i have had my wing for about a month and have resently learned about flashing roms.i have been using the open touch 7.4 lite for about 2 weeks and havent had problems until yesterday when i was listening to music and the screen kept turning grey and jus stayed there.and now its began to take longer to turn it on.ive tried new roms and reseting it bt nothing.can anybody help plz

i might be wrong, but i thought that there was a memory leak with the audio manager. the problem was that once audio manager was used it would run in the background continuously. i would look around this thread a bit, or just upgrade to a later release. good luck
My 2 months old hd2 behaving very oddly after latest firmware update from T-mobile site.
Problems.
1. Tries to register to the tower every minute , can notice the ... near the signal bar.
2. Time doesnot get synced.
3. No calls recieved for 3 days, had 7 voice mails from friens screaming. No notification on the phone.
Taken it to the store,
1. They tried a new sim card, no use.
2. Master reset no use.
Store called the cusotmer care.
1. They would not put accross to the tech support because need to wait 2 hrs after replacing new sim card. What a b... (really controlling myself not to write nonsense here.)
2. Store guy tried to convience the customer care for 1 hour just to transfer line to tech support . no sucess . Ordered new phone for replacment. So no phone for me till they ship the new one.
Bought HD2 , believing windows 7 will be released soon , believe microsoft fired the top guy who running the programme.
Question.
1. How do i come out of the t-mobile contract.
2. can i switch to andriod or even stupid iphone.
I been having cell phone for the past 7-8 years , first time in life without phone for a week.
wondering HD2 dumb phone or dumb tmobile or me -dumb for chosing t-mobile ???
I would suggest you try either flashing back to the previous T-Mobile stock ROM, or to a different radio, that will probably make a big difference in your reception.
Also, did you do a hard reset immediately after flashing to the new ROM?
T-Mobile gives a 14-day buyer's remorse period to be able to return the phone, but you're obviously past that now, so the only way to get out of the contract is to pay the ETF (early term. fee).
As far as the iphone, you would have to buy one elsewhere and get it unlocked to work on T-Mobile's network, and even then you wouldn't get 3G on it.

I would first check the battery pins like samsamuel suggested, that might be the source of your batt issue now.
Then, I would first try a hard-reset as a fix for your original problems, and if that doesn't work then try a different radio.
I would just flash a custom rom to it. I use Kumars classic rom and my phones bullet proof. I don't ever need to reset or ever reboot it. I did find one bug and that was that the file explorer extenerder cab would hand if you tried to close it in task manager. So I just intal it if I need it which isnt' very often.

The battery pin is bent, waiting for T-mobile to ship the new phone.

Give the stock 2.13 a try with class 6 (or class 4 minimum) microsd card...I was all about custom ROM's with my android phone but I've had the HD2 for almost 3 months now and I have yet to try and flash a custom ROM. Why? Because the stock works really well. I've never gone this long without flashing a custom ROM...
I love my HD2. iPhone is not as good.

Just wanted to let you know that ur lucky because since the update of 2.13 I've been having to restart my phone very often. I noticed before the update that when tring to send a message while receiveing one that my phone would freeze within the message screen. Now after the update no matter what once i'm receiving a message my whole phone freezes. It's a pain in the ass and tmobile programming team sucks!!!! Can someone please stare me in the direction of a good rom that I won't have this issue with and which is fast!!!! PLEASE!
having the same problem here,my answer was going back to stock and then i flashed an energy rom it freezes some times but not as often once or twice day

I have had Energy Rom (the "Unstable" ver) for months now and NEVER locked up. I have had to reboot the phone like once a week if it starts acting a little odd, but NEVER locked up. If your locking up this often, get a new phone under warrantee ASAP!

I would like to know if is possible to any of you answer some questions about this device:
1) I was using the stock ROM some months, and i noticed that some times it just freeze. i mean, the phone would not give any kind of response unless i take off the battery or hold the power on button a while, then press again and turn on this time. I really hoped that this issue was from the ROM, but now exactly the same happened today using the JELLYBLAST v3. Is there some explanation for this behavior? or is just what i get for such a low price smartphone?
I didnt saw that happening yet, and the battery was not totally out, i remember that i saw at least 50% charged the last time it happened.
2) Why i cant connect to a bluetooth HID device? the stock rom and the JELLYBLAST said the same: that cant connect. I saw somewhere that this is possible with Cyanogen, but how come? i really searched at the store for a app that could do that for me, but not a single one worked (from the ones that i found, research made 3 months ago).

I ordered a Nexus 4 right before the announce date of the new Nexus 5, and it was straight from Google Play in the US. When I received the phone I had no chance to check it out since it uses the micro sim and I was leaving next day morning to another country.
Reached my final destination, and got me a new sim card "micro", inserted the sim card and as soon as i powered it on, it asked me for an update! The phone came with stock rom 4.3 and it asked for two updates:
4.4 and then it updated it self to 4.4.2 Kitkat
After the phone updated it self, I tried to use it by making a phone call and guess what? No audio, neither from my end or the other end, even the voip applications such as skype, viber or any other calling app..
Found also that my mic doesn't record at all in any of the apps, neither video, or even with a headphone mic!
I have searched the internet for such problem, and it appeared there are 1000's of people complaining about the no call audio issue. Some of my friends recommended me to ask my question here in your forum, since there are a lot of talented people around and here I am..
I checked your forum before posting this thread, and non of the cases applies to me at all. But!! The only thing that I came a cross is this link:

