I can't send text messages.....
I have only had my QTEK 9100 a few days so haven't needed to send any SMS text messages. Well I just tried and it doesn't work. If I compose a simple message and then attempt to send it (to a known working mobile phone) it attempts to go but comes back a few seconds later with a dialigue box saying 'Your text message cannot be sent'. I have sent a message to it from another phone and it receives OK, if I try to reply it just comes back with the same message 'Your text message cannot be sent'.
I upgraded to the RISidoro 2.26 ROM - is it possible this is the problem?

Panic over..... It was an error in the number for "Voice Mail and Text Messages" Service under the phone settings.....

i'll send a text to someone, then for some reason. they will get the same text like 4 times. why is my phone keep sending the text? even a few hours or days?

hey bigpat, the issue is with the Cody SMS threaded messaging. Just upgrade your ROM and use the new built-in threaded messaging with WM6.1
I use the built-in text message program in WM6.1 and I get the same issue. Once in a while, I will get the "Message was not sent. Try again?" message. Of course I click it because I want the message to eventually go through, but the receiver will end up getting multiple messages.
The towers also much acknowledge a message is being sent or receive and then respond back with an acknoledgement. Until this is all complete and if you keep clicking resend. It may resend everything over and over.
My phones having the issue with receiving them. The phone receives a message sends back the ok, but never receives it back to the phone. This then causes the original message to continue to be pushed until it gets a response to allow the newer messages to come. Very frustrating.

I've searched but found nothing,, since I Flashed to Touch IT I'm no longer able to send SMS messages.. I can receive them but not send them..
After I press send I wait about 5 seconds to get an error 'Your text message can not be sent' when I press OK the status bar at the bottom of the screen says 'error synchronizing'. Can anyone help me with a fix?
(since installing Touch IT the activesync is always on.. anything to do with ?)

Can anyone offer any advise or clues ?
As before, I can send recieve email, but can only recieve sms.. when I try to send an SMS I get an error 'Your text message can not be sent' and the message is moved to the outbox..

Hey Guys, hey. I've been sending txt messages all day, but all of a sudden I now get this notification when trying to send: "Your text message cannot be sent". Then a underlined red link appears in the text window that says "Message was not sent, try again?". When I click it, it tries to send, but with the same results. Has anyone seen this? Can you please help me? Thanks!

Same problem wiht HD I got from UK and use in Israel. Can't send SMS
Blackstone. Can't send SMS but still can receive.
I checked setting, checked with carrier (I use cellcom) everything seems to be fine, just does not send and it was fine couple days ago.
When I send sms messages, sometimesI get the "your text message cannot be sent" error message popup. This usually occurs when I try send a message at the same time as one is being received. However, it does occur randomly at other times.
There is usually a delay before the error message appears and the notification is not very loud thus I usually don't realize this has happened.
Only when I check my phone do I see the popup. The problem is that when this popup is shown, no incoming messages can be received and any outgoing messages are also prevented from being sent. So I press <ok> on the screen and a flood of messages that had been prevented from delivery suddenly stream in.
Any suggestions on how to either disable the popup, or alternatively let messages through while the popup is displayed.

I got my MDA yesterday and its pretty confusing for me. I can't get text messages to work for the life of me. I can receive them perfectly fine, but alas, I can not send any. I'm always met with a "Cannot Send Text Message" error pop-up, and its starting to annoy me. I was only able to send a text message twice. Once when I first charged the phone and tried to send a message for the first time, and once after I did a soft reset. It let me send one message, but not anymore.
What the heck do I do?
