Hi,
I'm sure there is somebody here that can help me. I've set up my SPV M5000 with some old programs, and they certainly messed up with the registry about file associations.
I can display jpg normaly, but if I try to see a jpg file (ie not embeded into a web page), I get the file save dialog. At first, it was registered to pimg.exe, and I tryed associating to to pocket painter for example, with no luck.
Anybody know the key to place to go back to a normal jpg displaying state for pocket ie?
TIA
I've the same problem.
Mine is the same but I've installed nothing that would affect the file associations...
I think perhaps it's just another of the joyful 'features' of Microsoft's wonderful Pocket Internet Explorer
Does it do the same with a gif or bmp?
V
That's exactly what I had on mine. I didn't get to the bottom of it, but instead did what vijay suggested and created a local html file with the jpg embedded. All I needed was to view a single jpg within PIE (from my webcam). This works fine, but is a workaround only for 1 jpg. I wouldn't want to do this for everything!
Surely one of the File Explorer tools can change the file associations?
I think the problem lies within PIE, when you click a pic it assumes its an attachment and so will save it,
I cant try atm but its worth trying to goto a pic directly ie,
http://www.website.com/picture.jpg
it may well display the image then, not sure, cant test atm. and its not going to be very useful when doing some normal browsing.
Same with Gif. I've teste on a K-Jam, and it display the picture properly in ie. I'm sure there is something messed up in registry
Found the solution
There is a CLSID value missing in HKCR/MIME/Database/Content Type/image/jpg and other gif and jpeg
Add a string value CLSID
{698E3FCA-70C3-11D0-81E8-00A0C90AD21A} and you are set.
@thaihugo
Won't work for me.
I've tried with PHM RegEdit but same behaviour as before.
Can you give us a screen shot of the correct registry key, please?
BTW:
There is another string "Image Filter CLSID" and
there is a "Bits"-key in /gif and /bmp and /jpeg but not in /jpg.
Are these needed too?
OK now it works.
What i've done is:
Created and copied the CLSID mentioned above into
image/bmp
image/gif
image/jpeg
image/jpg
image/pjeg
Copy the "Bits" from /jpeg to /jpg
Created a "Image Filter CLSID" in /jpg with the same content as found in /jpeg
Save, wait and Softreset. -> Works as intended!
I don´t know if i've done to much, but everything works now.
I'm happy. Thank you!
I though it was my programs that would delete this keys, but it seems you need to insert them also. Maybe it is a full system bug? A registry export might be of some help if some other report the same problem.
This still isn't quite working for me...
Can someone explain again EXACTLY what I have to do?
Hmm - interesting stuff - will have to try this.
I assume this isn't going to affect other JPG viewers, eg Opera???
I have the same problem on both Hima and Universal WM2006
Himalaya > TOFCLOCK HIMA WM6 AKU.0.7.0
Universal > Jwrightmcps 9000_WWE_21200_21207_11500
The registry solution proposed doesn't work for me, probably due a different CSLID. Any suggestion?
THX
Many thanks to CouchPotato
@CouchPotato
Thank youuuu, your step by step solution worked fine for me on BA (WM6)