When i did that fix, I was able to hear the ring through the wired earphones during the regular outbound voice calls. And I was able to make voip calls through skype, viber and majictalk. ONLY THROUGH the wired headphones.
And got stock now at that point and I don't know what to do next...
So my question is:
Can any of you guys can help me out by attaching/sending a fully functioning Nexus 4 running 4.4.2 rom >> snd_soc_msm_2x_Fusion3 file??
That would be my last chance before tossing that piece of garbage in the trash.. I want to try the snd_soc_msm_2x_Fusion3 of a normal phone since the one I have changed, for some reason the lines never matched the original thread by big time!
Please let me know if any of you can upload one.

If that doesn't work out you can try to flash different radios, not sure which one you need though. But it can all be done inside the toolkit

My best guess is to unlock the bootloader and install a factory image.

The voip works now but with only wired headset.. And through the earpiece I was able to hear the other party's ring.. But when he/she answers I can't hear them or they can't hear me..
That means it is not a hardware issue tho "as far as my knowledge"!
Again, I have tried to downgrade, I even reached the 4.2.1 rom, with all the up to the current one 4.4.2, I have tried different radios, ..etc NO LUCK!
I have uploaded my original file tho if that will help

I'm kinda clueless here.. Do you have warranty on it?
I would take it to the store if I were you. But I guess you're pretty far away from the store you bought it from.

And regarding the warranty, YES! It has a full year warranty.. About the store.. here is the issue, I left the USA the next I received my phone.. The item was purchased from Google Play directly.. Now they have no issue to return it or do RMA.. The thing is to ship it back and forth will cost me four time the money that I paid for! Its better to toss it away and get me a different phone since the Nexus has a lot of issues even tho with brand new N5

I got a Fly Tornado Slim from Russia which is identical to the Vivo Air.
Other names of the phone are: Kazam Tornado 348 (UK), Allview X2 Soul Mini (Romania) and Gionee Elife S5.1 (India, first appearance)
I checked all of the manufacturers, but couldn't find a lollipop firmware so far.
Did anyone have more success?

I tried framaroot too and it failed...
I've even tried the PC based ones, but I can't get the phone to work in USB Debugging mode on the PC so they wont see it.
Did anyone ever have any luck with root?

Tried all root tools so far and couldn't root it. Some people had the luck to root it, I heard. But it depends on the firmware installed.
I use the current "Kazam Tornado 348" firmware so far, which is a slightly modified Vanilla Android.

Good people. I Just received my BLU Vivo Air (black) yesterday and love it for the mid tier phone that it is. I love the form factor and how light and thin it is.
Right out of the box there was a minor update for bug fixes and performance. After that everything was still working fine. Including camera. Now this morning I attempted to use "CharmCam" once again to take a night shot. When I loaded the app there was a light haze and I could see the image behind the haze. It was as if the camera lens some how over exposed to allow more light in. The issue is that the software was also non responsive to the point of not even being able to take the picture. So I rebooted and still same result. I then tried the native camera app and this worked fine the first time and then the same haze and non responsive software buttons after the first picture.
Once I get a chance I am going to do a factory reset and see if that fixes the issue.
Still love everything else about the phone.
I'm looking for some info on the stock launcher to see if it is even worth while keeping it versus installing GEL or Nova. The icons on screen don't bother me per se, I have an iPhone.

The issue i'm having with my Blu vivo air is the phone audio doesn't go through the car speakers or use the car mic. I'm connected through bluetooth and I can play all my media audio through my car speakers. It's only when i try to pick up a call and talk that this feature completely doesn't work.
I understand that with so many different car head units functionality can be a little different. I'm just seeing if any others are experiencing the same thing. I had no issues previously with my htc one. I just started loving this phone too, and this is a big feature for me. My only work around is to pick up my phone and take it off bluetooth and answer it normally, which i shouldn't be doing in my country. I own a scion fr-s stock head unit for those wondering. I hope there will be an update to fix this issue......

Have you tried to format the phone? I saw a post the fixed WiFi connection by formatting.
Also, a few of the users here has already received some updates. I believe the most recent is v11.

WiFi does not work
I just got mine days ago, the WiFi was working when i first set it up but then it stops for no known reason. i have done a factory reset on the phone and was able to connect to my WiFi network again, but as soon as the phone finish updating the WiFi stops working again. does anyone knows how to fix this? i really like the design of the phone, but i'm going to return unless this WiFi is problem permanently fix.
Vivo Air Battery Issue
I find Vivo Air to be excellent phone. Battery life is great, with 3G enabled it lasts more than 3 days, but it is my wife's phone and she mostly uses it for calls and viber.
The only issue that she has it that battery percentage is not shown correctly. The percentage goes down as it should be and after some time it will just go up. For instance it can go to 55% and the next time she lights the screen it will show 85% full. So, she does not know what actual battery status is. We tried with installing battery apps, DU Battery Saver, but it shows wrong battery percentage as well.
I have opened case with BLU company and they advised to perform factory reset, without wipe data cache, but it did not help.
BLU is a little bit slow with answers, so I tought that maybe somebody had same problem and can advise how to solve it.
So, any ideas what to do?
