8525 video sound delay

I know this question may have been asked already but I couldnt find any specific topic from it. I did install the tcpmp player and ive change some of the video and audio settings but they seem to have no effect; theres a sound delay when I play a wmv, I try the "pause and play" but it doesnt work either.
Ill appreciate any help or if you can point me towards a topic where this was discussed before.

Problems installing the TCPMP Player

I have installed and uninstalled this player a thousand times...Once I install it and try to run it..I get an error " Unexpected program failure. Please send crash.txt" to the developers. Programs will now exit.
Pls help...I have installed the Flashbundle and still no luck.
What do I do???
I have the same problem.. And I don't get it.. Trying another way to find it..
Anything I get, I'll post it...
There is a big thread on this in the Titan upgrades section as this has been a problem since 6.1 came out.
TRY HERE
True.. Thanx...
I tryied first file, and works really good...
Thanx again..
Thanks for the reply, however, I was able to get further, but when the video tries to play in window media I get that an 'exceptinal error has occurred.'
do u know of a fix for this?
Post what ROM you are using and what file type you are trying to play. WMP has different codecs and is totally different from TCPMP. A few of the newer ROMS seemed to have missing codecs for WMP. Search for "all codecs cab" and you should be able to find it here or in the development section.
Coreplayer is a much better solution than TCPMP. I found TCPMP to stutter often (with nothing else taking up memory in the background). Coreplayer runs flawlessly!
Where do I get coreplayer..or can you post the link?
First hit on google:
http://www.coreplayer.com/
You can always find the serial number on torrent sites...not that I condone that or anything ;P

Flv video support?

Hello
I have a lot of flv files that I have downloaded from Youtube. Does anyone know if they can be played with the HD2? I read somewhere that it is not possible, but I hope they were wrong.
Core player
Ok, thanks. I will check it out.
I think CorePlayer handles .flv videos, although I wouldn't swear to it. I don't know if TCPMP does - it's worth checking. You might also be able to convert them into a format that the HD2 can handle. Previous post on the subject here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4940625&postcount=31

Good FLV player?

Hi
I have searched and RTFW.....but maybe I missed it somewhere.
Looking for a good player that will play FLV's on our device. Have tried youtubeplayer but I find that the timeline bar doesn't work so you can't fast forward through a vid.
Also it doesn't play all the FLV's I have.
Has anyone got any better solutions? I have tried TCPMP player with source forge FLV codec but it keeps crashing out :-(
Thanks and appreciate any help!
was gonna say tcpmp but you nixed that
Can you not convert flv into a nicer format?
I've found FLVs sometimes dont even work on desktop flvplayer for seeking or resizing - and that's down to the FLV file. only way to fix them is to play them through, or rebuild the stream....or convert to another better format.
I just think there are many crappy .flv files out there with lazy web-players.
If you are using a tool like dwhelper then get it to auto-convert on download to a sane format.
No issue for me with this TCPMP version - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=634951