Has anyone got TodayPlus http://www.pocketpcfreeware.com/en/index.php?soft=843
up an running on the wizard. It is/was the best todayscreen plugin on my old Ipaq. I can get it to run as a stand alone app. but not to integrate as a plugin.
Al
Hmm.. I reviving this threat after 'discovering' something called 'TodayPlus'. I did a google to it and it seems to be a very powerful program. From the looks of it, it seems to have the potential to cover both PocketBreeze and PocketPlus.. and yet it seems to be not often being discussed here. It seems to be able to do everything, by scripting (feels to be like the PPC version of Samurize.com)
I'm bound to give it a go this weekend.
Those who are interested, take a look at this MASSIVE forum just for this today plugin/application.
http://forums.jhollin1138.com/
French version http://www.todayplus.fr.tc/
You may able to download the software from the link above (post by `wizzzard`).
Note that, there are a lot of software named TodayPlus, which includes a Palm based software that tries to emulate PPC Today. So, it is rather confusing to do a google for it. Anyway, the 'head' of TodayPlus seems to be at this site
http://www.dark-mojo.com/
But it seems to be currently down.. interesting...
i got it working
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?p=360201#360201
but i couldn't get it to update weather, rss, radar
attaching the program
Todayplus is/was the best plugin I found. It worked perfectly on my WM2003 Ipaq2210 and works on my WM5 Wizard. It was designed for WM2003 and does not support landscape correctly. There is no support available from the author but remains for me the most adaptable today screen plugin.
Don't work for me...
I got only a blank screen. Any suggestion?
Ciao
blank screen
i have given edited dll also in that archive.
Skip the steps for editing it and you have to follow these steps
phuntum (05-27-2005) - v0.11.0
On your PPC use a file explorer that will allow you to see extensions and hidden files to find the file “todayplus.dll” in \Program Files\TodayPlus and copy it to your PC. On your PPC turn off the TodayPlus plugin (uncheck in the Settings/Today screen), soft reset, and move “todayplus.dll” from \Program Files\TodayPlus to \My Documents. On your PC use a hexeditor to open the “todayplus.dll” and search for “7D 1E A0 E3 03 08 A0 E1”; replace “7D” with “8D”; save the edited “todayplus .dll” and copy it back to \Program Files\TodayPlus on your PPC. Delete” todayplus.dll” from \My Documents and reset your PPC. On your PPC turn on the TodayPlus plugin (check in the Settings/Today screen) and soft reset.
phuntum (05-28-2005) - v0.11.0
The above fix is permanent. Save the new todayplus.dll in a safe place so that if you have to reinstall (e.g., after a hard reset) all you need do is install, disable, and replace as per above. You might want to save the instructions just in case. Free hexeditors are abundantly available. Do a web search for one. It's a great program and the effort is worth it. When you're ready, surf over to http://www.jhollin1138.com for a goldmine of help. There is a great debate as to whether the fix should be shared--somewhat hypocritical in my estimation, since those who were lucky enough to get it before it disappeared are using it.
these are the directions from ppcfreewares i followed
after doing this go to this thread http://forums.jhollin1138.com/viewtopic.php?t=1292
and start with no 6 in instructions
good luck
I still need to reinstall this plugin after upgrading my ROM.
There are loads of diferent skins available my favourite is attached.
The Dark Mojo forum closed ages ago but discussions particularly on the "Hammerskin" skin are ongoing on http://forums.jhollin1138.com/
Hammerskin is awesome but it was too much of a resource hog last time I tried it.
Sorry for the double post
updates?
did u get weather and rss updated?
I have tried it twice on my Kjam. Used the modified dll provided. however, I can only see a white screen when trying to access the settings! :S Does anybody know what I am doing wrong? Thanks
Ok, I found it! I was missing the .net!
Very nice application with beautifull skins! Only drawback is that it does not auto refresh when you add a new apointment or task!
Apart from that its a really nice application!
Arrgghh,
Reinstalled on my Wizard after upgrading to Molski's ROM. I can get it working as a plugin rather than as a stand alone program, which previously was my stumbling block. Now I can't get the config utility to remember my location or get weather and rss feeds updated. This did work on my old ROM. I think it is just some reg settings that need creating but why it worked before and not now I do not know.
Hi Guys,
Im a newbie to this plugin but so far I understand that its able to make short cuts on the "desktop" just like a normal pc....and thats what Im looking for.
Ive followed the instructions carefully and the first time it went okay....i.e I got the slider.txt in the skin box. However I didnt find the "okay" button on the top.
Well I followed the instructions but it didnt show up on my desktop....strange so I uninstalled.
Now Ive been reading a bit further and read that the reason why it might not have workd could be the date so I decided to set back the clock 2 years and reinstall it.
2nd time around I dont get the slider.txt option, it has saved my settings from my first install....and it still doesnt work.
help help help
Well after som struggle I managed to get the slider.txt into the "Select Skin (DLL)"
But its still not working on my today screen. I can choose it as the only item on the today screen however its just blank.
Is this because I use a special black screen (tsk file) for my back ground ?
Also its seems to forget my location (Lat/Long)
Any help so that I can get it working ??
Im using a Qtek 9100 with WM 5 OS 5.1.195 Build 14847.2.0.0
Oh I'm happy again
I finally got Todayplus running properly again. Weather and RSS are updating correctly.
This is what I did.
1 install Todayplus cab
2 Disable Todayplus from Settings/Today/items
3 Soft reset. Or power cycle the phone.
4 Overwrite todayplus.dll with the modded one
5 create directory \program files\todayplus\Buffer
6 Connect to internet and verify connection with PIE, minimise
7 Run todayplus config
6 Tab to Weather/RSS add new weather cities and rss feeds
7 Tab to Time/Storage add new timezone and set storage path to \Storage Card (case sensitive and device specific for Wizard?
8 Close Todayplus config
The config utility would not save my location coordinates on the owner info tab so I manually entered the values into HKCU\Software\SRSSoft\TodayPlus\coords\1 (string value of the form 53.483,-2.053) You can get your city coords from http://www.heavens-above.com/
9 Disable all other today screen plugins and enable todayplus. Close the settings program.
On returning to the today screen after a short wait Todayplus should be working. This worked for me but there is loads of information at http://forums.jhollin1138.com/viewtopic.php?t=1292 if you need further help.
So I installed Opera.
Then when I get an email with a link on it and I click on it I get the following error:
OperaLauch.exe
The file 'OperaLaunch' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring the file.
A quick look at the Opera folder shows no file under that name. So out of curiosity I went and did a search on the web. Found only two sites talking about this but they are both in Russian. Great.
So obviously the line in the registry that points towards opening links is pointing to this program. I did a quick search and found a number of registry entries that would normally point to PIE but are not pointing to Opera.
Now I was wondering who here knows the registry entry to open items in Pocket Outlook so it uses PIE. Or even better how to make it work so it opens Opera as the default browser when clicking on items in Pocket Outlook.
Now, don't say to do a hard reset as I won't do it on principle alone, since I am sure someone knows and I am not going to reinstall everything I go just because one line in the registry!
Anyone? Or even so, anyone who had this same issue?

