Different wallpaper in each TF3D tab... - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV Themes and Apps

I've searched and searched... is it possible to have "different" background wallpapers in "each" TF3D tab???

Different for each tab I don't think it's possible. From what I understood, only the Home wallpaper can be different from the rest.

This is correct as i believe the same manila file is used as the background for all the other tabs, not individual manila files

i think their might be a way..SHOWACO might be the person who you can ask..he mentioned if people where interested on different wallpapers for each tab for his next theme.

Use Manilla HD.
It changes the wallpaper in all tabs

No, not right now...
I would like that too... maybe not for every tab...
but one background for Home tab (like standard)
and a different for all other tabs...
the only background for other tabs are mun_rus Mod...
maybe if we ask him nicely he will make this happen for in future releases?
do you know the manila file for the bricks in the background? I have seen in several themes like Wild West etc that this can be changed?

wallpaper per tab

I can only seem to change the home tab wallpaper, and the lock screen one. I've looked and searched through forum and perhaps I'm just not using the right words when I search, but I'm trying to find a way to give each tab it's own wall paper. What am I missing? Is there a cab file somewhere? Or am I just being that dumb and not seeing some obvious setting?
I've had my htc hd2 for only a week and a half roughly, so I'm still getting used to it.
Thanks.
As far as I'm aware, there's not currently a way to set different wallpaper for each tab. The options are to have wallpaper on the home tab, with the grey background for the rest of them, or to have the same wallpaper on all tabs.
Obviously the latter is the more popular choice.

Missed call link/icon?

I was wondering if there was any way of making a 'missed calls' icon/link so that I could use it on my home screen?
Any ideas?

Hi there,
yes, there are various ways to do this. You could install either Dafunk's or DJCedric's graphic notifications mods to achieve this.
Regards.
MaxManila will work (heavy, but a lot of customization possible). Cookie's Home Tab can also do it (and it's much lighter)

Aren't those for MaxManila and Sense 2.5 only?

Yes, that's correct. You will need to have the relevant Max Manilla version installed to use Dafunk2's mod, and MaxTTM to use DJCedric's with sense 2.5.
Cookie HomeTab here I come...
Thanks

manila is what you are looking at when you run your phone normally. (Also known as HTC sense)
Co0kies hometabs makes manila into something it should have been from the start, (but then what would co0kie do for fun if it worked right from the start? huh? huh?)
There is also Max Manila, which is kinda like co0kies, in that it makes standard manila better.
You CANNOT have co0kies and max installed at the same time.

How to do away with animated clouds on stock rom (2.13)?

Im curious how to remove the animated clouds on the stock rom (2.13.xxxx)
I have everything setup the way I like and just cant figure this out.
Thanks in advance!
I was able to finally accomplish this with Cookies Home Tab Editor. I'm relatively sure it was that and not HDWalls.

Yes, CHTE has the option for that (not HDW)...it's a quicklink you can add once you have that installed.
There's also a registry edit that will do the same thing, but I don't happen to have it handy...just search on here for "disable fullscreen weather"

Got it with CHT, THanks!
without cht can use
HKCU/software/HTC/manila
Find the reg entry Home.WallpaperMode
set it to
0 for animated weather
1 for animated wallpaper
2 for plain (no weather)

Yup, that's the one! Thanks Sam...I'm actually going to save it this time
hehe, had to trawl through the registry for the key name and then search xda to find the info from last time.
You can also just select animated wallpaper instead of weather wallpaper, and then just choose the wallpaper you want, whether animated or not. Just another method for stock ROMs w/o CHT, or using the registry.
What about removing the weather in the flip clock?

CHT/CHTE will allow you to choose clocks that don't have the weather, but only certain types that are built that way...you can't just "remove" the weather from the regular ones.
