For some reason I have this SPB Menu located on the lower right. The only thing I have installed is the X1 SPB Panel from Sony Ericsson site.
When I click on that SPB Menu, it shows the error 'MenuLauncher.exe'.
Can someone show me how to get rid of that on the screen?

That button shows up when you install the regular spb mobile shell...I don't know why it got there but try uninstalling the panel to see if it goes away, then reinstall it?

HELP!
I wrongly, stupidl, foolishly installed the intellidialer on my Himalaya... how do you get rid of it? all I have is malfunctioning screens and funny looking Phone...
Phil.
have you tried in remove programs in settings ?
have you tried add/remove programs in activesync on the pc ?
Think this is called crossposting . . .
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?p=72061#72061
Rudegar: Intellidialer is by default installed as an Customisation Tool, with the Instl flag in the registry set to '0' and thus cant be un-installed (by default!). Therefore I created a un-installable Intelldialer. I like to keep control on whats on my device and what isnt.
did u try the programme called Remove?
i have one but that is in chinese!
this programm can Uninstall intellidialer on ur Himalaya!
in this programm u can find the intellidialer in installed programm´s window, but it named Customization Tools.
an u can just uninstall it simply!
like I said, just setting 1 value in the registry does the trick
No special program for that.
Besides: In case you installed another Customisation Tool (ALL operator spcific customisations are named Customisation Tool no program can help you . . .(nor can my trick)
here is the pics
u can´t find itellidialer in installed software with win mobile 2003
but u can with remove find and uninstall the itellidialer!
just like the pics
with win ce

I think that looks bad and I'd rather have somethig that looks like one of the pics in the thread below
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=13515
I've installed the files from that thread but they don't seem to make a difference to the "Phone" application.
That's my experience too, the phone skin seems to be stuck. I've got the standard QTEK phone skin, which looks okay, but the buttons are the wrong shape which you can see when you press them and see the real button behind.
Did you try to install the IntelliDialer from a QTEK extended ROM ? It might solve the button problem.
check out these dialer skins http://www.ppc-club.com/categ.php?id=18

kewl link....was able to insall the phone skins but could'nt install skins for windows media player the format uploaded there is .msk any idea how to install these skins over windows media player....
thanks
regards
jeetz
The dialler skins are easy to use. You need to install a psk file installer to your device and then choose the skin you want to use.
The media player msk files need a different program to be installed, I can't remember the name and the company is offline at the moment.
Meanwhile, feel welcome to grab some more phone skins from my site. Bear in mind, these do not work in landscape mode.
Cheers
ugghhhh anyone else who know how to install .msk ???

Instead of installing yet another program, you could also go to your device settings - buttons - and map one of your buttons to the "Start Menu" command.
The (while still in device settings, go to "Menu" and designate those specific applications you just mentioned to appear on your start menu (I think you can specify max 7).
That would allow you finger access to those apps without adding another prog and also remember that the more stuff you add to today screen it eats up your battery.
cLaunch is much nicer looking than you think
The program is very customizable
Craig, this is my setup using claunch and a number of my hacks.

I believe you can't customize Mobile Shell with Pocket Plus icons but if you find out how, i would love to know!
Thanx! I'll try it out, and see if it works

Im not too sure about what you mean by customize?? Do you mean edit your very own icons? You really cant edit the icons because you need to decode the dat files.
Those icons need to be installed for Mobile shell in order for them to be used by SPB softwares. They were purchased from SPB company. It is one of their release of customize mobile shell. If this is what you ask.

Have the looked at the spb mobile shell 2.1 theme thread
Finding it hard getting effective instructions how to change skins on SPB Mobile Shell 2.1
I've downloaded files and been instructed "to replace files in the SPB folder on the device and then perform hard reset"
This has the effect of producing a kind of hybrid between the default and what I'm trying to install.
I presume this is because some files are left over from the previous skin.
If anybody knows of any good tutorials or can help I'd appreciate it. I know I might get bombarded with "use the search" and such like but I've spent what seems like most of my life since I got my Touch Diamond on this forum.
I really need to stay away.....customising this machine is addictive.
Try this one and let me know.

Thanks for the reply but no good unfortunately. Generally buggy, skins installed result in overlaps (clock over calendar, calendar under sms/mms etc)
Poor quality icons, no preview of what you are selecting in the numerous customisation options.Bit of a mess really.
I can't help you with a tutorial, but I know there is a dedicated thread in the "General" section of this forum. Also, the SPB Cub forum has very much covered about this topic.
You just import the .dat into the SPB Mobile Shell directory, and that's all you have to do. Also, make sure the theme is for VGA device and not QVGA device, that would cause your theme to overlap and all kind of mess.
Here's mine screen and everything look just fine.