I have had this same problem and the only remedy was to uninstall, I posted this before and no one had any ideas as far as I could tell.
there is similar problem with netfront. U need to set pie as ur default browser, then link will be opened w/o probs in PIE.
btw: opera launch is or should be located in windows folder. try 2 search for file within ur pda
Thanks. But what you have told me I already posted on my original post.
I did a search already with the wildcard word "opera," and nothing called Opera Launcher came up. Then I checked the obvious Opera folder and nothing was there either. Hence why I know the issue could be fixed within the registry. That is what I was asking.
You can't set IE as your default browser because as I am sure you already know, there is no option within PIE to set it back to the default browser.
If I did a search on google I am found the registry entries to change back to PIE but there are a number of registry entries. So it could be fixed without a hard reset. But I wanted to see if anyone had figured out a way to use Opera as the Tab browsing is so much more useful and it is just better.
I have not found a fix for Opera, but as an alternative to having to do a hard-reset and reinstall everything again which is of course a hassle... I found the registry entries to switch back IE as the default.
Beats doing a hard-reset.

Anybody figured out the Opera problem?
Okay, after an in depth search I found the entry regarding OperaLauncher.
There is a stupid key at,
HKEY_local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\efBROWSER
Now I do not know the format to tell it to perhaps use Opera.exe.
Anyone can help?
Bump?.......
Shot, I didnt see this thread until I posted another one that is similar.
But yes, I am interested with finding this too..
Okay, I can see that NO ONE even tried to fix the issue. So I decided to do it myself. I mean, it is not the ultimate fix since I would like for Opera to open as default.
Logic dictates that Opera screwed up somewhere, so what I did was setup PIE to be the default browser by deleting and replacement two specific registry entries.
After that, PIE will still be the main browser when opening links in Outlook, and for everything else I can still use Opera. Since having to copy paste links from Outlook to IE or Opera was annoying enough to delete the browser altogether.
Cheers,
Which key is that?
Check the entry posted on my first post. Delete the Opera entries.
Take a look, type exactly as posted on value 0 and 1 an PIE will start and avoid that silly OperaLauncher problem.
Value 0
Pocket IE
Value 1
:MSPIE

