Hello. I'm the proud owner of an XDA2 and i'm quite happy with it!! Could someone tell me how to set the settings in order to be able to take advantage of my unlimited wapGPRS option (6€/month) at BouyguesTelecom (french network). after having carefuly looked at the instruction manual supplied with the qtek2020, it must be possible. I would like to keep this option instead of switching to the 6€/month 5Meg GPRS option or the 10 Meg as the prices are out of this world and the allocated volume very easyly exceeded. Thanking you all in advance, i remain;
Arnaud
Salut les frenchies chez Bouygues !! Ce n'est certes pas le plus mauvais opérateur de notre glorieux pays.
i like pretty much speaking into the desert, so i reply to my own question in order to help out other subscribers of the same french mobilephone entwork
Using EZWAP and the data GPRS subscription one is able to navigate on secured wap servers; I will try to have my account reseted to unlimited Multimedia subscription and will see if it still works. One strange thing i never get BouyguesTelecom's own web portal.
To be continued and thankyou all for not trying to help me in either way!!
Arnaud
hallo

Hi,
Basically, I can't receive MMS with Vodafone. I ran the Network Wizard and everything seems to work except the MMS!!! Anyone had the same problem?
Cheers
I cannot even send sms...
I can receive but not send.
Any ideas much appreciated
I have the same problemen with receiving mail.
Adding to this issue, sometimes I can't connect to the internet through the Vodafone network. Is Vodafone coverage good? Do they have problems in the past 1/2 days?
Cheers
I just take Vodafone but they made a mistake. Have to break the contract, send the HD2 back and take a new contract. And wait for numbertransfer for around 2 weeks from the old provider T-mobile.
If I read this, I doubt to take Vodafone

You also had connectivity problems with Vodafone on your HD2?
I have vodafone for a long time. I had a HD1 and now i have a hd2. With both telephone dont have problems with the internet from vodafone. With the HD1 I had problems with mms. Only thing I always do after a hard reset, i to disable use proxy by connection settings. The setting which were send by vodafone dont working. So i went to the site and look for the settings for mms when you want to do i manually. On that moment you couldnt search for HD so i went for another HTC. Looks to me settings will be the same. After do this manually mms was working on hd1. I think it will work for HD2 also, but not try it on this moment

And the internet, works without any problem? Because I've the following behaviour:
Accessing the internet through a browser, doesn't always work. Sometimes I can access and some others it simply doesn't access;
Try to send/receive emails using the email client doesn't work at all. Never managed to do it.
When trying to update the weather, it works most of the times.
Updating the twitter usually fails.
For what I understood, you don't have this problems, am I right?
Regarding to the MMS problem: it's solved. Went to the website and followed the instructions for the HTC HD. Thanks henv.
Now, only the internet is giving problems...

Accessing the internet through a browser, doesn't always work. Sometimes I can access and some others it simply doesn't access -> Working for me al the time.
Try to send/receive emails using the email client doesn't work at all. Never managed to do it. -> Working for me al the time. First time i use it (after hard reset) i go to windows email and not htc, because there is a pop up about a certifcate. I accept that and after that no problems with mail
When trying to update the weather, it works most of the times -> Works for me
Updating the twitter usually fails. -> I dont use this
I think you must go to htc menu settings, menu (right corner) all settings, connections, connections, manage existing connections, tab proxy settings, Disable "This network uses a proxy server to connect to internet".
