Hi, I replace the LCD of my HW6915 and now the backlight function don't work...
The LCD is "out of light" and the sistem is on the maximum backlight.
There are any for fix this problem??
In the past I don't know if the problem was on the IPAQ, I bought it with broken screen

most probably the lcd cable is loose .you can put a tape on the connector to make it firm.

i have the wizard and the screen broke the LCD display is intact no bleeding and displays everything fine but the backlight doesn't work...Do i just replace the touchscreen or the whole LCD unit for the backlight to work?

Are you sure the backlight is broken? There have been several software conflicts that turn the backlight off.
Otherwise I don't know, but there is an HTC disassembly manual on the board somewhere.
no i checked everything and the backlight was working before the touchscreen broke and stopped right after....does the touchscreen have anything to do with the backlight?
I have changed the screen of my qtek 2020 as the touch has stopped working, but now the pda has no sound (only through earphone) and no backlight

who changed your touchscreen? there are 2 springs on the board that connect to the speaker, probably it's not connect
some fat bloke did it

there's a picture about the speaker spring, as for the backlight try to re-attach, i got my backlight by doing this & i retaped the ribbon cable using usual tape.

Ok the thing is that i bout an qtek 9100 with broken LCD Display and no touch and i changed the lcd from an imate jamin/O2 xda neo, now the problem is that when i turn on the phone the screen shows lots of thin lines in color's but when i put the broken lcd it works any solution or idea to solve this problem.

Hi. I had changed the LCD to my HTC touch HD blackstone Italian TIM brand. I turn on the phone, display backlight turn on but the LCD is black. I know that the phone works because old display worked. (I had to broken old display trying to change the broken touch on the LCD......they use the glue to make phone....). Somebody could help me please? tnx