Thanks, I was able to this no problems at all and it fixed the issue - at least by defaulting back to PIE without the error.
Hope I read this correctly and following is useful.....
To enable Opera to open links from emails in Pocket Outlook I did the following:
1. Copied 'opera.exe' (not the large dll) from \storage card\progam files\opera to \windows.
2. Found the entry 'operalaunch.exe' in the registry and changed it to 'opera.exe'.
Thats it - Opera launches when clicking hyperlinks in Pocket Outlook.
You only need to make one change:
In HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\: DEFBROWSER is a key called "1". Change the string value from "OperaLaunch.exe" to "\Program Files\Opera\OperaLaunch.exe" (or whereever Opera is actually installed). You need to include the quotes around the string. Save and restart your device. Should work (did for me).
John
Registry Keys
I had the same problems after uninstalling Opera.
Error message: OperaLaunch cannot open , blabla
I had to change the following registrykeys:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\wsp\Shell\Open\Command
String Value (Default) = iexplorer.exe %1
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\ EFBROWSER
String Value 0 = Pocket IE
String Value 1 = :MSPIE
Good Luck
I managed it just.
I copied all the files from the Opera folder to the windows filder, then changed this,

And it worked ... It wouldnt work before, when trying to point it to the storage card, it kept saying "Storage cannot be loaded" or something ... I just realised i had forgot the " from the beginning and end of the string

hi my friend ,I am having the exact same problem you've had.The only problem being is that I am a novice and know nothing about computers,in other words I am not computer literate so am finding it difficult to understand. Is it possible to help me through it in easy steps if you have the time.Regards Anthony
I found that many of the latest ROM cooks of WM6.1 have the annoying issue of Activesync always starting itself every minute... i searched a lot and found the best common solution is the fake account with manual settings...
After playing around with the registry i managed to find a better way.
Just open your favourite registry editor and set the value:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\ActiveSync\KeepAlive
to 0
and enjoy.
Hope this will help future cooks to use this feature in their ROMs.
Cheers
Personally, I've been trying to read up on editing embedded database files (and CEDB files) to fix this situation once and for all. I've hex edited mxip_notify.vol and removed the repllog.exe call for AS after a time sync (which is the main reason AS starts up roughly every minute). It works, though when checking the notification queue there are three empty notifications that I'm not sure whether they hurt performance or not. Ultimately, if someone is able to get the WM5 or WM6 (6.1) SDK and knows how to edit EDB's or CEDB's (in a volume, of course. ), I'm sure the community as a whole would greatly appreciate it. I'll keep working at it; however, I've never used VS 2005 so I have a nice learning curve to navigate.
i already try the reg edit method, but it still come back when i softreset my phone.
the best method is the fake server. =)
Keep in mind also that on the 6.1 ROMS, if the Automatic Time Zone setting is enabled in the clock settings menu, it will continue to load up activesync periodically. Disabling it, at least for me, keeps activesync at bay...............
The hex edited mxip_notify.vol works great for me, I can still leave the Automatic Time Zone setting enabled without any AS problems. Just would like to eliminate the blank notifications in the queue.
I can post my edited mxip_notify.vol for anyone that wants it. The only thing is that it needs to be cooked in. So chefs would have the most benefit of this.
EDIT : By request, here is my modified mxip_notify.vol. When cooking simply replace the mxip_notify.vol in the SYS\Shell folder. Enjoy.

No problem. Check my post above I've added the file there. I simply wish that I had the skill (and time to learn) to edit the volume properly to eliminate the notifications. Oh well.

