Orange TV Player -> sound and only a black screen - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV Themes and Apps

Hi !
I get a problem with Orange TV Player 2.0.42 :
When I want to watch TV, I only get the sound and no image.
The screen remains black.
I changed the user-agent of both MSIE and Opera, runned the lockstream.cab I found somewhere on this forum and so on...
Has somebody had the same problem before ?
If so, what is the solution if there is one ?
(sorry for my bad english, I'm french )

Hi
I have the same problem, audio but no video. I installed Orange_TVplayer_2.0.72R1.cab.
but when i use the orange tv web link, it's ok.

Hey guys, i'm having the same problem. I'm Using a the morna 1.8 rom and the Orange_TVplayer_2.0.72R1.CAB player version.
Have you found a solution?

Looking for Polaris' original FRENCH ORANGE ROM

Hi all,
After a research on the forum, I didn't found any links for the original french orange ROM for polaris cruise.
Can anybody help me?
I want to use Orange TV on without playing with register and user agent at every hard reset. Thanks.
Cheers,
Make an up . Anyone?
use kaiser tweak to change user agent safely.
I'm using bepe 0.67 premium, no problem with orange tv. The htc streaming player works better than pvplayer included on orange rom. Also, if you are in edge coverage, you must use pvplayer to watch videos on news section (the only exception).
Thanks I have found it in an other forum.
If anyone is interested I can link...
Thanks
I'll be very happy to have this link ...

I've got the opposit problem. I have them but I do NOT want to have them on!
Anyway you should use ROM 1.93.408.3 ITA with Radio 1.00.25.05 and protocol 52.29.25.12H That's all. You find what you need on it

Streaming Media Player for Ignito

I have been trying to track it down so I can get the iPlayer working, but every file I install I get a message stating that there arent correct certificates of files are missing.
But it also said that before I had tried to install it.
Anyone got any ideas on where I can get the HTC Streaming Media Player that will install on the XDA Ignito ROM?
in the same boat, im not at the state where i want to update my rom, the stock one seems stable.
i'd love to get this working though
I've got the same problem i wonder if O2 are blocking the streaming media app. Seams odd as its on the Orbit 2.

my other phone is the orbit 2, on the stock rom streaming media does not work. update the rom it does. it's either a settings issue or the software itself
I like the o2 ROM, so I don't really want to flash it, but I am really running out of ideas.
I've tried installing Streaming Media from a link on here about the Trinity, but I got the same message, I've tried running app unlocks with no joy. What have o2 done to this ROM?
just realised, im missing the app entirely!
it aint on the ignito rom at all
can anyone add a link for the diamond streaming media app
thanks in advance
chris

Not really relevant in this thread, I really want to know if anyone has managed to getting it working on an Ignito.
I think I might just have to flash it. But I think I will switch to the official HTC ROM.
I know the app is not on the ROM, but it is strange that I get the same message when I'm trying to stream straight off the iPlayer site or when I have installed the app and trying to run it from programs.
this vearios installs correctly, but won't connect via the network whan you try to stream. think this is a settings issue on the o2 uk rom, had this problem with stock o2 uk roms on other devices, hope it helps and if anyone gets it working please post?
Chris
I installed it, failed to find network, but it is a step further then I have got before. Not sure what would cause the error.
I will play with some settings and see what I can find out.

Where do you get PVPlayer, also, how do you make Opera recognise PVPlayer as the default streaming application, whenever I try and install a different streaming media player, it still tries to open the HTC Streaming Media player, even if I uninstall it! I've tried changing as many registry entries as I can find, but must still be missing something.

Vodafone UK youtube problem

Hi,
My workmate has a problem. From yesterday he cannot play movies from youtube using built-in youtube player. Players starts normally, you can see thumbnails, but when you choose a file you get a message : Cannot play this video (or sth like this). Yesterday and day before and before and ... everything was ok !
He has unlocked HD2 (originally from o2) using Vodafone SIMcard
3G connection working properly (tested on Opera, Palringo, OpnMarket, Facebook etc ....)
Youtube player working (100% PROPERLY) on WiFi !
I have tested on several different ROMs (stock 1.66 WWE, stock 1.48 WWE, Artemis, CleanEx ).
Youtube player cache cleared
In my opinion Vodafone UK is making some changes over youtube (don`t know what, don`t know how). Found some topics from 2009, when few ppl were talking about something simillar (some other HTC phones), but eventually problem solved itself after few days.
Do you have any clues/solutions ??
In the name of my mate (who doesn`t speak english) big big thank you !
Kris
I installed the new youtube app from google yesterday, it "updates" the Vida inbuilt version (now as the voda version was in rom it probably didn't replace it, but the lonks update to the new version).
this works fine on the voda HD2 and the new version I think is slightly better.
m.youtube.co/app from your mobile browser
Will pass this answer to him asking if it helped and let you know as soon as possible, thank you.
EDIT : Getting message : Device Not Supported

[Q] Ligue 1 player on HD2 WP7

Hello,
I don't know if someone has the same problem, but i can't use the app Ligue 1.
I mean i can read the text but i can't watch any video, it says that my phone can't do the job.
I don't know why but on WinMo i do not have this problem..
I thought that it was a problem of useragent but i do not find any way to change it.
I add that i can use the TV app with no problem!
Thanks for help.
