I sometimes get the message "Your sms cannot be sent", but it does send. anyone else got this error, i have looked and it doesnt seem to be listed on here.
Sometimes i get a text off people asking why i have sent it twice!
I can't send text messages.....
I have only had my QTEK 9100 a few days so haven't needed to send any SMS text messages. Well I just tried and it doesn't work. If I compose a simple message and then attempt to send it (to a known working mobile phone) it attempts to go but comes back a few seconds later with a dialigue box saying 'Your text message cannot be sent'. I have sent a message to it from another phone and it receives OK, if I try to reply it just comes back with the same message 'Your text message cannot be sent'.
I upgraded to the RISidoro 2.26 ROM - is it possible this is the problem?

Panic over..... It was an error in the number for "Voice Mail and Text Messages" Service under the phone settings.....

I have a problem with my htc prophet, it won't let me send any sms messages or alter the phone settings. I keep getting an error message saying 'phone is not ready please retry in 15seconds.' Has anyone experienced this or know what i can do?
Hey Guys, hey. I've been sending txt messages all day, but all of a sudden I now get this notification when trying to send: "Your text message cannot be sent". Then a underlined red link appears in the text window that says "Message was not sent, try again?". When I click it, it tries to send, but with the same results. Has anyone seen this? Can you please help me? Thanks!

Same problem wiht HD I got from UK and use in Israel. Can't send SMS
Blackstone. Can't send SMS but still can receive.
I checked setting, checked with carrier (I use cellcom) everything seems to be fine, just does not send and it was fine couple days ago.
Hi sorry if this has been posted before but I couldn’t find it. I have a G2 Touch the problem I have is when I receive an sms text message it displays the message as soon as I get it the background fades out and the message appears in a highlighted window along with the sender. What I want it to do is show there is a message in the notification bar then manually go to messages and open it in there. This is the way it happened when I first got the phone and it then started displaying them on receipt. I don’t have any sms apps installed but I just can’t find a way of stopping this from happening. Thank You in advance.