for me on polaris with syrius r4 the regkey seems to work... changed it yesterday and no active sync since then! so many thx!
oh, well... looks like the "keepalive" edit is only a partial solution. It works only until AS is started again (USB connection, launching it manually, or timechange if not disabled in the notify queue).
I played a bit with AS and here's what I found 'til now.
Everytime it starts it checks if a partnership with an exchange server is set, if not the "keepalive" value is set to 1.
If there's a partnership and the schedules are different from both "manual" it sets the keepalive again to 1.
That's why reg_editing the value lasts only temporarly.
So, the only way for not having A.S. "alive" is having a partnership with something and the sync schedules both set on manual...that's why the fake server is the best method, but I was searching for a way to "cook it in".
For the partnership issue i found this workaround.
Add the key {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000001} under [HKCU\Software\Microsoft\ActiveSync\Partners\]
and the string Engine="{22C7DA12-F3FD-4875-8344-7786454F6534}" in that new key.
This will create a fake partnership with a dummy exchange server without having to go through the configuration menu, so this tweak can be used for cooking.
The second part require a bit of databases manipulation. Actually i know what to change and where but i'm not able to figure out how to cook this (in particular i need to know how the pim.vol database is created in the first boot).
I'll play some more tomorrow and will post what found... and eventually i'll try to solve the empty entries problem...now is time to have some sleep
attached there's a .reg with the tweak mentioned... cheers
Alternative method
Hi,
I've used the fake exchange server method before, but I prefer to use SKTools to do the job. Been using SKTools for over two years and this feature has been available since then.
Download SKTools from http://s-k-tools.com/
Install SKTools and disconnect your PDA.
Make sure activesync on the PDA is closed (not minimized).
Go to the Tune-up section, and enter the activesync tab.
Change "AS auto connect" from yes to no.
No need to soft-reset.
Done!
Note that the PC will still detect the PDA, and this is reflected in Device Manager, but Activesync (WinXP) and Windows Media Device Center (WinVista) do not start. There is no syncing.
The PDA will also detect the connection, and activesync will start in the background, but it will not sync anything.
I use this method to charge my PDA without activesync starting when I don't need it. Hope this works for you too.
Hi,
Thanks a lot mi friend !!!!

thx for the directions, but... looks like the tweak you posted is intendend for keeping AS from starting on the desktop, while were trying to do the opposite, stopping AS from starting itself every minute, and makin' it a permanent cooked tweak ready for ROM flashing...
anyway, there's no real need of sktools to do that, is the same option in actyvesync-connections
or through registry key
HKCU\ControlPanel\Comm\AutoCnct
there's still some work to do

That's good info, bradipo.xda. Have you looked at using CeRegEditor to help with finding the other necessary entries? You can perform a "before and after" comparison of the registry for detecting registry changes. I would look into it personally, however, I'm a little to busy to do so right now.
SOLVED
Here I have attached an mxip_notify.vol with ceipui and the timed repllog entries removed AND I have attached a provxml that will set sync times to manual without creating the fake server. This combination effectively prevents ActiveSync from restarting itself every few minutes.
I use this reg key, didn't see it mentioned here.
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ System \ ActiveSync \ Engines \ {176F4FFD-F20C-4bd4-BDD7-01D0726C567B} \ Settings]
"SyncAfterTimeWhenCradled"=dword:00000000
Change the dword value to 0 as shown above, which means manual sync. The default value is 5, 5= 5mins, 15= 15mins, etc

Something to do with TouchFlo3D
Hi All,
I don't have the time to look into this myself, but I found that when I disabled touchFlo 3d to try out Mobile Shell, active sync never started up randomly. As soon as I turned TF3D back on... active sync kept coming back.
Just putting this out there, see if it helps anyone find a fix for that damn activesync.
The best and easiest solution
Holy cow people!, that's some crazy junk you're trying out there. I applaud your efforts but there is a much easier way.
As you know...
1. Disable the Repllog Notification (Apprunaftertimechange) in the Notification Window.(recommmend fdc taskmanager for this)
2. Registry hack [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ActiveSync] locate value "Keep Alive" change this to "0" for disabled.
But now the enlightenment...
3. Use fdcsoft's registry editor to tap and hold "KeepAlive" and select "Export..." (or chose from file menu) This will export this one value to a .reg file. Put this file in your \\Windows\StartUp folder. Now if you don't already have a program to "run" .reg files, you need to associate them with TaskMgr.
4. Using Total Commander, tap and hold your .reg file and select "Properties". Select "Associate" tab. Tap the gray box that says "Associate..." In the "Command:" box, reference the location of TaskMgr.exe (ex. \Program Files\FdcSoft\TaskMgr\TaskMgr.exe) In "Parameter:" box, leave the "%1" and add "/silent" (%1/silent) This keeps a dialoge box from popping up.
6. "OK" the changes and enjoy!
Now when windows starts it will "run" the .reg file and change the 1 back to 0. Problem solved.
bye bye Activesync!

