Hi,
can anyboby tell me how to stop every minute beep sound during calling?
I can not find any way how to stop it.
Thanks a lot.
um really surprised
i've been using my jade for a year now and its my 1st time to hear about a minute beeper on jade !!
check if its an optional function by ur service provider
I agree: It must be a function of the network, IMO.
may be it is a Jade Clone....

My device is O2 Mini S. Sometimes it just goes dead and nobody can call me. The funny thing is that I can call and the signal bar is in good condition. When I restart the device, signal bar goes dead too for some time and I just can't establish connection to the service provider any more. After some time it just appears to be ok and I can call again. Even incomming calls work. WTF??!? Is it something wrong with device or my service provider? It's actually very annoying that nobody can get in touch with me when i REALLY need to...

Sounds like a device issue more than service. Have you contacted O2 to complain about it as it may be that the XDA needs replacing. I know my Nokia started doing something similar and would lose network for no reason even while my partners' phone (also Nokia on O2) was fine and had a full signal strength.
Try setting the network manually rather than automatic, i seem to get better signal this way.

Thanks, this seem to have worked. Haven't got any missed call in 4 days... However, this is very odd, why does it happen with automatic network detection?
losing connection, no calls, no sms
i have had the same problems,
manual network selection works.
also take a look at the preferred networks list !
in my case a natwork, i have no access to was selected.
have a nice day

Hi Guys,
I am a newbie.
Well i recently got my O2 Mini S.It has thge same problem.Evn when i am on the network and the network bar shows full range,i get missed call alerts.Should i upgrade the ROM?
Is there any other soultion ?
As kevoefc said I have set the network to Manual.Hope that works !!
i added a Cellular Signal Enhancer to my phone it gave me 1-2 bars in areas where i get zero
i know im not the only person that keeps missing calls, i have alot of friends call me and they say the calls go through but im dont recieve them, 4 calls and out of 4 i recieve prolly 2....is there a fix for this? or its a windows problem or is it sprints mogul problem?
yeah i have the same problem, but i think it's because of the way i have it configured with a bunch of little bells and whistles
I believe if you call your Mobile Wireless Provider and ask them the change the number of rings before going to Voicemail ie, instead 3 rings to 5 rings you may catch more of your phone calls altho it doesn't speed up your phone but give your phone more time to turn on and ring.
or you can change it yourself

I dont think you can. I assume what he is talking about is the time it takes the cellular system to decide your phone is not on the network and roll it to vm.
I am using my Touch Dual for one week now and i must say i really enjoy it.
However I had a problem that while calling sometimes my phone would just end the call.
First of all i thougth that my ear was pressing the screen, casuing it to end the conversation so i installed slideactions, and slide to unlock.
Tonight i had a phone conversation and it end the call 4 (!?) times!
After the first time it stopped the conversation i made sure my ear was not touching the screen but still it stopped the call.
Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this? I really like the phone but i absolutely hate it that it quits my calls alot!
Kind regards,
Montezume

d'you live in holland?
Cause they are terrible! Especially where I live.
My provider is Hi.
I use Nodata to turn of all the other connections, how can you turn of the 3g mode?
go to start>settings>phone>band>and select gsm mode
hope it works!
Might be a stupid question but what is the difference between 3g and Gsm?
I never use any internet connection so there is no need to have 3g turned on, or does it also have affect on normal calls?
3G is for fast data connection, and videocalling.
So if you use neither of them, it's best to just use gsm.
3G has less coverage than gsm, and more important: i't reduces battery life greatly

Cool, thanks for the explanation.
i changed my network type from auto to GSM.
can i just leave the GSM/UMTS-band option on auto?
I also have experienced this problem here in Australia. Very annoying, and even more so its wasting my credit!
Hi guys, when i recieve or make a call, the GPRS connection drops off and im not able to browse or get emails during calls :confused :.. i was using a nokia N8 before n i was able to do the same on N8.. is there a patch or tweak that i can make to get the GPRS running while on call... never mind the battery drains .. it would be great if anyone could help me or give info on the same.. thanx in advance
These phones have only one channel and hence either voice or data can be active at a time. You cannot use GRPS and voice at the same time
well thats a bit dissapointing..but i can live with that i guess..
Oh! I never knew that limitation with i9003.
These so called smartphone seems too dumb in certain areas.
It is same even on iPhone

Even I use internet grps 2g & receive calls have never tried using internet & making a call too at the same time. May be there is some limitation not sure about this.
hmm...have you tried browsing while on a call?
The thing is that u can recieve the calls even when on gprs 2g but it seems the connection gets cut off while on a call, but there is no issue of not recieving a call..

falex007 .. i dont think there should be a problem like that.. i tether the gprs with my pc through kies and i do recieve calls while its tethered..
The problem is not with the phone, its the way 2G works. It works on a single channel for GPRS and voice. SMS is on diff channel.
That is why we hv 3G!!!

Agree with you even I felt the same.
Hi, yesterday arrived my Nexus 4 16 GB - De , bought from ebay.
The phone was brand new . Never used
From the first call, after initial configuration, i have found a problem.
Phone call start correctly but after about 1 min of conversation , the receiver listen mute, does not hear my voice.
after this, i close call and recall: at this point the receiver listen to my voice but i don't hear never. And phone doesn't work until a reboot.
I've change sim, restore, unlock, root ,wipe, install cyanogenmod 10.1 but the problem still there.
The system sounds work correctly , video ang games sound are good.
Only calls are impossibile.
For make 1 minute call i need to reboot every time
I hope to solve this issue whitout warranty because in my country the nexus 4 it's not marketable and i've bought from ebay user.
I have updated to 4.2.1
Every other functionality work flawlessly
Thx for help and sorry for my bad english
Have you tried different APN setting? Perhaps try a search for your cell provider, and see if anyone else found different APN settings that work better for your cell network.
Kj
Yes. I tried different apn and the problem still There .
Data connection work well . i think apn it' s only for data not for phone calls
Suggestions ?
