Xda Exec for sale

I am looking at putting my exec up for sale, but the screen has been cracked not from a fall but it just broke.
How much do you think i could get for it?

Is it boxed / complete? Last one I bought like that on ebay I paid £135 for. It was a jasjar not an exec though

have you tried ringing up htc liverpool?
go to www.htceurope.com and get their phone number and ask how much it would be to put a newlcd in. cant be that much surely, better than taking a huge monetary drop
if all fails, ill give you a tenner for it matey, jokes aside please find out how much it would be, you might be surprised

HTC won't repair XDA devices only orange and t-mob branded units - if you read liverpool's previous thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=40201&highlight=

Fluffcat; It is boxed everything there, 2 extra protective cases one of which is a hard case not a leather one and also screen protector.
I have already rang htc europe and they were no help. But i dont understand how the screen cracked it was in its leather case and didnt fall, took it out of my pocket and it was cracked.
But if anyone wants to make an offer ill think about it.

Have you tried PPCTechs for a screen replacement? they seem to do it for 249 dollars

You could try sending it to a mate via royal mail, insure it for whatever value it will cost to replace, if the screen breaks on route it will be covered. Oh, sorry, just reread your post, didn't realise it was already broke :wink:

lost my battery cover for 8125. Where I can get another?

I pulled my phone out of my case yesterday and it felt kinda weird to me. Took a look at the back and the battery cover was missing. Turns out I lost it at a bar the night before. A friend saw it on the ground there, but didn't realize what it was until I was asking if anyone saw it the next day.
I called the bar. They said no one turned it in and odds are it got swept up and tossed.
I called the store I bought it from. They said they can't order that piece.
I called Cingular. They say its an accessory, so its not under warranty and they dont sell them anyway.
I tried calling HTC Texas earlier, but no one answered.
Right now I have electrical tape holding the battery on. Please, please, please somebode help me.

The only thing I can think of is if you can get one from those dummy units for sale on ebay?

I think the dummy phones are all one piece. If not, I may just have to head into a cingular store and end up with the cover in my pocket somehow.

Thanks Xenos. My battery cover is on its last prong so as soon as I saw there was a place to call to order this part, I was on it. Once again, thanks.

would they sell to europe?
Due to my dual sim adapter my cover has a bulge now. Id like to try to modify it, but not until i have a spare cover (just in case!)

Just spoke with the people and they said they would.

I contacted HTC Europe (via www.htceurope.com contact form).
They sell the cover as well: GBP 10 incl shipping/handling to The Netherlands. You can pay by creditcard.
Just ordered one, waiting for payment details.

anyone know where to get a front housing for a cingular 8525?

dog bit mine, up around the pocket IE shortcut.. as a result it has nullified the use of any of the front housing buttons. looking to get a replacement. i'm comfortable doing repairs, as i work for sprint as a repair tech.. anyone know where to get some parts?

also, this pains me to post, but here is what i'm talking about.

For sale: leather case from my never-ending search for the perfect case

hey there everyone, I've already went through two cases in my quest to look for the perfect case. and guess what, I ended up settling with a $10 carbon fiber pattern plastic case. so now I have to get rid of my leather case. it's like this: http://www.amazon.com/Tilt-Designio...sr_5?ie=UTF8&s=wireless&qid=1207201506&sr=8-5 but says "ibo" instead of "boxwave" on the back. no sorry this one doesn't have a belt clip
all the pockets are there, including a pocket for the stylus.

it's not really carbon fiber... just plastic with the pattern printed on it. it's a standard plastic case. it works pretty well so far. i haven't dropped it so i've yet to see it offer protection. very snug fit!

Magnetic stylus + ballpoint combo

Hmm.. looks like the thread about stylus/ballpoint that I posted a couple of days ago got deleted/rollbacked along with the server shuffle, so I'll post it again - basically I'm looking for a magnetic stylus that has ballpoint/pen. Someone posted a link earlier but there was some mix up as to whether its a ballpoint/stylus or simply a regular one.
I looked around the net and found some made by Styra or Songtak, but not whether those are magnetic. If they are not, wouldn't they fall off the phone? Any help on this is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I've been waiting for these to come on eBay, and yes, it's there now... you can get these for $5 max.... but they don't ship to Canada and i only need 1... can anyone buy these the package of 3 and share it with me?

I bought one of these when i ordered my video cable. Ive had it for months and i love it. I keep it in my shirt pocket at work so i can easily mess with my phone or write.

Its not magnetic though. I also had to gorilla glue the middle from pulling apart because it didnt stay together that well. but i love this pen now.

hey man, Thanks for the offer. I'll take it if you're getting them from eBay. the ideal price would be $3/each including shipping (that's the price I got for the stylus of my tilt)
But you have to be careful, the stylus of a Fuze is slightly different from a Touch Pro

I go one from ebay, the listing said 3X so I assumed there would be three of the stylus/pen units but there was only one! For $10 it is one expensive stylus!

maybe is 1 package of 3 stylus
that's what I got for the Tilt... but it's better if you check with the seller.

Buy 3 get 1 ... Is it a magnetic one by the way? I've been asking around, and discovered that most of them aren't. Wouldn't it fall off easily without the magnets?

have you contacted the seller about it?
i haven't got the chance, because i used my girlfriend's ebay account to order (she's from USA), and i dont have her password. =(

I complained after the package arrived and they sent me 2 more! AAA+++ for this seller, don't see that level of service on ebay much these days

no way! i'll try that right now. that IS good service. did you write anything special?

Here is what I wrote:
"Hello,
I received my stylus but there was only one in the package when the title reads "3X" which I interpreted as "three times" or "Three included"
I'm dissapointed, please advise"
They sent me a tracking number the next day along with a friendly email to let me know they were taking care of it!

I bought them and they are not magnetic and they fall right out of the Fuze.

anyone know where to get the stylus that comes with the Touch Pro? I lost mine none of them I have found seem to look like the OEM. I'm sure they work but I would like the OEM to replace it with.
