I know this question may have been asked already but I couldnt find any specific topic from it. I did install the tcpmp player and ive change some of the video and audio settings but they seem to have no effect; theres a sound delay when I play a wmv, I try the "pause and play" but it doesnt work either.
Ill appreciate any help or if you can point me towards a topic where this was discussed before.

When I take a video on the tytn and try to play it through media player I get the message "No combination of intermediate filters could be found to make the connection." The video is set to store on the micro sd card. Anyone had a similar problem or know what the problem is.
Thanks
maybe it's not compatible ? if you're trying to play it on the tytn try opening it with tcpmp has more codecs,
http://tcpmp.corecodec.org/download
I cant see how its not compatable its the built in video player. It would be silly to have a video camera that couldnt play back its own recordings. Is there any way to reinstall the media player without doing a hard reset.
sorry I misunderstood, did you record it with the tytn video recorder or with a third party software ? if it's with the tytn video recorder it should work regardless of it's location,
go to \Storage Card\WMDRM and delete the file in there and try again, like I said if you used third party software like coolcamera wmplayer won't be able to play it back.
I am using the tytn video recorder no third party software is involved thats why its pissing me off so much. Thanks for the suggestion m8 but it didnt work. In fact not much works on this bloody phone. Almost every part has had a problem from screen allignment to bluetooth, this phone was not ready for release. I have search the problem (No combination of intermediate filters could be found to make the connection) on google and it dose'nt seem to be a media player problem only but a general video problem, but as yet I could'nt find the answer.
A hard reset sorted the problem.
good to hear you got it working
Hi there. I'm sure someone has asked this question before now but I've done a search and had a look through the threads but couldn't find anything, so forgive me if I'm repeating something that's already been covered.
I've just got my HD2 but when I came to test the video quality the file I've put onto the device is of really poor quality and practically unwatchable. What am I doing wrong? I'm using Windows Media Player to sync the video onto my HD2 and the original file is an .avi. Is it something I have to change in Windows Media Player Sync settings? I've synced the same file twice now and twice I've got the same result: Windows Media Player says it has converted the file and synced it with my HD2 but the video on the device is terrible quality. I know it's not the phone itself because the video which came with the phone plays fine, in fact it's absolutely crystal clear and laser sharp.
Can someone help a dunce out please?
Thanks in advance, I'm sure the solution is going to be painfully obvious but I'm an idiot.

Yes maybe because there is already a thread about video encoding, simple search could help some time to find what you looking for.

bump bump bump bump
BUMPING AND REBUMPING THE THREAD WILL GET IT IGNORED!
you need to provide more information!
STOCK PLAYER or other application! (the one that comes with it or an app)
have you tried an application to play both just incase its the music or video thats at fault here!
Do the tracks or videos that come pre installed work!?
you dont state what type of music you are trying to play either!? MP3/MP4 what!?
you dont state what video your trying either 3GP or MP4 or what the specs of the video is what bitrate what aspect what size/dimensions etc etc!
with very little info provided the rebumping will get you no where!
You couldn't have just continued to update the other thread that you already made about this issue?
Welcome wisdom,
I am new here, though i used other forum before but i couldnt find any solutions, This forum here seems like the best source of tips for my sgs.
Well...the problem appears when I try to rewind some of my mkv movies, the player (i tried stock, mvideo player and mobo ) just freezes when i try to rewind,
then i have to wait 1-3 minutes until i have the triple vibration and error appears asking whether i want to force close, wait or report. I hit wait and then it plays normally and i can rewind freely then. I know, 3 minutes isn't that long but it is very frustrating and disallows me from fully enjoying my movies. Do you know what is the cause? maybe there is some player that doesnt do that, maybe theres some remedy for that, or the converter sucks? i used AVS video converter.
i am looking forward to your responses

and BTW..problem solved, solution: use other player like RockPlayer
Hi im hoping anyone can help out with a problem..
I have put a couple of Anime MKV files on to test out how it looks... but i cant for the life of me work out how to switch from the default audio track (japanese) to the dubbed english audio track?
i cant seem to find any option to do this in either the standard video player... or also in the Dice player i downloaded to see if that could do it..
Any ideas?? or can anyone reccomend another player that offers audio track choice? its either that or im gonna have to learn japanese
Hi!
I'm in the same boat as you, as I have some Anime .MKVs with multiple audio tracks.
I found this player:
QQPlayer - com.tencent.research.drop (search for the name or packagename on the marketplace, I'd post the direct link, but I don't have enough posts yet to be able to post links.)
and can really recommend it.
You can easiely choose between the audiotracks (hit the menubutton during playback to get the dubs-/subsselection menu), it supports all sorts of subtitles and played everything I threw at it flawlessly so far.
Hope it works as well for you as it does for me
if you use diceplayer, check menu key -> settings -> select audio track .
you can chose mkv audio track.
