My company that I am going to work with has a blackberry e-mail server is it possible to use the titan on a backberry e-mail server or is there some type of app?
I'm in the same situation, unfortunately, no there isn't to my knowledge, (and I'm the IT Manager at my company) but I do have my work e-mail set up as IMAP4 on my Titan, which is a workaround to what you desire.
There is/was a blackberry client for win mobile, but I don't think anyone has been able to make it work on the Titan.

Does anyone know if it's possible to configure the XDA2 (O2 UK) to use both Activesync and Exchange MMIS as well as Blackberry?
I'd like to continue to use ActiveSync/MMIS for my corporate email, but try to get the Blackberry software setup for my personal email.

Yes, it is possible. Blackberry installs itself as a separate message service so it has its own inbox etc.

I need push email from my companies corporate email system.
We have a Blackberry server but I have yet to find a working Blackberry client for the Wizard?
On my old PDA2K I have been using Smartner Duality which worked great HOWEVER this does not seem to be compaitble with the Wizard so suddenly I have lost my email capability and need to get it back urgently.
Any ideas out there folks?

PS Smartner client on my desktop in the office used to 'forward' all my outlook mail via a special server they had and thence to my PDA2K.
It is this kind of functionality I am lookiing to replace UNLESS someone actually has the Blackberry client software!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
for MS's push you'll need to wait for a ROM update with AKU 2.0
for the time being you can just set your wizard to sync with your exchange server over the net (wifi/gprs etc) every x minutes
You can try vgsmail by geoffreycross to be found in the thread 'push-email now available' it's developed for 2003 & there are posts by yzzard to get working under 2005 as well. Need to add some reg.keys manual.

I WISH.
My company is running a REAL OLD version of Exchange server and our Firewall will not allow PDA's to connect!!!!!!!!!
Unfortunately this is not an option for me.

I don't think we have IMAP enabled on our mail server and I would still haev a firewall problem so this won't work for me either. :evil:

Do they support the imap protocol? if so try vgsmail.

I doubt they actually block PDAs since Activesync just runs over port 80 and the mail apps just use standard mail ports. More likely they don't have the appropriate software set up to active sync. Sounds like you might be better off waiting until the next ROM updates (Rumors put it as close as this week, but deffinetly before the end of Q1 this year) and possibly looking into a hosted exchange solution and having your work email forward there.

I don't know if Vodafone offers the same thing as T-Mobile here in the states but see if they have corporate email access available, T-Mobile does and it works ok, similar to Smartner (i used that when I was running 2003SE) it works on my network and it is really locked down from outside access and they have disabled pop and imap access plus we are running Lotus Notes (man it sucks)

- In work we use Lotus Domino Mail Server. Outside work we can access our email through a BlackBerry Enterprise Server from a BlackBerry device.
I would like to use my Qtek 9100 instead of the BlackBerry device to access the e-mail, address book, calendar and to do list.
Is that possible?

yes, it is possible. My MDA Vario = HTC Wizard works well with Lotus. The IT-department at my company sent me some files to put on my PDA and prepared everything for me. It's a proggie named OneBridge, and I think it's running on the basis of XTNDConnect. There are several tools which allow the sync of Lotus and WM5-PDAs, like e.g. MNotes, PDASync3.
I use mNotes 4.2.0 - but with the Personal version you need to run a Lotus Notes Client on a machine connected to your server (I run an old thinkpad in my office as a bridge into the Domino server) - then mNotes on the PDA connects to that machine.
Works great over Wifi and GPRS...
To get it to PUSH email, however, you would need mSuite (which has to sit on the server) - I believe... too expensive plus I have no access to the Domino server

For all who'd like to have real pushmail on the SB X01HT without doing Blackberry, there's an interesting free solution. Provided that you have a PC running consistantly somewhere, check out www.emoze.com. They provide client a client for the PC as well ast the X01HT (I use the HTC TyTN version...).
The way it woks is that whenver a mail arrives at your PC, emoze syncs it to their servers and pushes it back to the X01HT. The mobile client is configurable, so you can be always on (real push) or sync at regular intervals.
Works great on corporate domain accounts behind firewalls as well... only issue I see is that the X01HT get's pretty slow if you are running 'always-on' on a WIFI connection...

isnt imap push ? i mean the mail arrives within 10 seconds.
I just want to document my ideal e-mail solution as I just got everything working perfectly on my Softbank X01HT.
I have my own e-mail address on rented server space

This is my "real" e-mail address. All mail here is forwarded to a gmail account:
[email protected]
where it is filtered for spam, THEN forwarded to a mail2web.com Personal Exchange account.
[email protected]
mail2web.com exchange account can synch in realtime with your phone, (i.e. true PUSH mail. Maybe the free one can do this too, BUT with a paid-for personal account you can also set the FROM: field to a specific e-mail address. In my case, I set it to [email protected]!
So if you send me an e-mail to [email protected] it is checked for spam then sent to mail2web who then PUSH it onto my phone instantly.
and if I send an e-mail from my phone, the From: field just says [email protected]. The receiving party need never know it went through mail2web.com
I highly recommend this solution, the cost is less than $0.65 per month!

sorry I missed this. mail2web charges a small fee for the privilege of setting the "From" address to something other than mail2web.com . Otherwise it's free.

yes. You can change it to whatever you like as long as you can validate that you have access to that address (you ahve to fill in a code which they e-mail to you)
Let me first apologize if this is a question which has been discussed at length in another area.
My company currently uses blackberrys with an enterprise exchange e-mail system (i suppose that is called BES with blackberrys, no?). Anyway, on my old blackberry, all I had to do was put in my corporate e-mail and an enterprise activation password. From there the setup would do the rest. Is there any way to get my new MyTouch phone to get hooked into the system the same way my blackberry was? Cost is irrelevant, I just want to find a solution.
I have looked at software options (i.e. touchdown, and the work email program) with no luck.

You don't need BB server to make it work, all you need is Outlook Web Access. Do you have OWA access for corp email?
Yes, we have that. I can access it with my VPN safeword card.
Cool, try to use the OWA address as the server.
