Hello,
I don't know if someone has the same problem, but i can't use the app Ligue 1.
I mean i can read the text but i can't watch any video, it says that my phone can't do the job.
I don't know why but on WinMo i do not have this problem..
I thought that it was a problem of useragent but i do not find any way to change it.
I add that i can use the TV app with no problem!
Thanks for help.

I've got the opposit problem. I have them but I do NOT want to have them on!
Anyway you should use ROM 1.93.408.3 ITA with Radio 1.00.25.05 and protocol 52.29.25.12H That's all. You find what you need on it
Hello everyone, first of all, sorry if i'm not very clear in what i'm gonna write below but i'm french, please forgive me.
To go back on the main subject, i'd like to buy a phone within 2months and i've been reading threads here & there, but i'm kinda looking for a phone that is able to read streaming video (other than youtube).
I was gonna get Samsung i900 or HTC Diamond but Diamond only has 4GB which is kinda of low for what use i'd like to make of it.
So my question is : Is it possible nowaday for any of them to read streaming video ? If so, which one and how ?
If not, is there any Samsung/Htc-like that is able to ?
Thanks for your answers,
Cubia.
The Kaiser / TyTn II has flawless streaming media playback. Works well with youtube, hulu, liveleak, break etc..

i wouldn't say flawless, but pretty damn good for a mobile phone. just about any phone with an internet connection can stream video pretty well though with skyfire (an internet browser) their are programs also.... obviously higher speed internet the better though.
i personally own a kaiser and highly recommend it.
Thanks guys for your advice, but what is exactly a Kaiser ? is it HTC ?

I heard of skyfire but is it possible to install it on any phone that has an internet connection ?
Guess i'll have to change my mind since samsung i900 & HTC Diamond probably won't be able to provide what i'm looking for.
Thanks again,
Cubia.

Yeah, HTC make the kaiser, also known as TyTnII and ATT Tilt.
Great phone. Slide out keyboard, okay battery life, heaps of software available.
Skyfire is currently invite only testing, and has a few 'security' concerns that dissuade me from using it. The latest Opera Mobile 9.5 builds run pretty sweet - comparable to iphone (plus flash works)
I want to buy this device but i've some questions:
Does the browser support flash content like youtube .flv or .swf animations?
Does The SenseUI and the rest of software work in landscape?
Is there a GPS Navigation software available for Android?
Will be released an Android 2.0 upgrade from HTC?
Bluetooth bug and Alarm bug can be fixed?
tnx all and sorry for my bad english..
Does the browser support flash content like youtube .flv or .swf animations?
.flv works but little jumpy, you can use the youtube app, or there is a very good browser called 'Dolphin Browser' that allows .flv to be downloaded to yoru phone as a .mp4 file. cannot tell you about .swf
Does The SenseUI and the rest of software work in landscape?
Sense UI does not work in landscape mode, everything else does as long as you have the option ticked for auto rotation.
Is there a GPS Navigation software available for Android?
Yes, you can buy Copilot for £22 for 1 map or £54 for all maps, or just as good AndNav2 works great and is freely available. Plus, GMN may be launched in the near future (fingers crossed)
Will be released an Android 2.0 upgrade from HTC?
?? Who knows? I woudl imagine at some point but I cannot see it being a priority.
Bluetooth bug and Alarm bug can be fixed?
Don't know the bugs you are referring to.
thanks for your reply, wilfmoralee!
The Bugs are:
Alarm doesn't work if the device is in standy by, but i've read also that this issue comes only when the sim isn't plugged..
about the BT, it can't transfer files, i've read this in many sites/forum and also in this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=586700) --> "Doesn't have Bluetooth transfer built in. There's a bluetooth app in the market, but it won't work until 2.0 comes out for the tattoo. Sorry"
Another simple question: can i record a phone conversation in "both sides"? Is there an app or it has an hardware limitation like my Xperia X1 that can only record my voice?
many thanks
i can't find anything in the market that does this, and as far as i know it's not a stock option.
hey
i know the tattoo cant send files over bluetooth but can it receive files over bluetooth?

As ridiculous as it sounds - it cannot.
You can send via bluetooth if u download a app that is called " Bluetooth File Transfer "
It's on the market.

That app is not yet compatible with Tattoo. It needs Eclair to work correctly.
Hope HTC will release the upate soon
Hey!
It's been a month since the last reply in this topic ... any news about those things?
- Blue-tooth problems still there or are already solved (sending/receiving files)?
- GPS Navigation (that doesn't require w-lan connection)?
- upgrading Android 1.6 to 2.1 ... possible?
I would also appreciate your comments about the Tattoo; user experiences - why YES and/or why NO
Bluetooth file transfer will not work. The Bluetooth File Tranfer app does not work with Tattoo on Android 1.6.
I assume most GPS Nav. programs would use EDGE or 3G services rather than WLAN, since you won't be connected to 1 network while you're navigating!
Apparently it's possible, but there has been no documented or official way of doing it AS OF YET.
Why YES to the Tattoo:
It's compact. Good form factor. Affordable for me. Good social networking integration.
Why not:
Bad camera, both for pics and videos. Application compatibility with smaller screen(not all of them work, but most of the apps available on Market work fine). Battery life is less when features like Wi-Fi, mobile internet or GPS is used(as expected from any smartphone).
Can anyone confirm that "hcitool" is working in the terminal? "hcitool dev" should give information about the bluetooth adapter in the telephone. hcitool scan should give bluetooth devices nearby. I need to know this before I order this telephone. Thanks in advance!
"Permission denied"
Thanks, ok this means that root access is required to run hcitool correctly. Did you root your droid?
This is the tattoo forum. Theres no root actually for the tattoo and yes root is required to use this service.

Hi Nick,
I'm guessing you are using the bundled Opera 9.7 to browse these sites?
If so, the Flash 3.1 for Opera (I got it from the X1 forum) seems to work for a lot of the sites on my HD2, but there again, I use Skyfire now anyway.