Ok, best and easiest are matters of opinion. IMO, installing the cab I provided here is easier than the 6 steps you provided and doesn't require anything to be run at startup since Activesync will not try to run on its own anymore. But, that's only my opinion and it goes without saying that each person should do whatever works best for him or her.
Hi,
I'm trying to make work the function "Show Home on map" from the contact card but without success. After a lot a research : nothing. When i click on the "show on map" button, come an error showing "the file 'TelmapNav' cannont be opened....". I can't find this file nor the directory it should be.
Has anyone the same problem and eventually the solution.

The rom is the stock 1.48 (same things happened with 1.61).
SOLVED :
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"PeopleMapVendor"=dword:00000002 ==> Orange Map
"PeopleMapVendor"=dword:00000001 ==> Google Map
Just tried L26 custom roms (v2.1) and the problem is still there...
It's probably assuming CoPilot has been installed. Have you got CoPilot installed? Same problem when you use Footprints and try to go to the location of the footprint.
I guess it's a way of cajoling you into abandoning Tomtom and buying CoPilot. Looks like HTC have a deal going on with CoPilot's makers.
Mine works fine and puts me on google maps...have you removed or disabled google maps?
Google is activated and work with Digital compass and with Footprint not with "Show home on map".
Copilot is not installed at all, I will give it a try...but don't want to use it...
EDIT : just installed Copilot 8 live, and nothing changed, still the same error ...
I get google maps too - works fine for me.
argggggg.....
Can't even find in which directory the TelmapNav.exe should be (would try to fake it with another exe but can't without this information).
Can't find anything regarding telmapnav in registry, so sad, i'm the only one with this problem...

That exe isn't on my phone either. You must have installed something that (for whatever reason) modified how the contact-to-map link works, and that's caused the problem. Have you ever installed any other map software? Telmap Navigator, for example?
Telmap navigator isn't installed, I'v tried to install it on both devide and storage card and nothing, maybe the problem come form the manila mod i'v installed (BG4all and 20 shortcuts). I will try to find information in those new manila files...
I'm with Orange and they preinstalled telmapnav. So, on my phone contact to map also launches Telmapnav, a bit like Smaky07, just that in my case it does find the .exe. But I don't want to use this piece of crap! I want it to work with TomTom or Google maps.
I searched my registry and found some keys with telmapnav in various values, but they all seemed to be Orange specific and not contact related. So, if anyone knows how the contact application is associated with a navigation app, that would be great!
pat12 could you provide telmap installation directory, just to know if I'm able to fake sense to launch something when choosing show home on map.
Ok i've find some things. I bet this is related to orange stk auto customisation (or something like that). The TelmapNav.exe must be \Programes Files\Maps\TelmapNav.exe. I'v installed OrangeMaps and "Show Home on map" open the orange navigator.
On mine, I have it at two different locations: same as yours (\program files\...) plus in the \windows folder. I agree with you that the one used by contact is in program files especially as there is a dll that seems aptly named ContactsPlugin.dll...
Anyway, I just found out that if I use the Windows contact application (in the Outlook folder) I do have a Google Maps localisation item in the menu!
Which by the way you can also get using the HTC Contact application.
Select a contact, on the screen you will have the map icon that will use the telmapnav app but click menu -> add and display more information -> again menu -> scroll to the bottom and... Google maps!
If i rename my GoogleMaps folder to Maps and rename the exe from GoogleMaps.exe to TelmapNav.exe, "show home on map" open GoogleMaps but no information is passed and only MyLocation is shown.. Have to find how data location are passed to appli...
could someone for whom it's working seach his registry and tell us all the entries for googlemaps that seem relevant to our problem?
I think a DLL is responsible for this behavior, but I can't find which one.
I've re flashed my phone with new WWE rom and same things happened, there must be a process which customize the phone with orange "flavor"... but what process?????
SOLVED....
I have finally solved this issue.
The configuration for software launched on click on "Show home on map" is handle by a REG key :
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"PeopleMapVendor"=dword:00000002 => TelmapNav (Orange Map)
"PeopleMapVendor"=dword:00000001 => Google Map
I guess the default value was 1 but after each reflash, I have a script that restore some reg bakcup value and that was the problem for me.

In my case, on pressing the map icon against the address in contact card, it does nothing. I do have the above mentioned registry set to "1" already.
what can be the problem?
