapter that shows up and obtains an IP address from nowhere (169.254.2.2) as my systems are firewalled from the internet entirely and I don't run DHCP on my network.
I suggest the following:
1) See if Windows see a new network adapter when you plug in the 8125.
2) Disable all firewalls from that adapter.
3) Establish a firewall ruleset allowing data for both your local private network subnet (10.1.0.0/255.0.0.0, 172.16.0.0/255.255.0.0, 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0) and the 8125 network subnet (169.254.2.0/255.255.255.0)
4) When the phone is connected, it shows up in "My Computer" as "Mobile Device".
Hope this helps.

thanks.
but for exchange, cant i just export some reg keys ?
The xml generator from Sashimi doesnt actually export anything, it just prompt for all informations to create the XML.
I would just need the path of all those informations.
Thanks
Not as far as I know.
I use sashimi as an auto installer. PUt all my cab files in the correct folders. It also copies my opeaqr and my documents and some program files etc back. Restores owner information and the Makisu add ons sets up exchange and gmail for me. Its an amazing application. A complete setup after a new rom takes about 15 minutes.
