My phone wakes up every day at 23:59 (11:59pm)
I have G-alarm installed, but I don't know if this started when I installed it, I have tried to download the latest version but the problem is still there.
Does somebody know what to do?

do you have a backup sheduled??
or memmaid??
No, nothing like that.
Yeah its because you have galarm , i think it refreshes the notifications that are cued up every night at midnight. Nothing to worry about
Ok! Thanks, but is there nothing I can do about it?
It is definitely G-Alarm !
My Phone switches on at 23:59 midnight, too...
But you can configure your energy settings to auto-switch off after 1 minute.

Something is weird for my P3650 from this morning, it never happened before:
When i turn off the display and turn on again, the clock will be adjusted from the time my turning off the display to the recent cerrect time immediately.
I just reinstalled the official ROM and the bepe's 0.58 with SIM or without SIM, but no effect.
Anybody can explain it and help me?
Which clock are you talking about? The large one in HTC Home? If so, mine's been that way since day 1 with the stock ROM. So I don't know if it's normal or not but I assumed it was. Not really a problem though.
I mean the time display @ HTC home or any other themes.
I just confused why it happened first-time this morning, but absolutely never happened before.
Anyway, 10x buddy!

yeah, it's called a Real Time Clock for a reason.
or do you like your clocks to lose time or something?

Course not!
I just hope the time can adjust automatically eventhough the LCD is turning off.
The really reason confused me is why it happened start yesterday, not the 1st day i bought it.
Hi,
I own a Touch, with the ROM version 2.81.110.1.
I have an unusual problem, my alarm is silly... recently the time went back an 1 hour.. I have 3 alarms set every morning, one at 6.35, 7.00 and 7.15! Since ive changed my time an hour back, my alarm goes off 6 times and thats at 5.35, 6.00, 6.15, 6.35, 7.00 and 7.15!
How on earth do i get rid or delete the 5.35, 6.00, 6.15 alarms? I have checked all settings and its clear that ive entered the right times... im so confused!!!!
thanks

Since the weekend when we went back to GMT my alarm goes off 1 hour early, (quite annoying)
All of the clock settings are correct
Then the alarm goes off at the correct time .
Done soft reset etc.
Also when I change the battery the clock goes back to- seemingly the last time the phone went to standby
hope there is a answer

I used MemMaid trial version http://www.dinarsoft.com/memmaid/ to clear the notification queue for windows clock
this seems to have worked , hope I remember next time the clocks go back.
more alarm Problems
as you can see above, i had a problem with the alarm,,which was solved....
But this week I am not going to work ,so I turned off my alarm for M,T W,T,F
at 0515,
But it still goes off , memmaid may clear it this time but i am going to need a permanent fix
I am going to loose sleep over this .........................
I'm using "SPB Time" instead of WM6's alarm...
it's very good...
you can get it from here,
Click
Yeah, Spb Time is great. Alarms count isn't limited, you can create one-time alarms, set ascending ringer etc. You should really try it.
Have anyone noticed that the phone wakes up at midnight?
The backlight goes on even if the phone was in stand by....?
What is a Vampire-Phone?
Will it kill me while I am sleeping???
Does anyone know why???
Thanks

yes i have seen this on my phone. it would drain my battery when i wake up in the morning, (I didn't set the power settings to let it go to sleep).
I cannot say if it is fixed because right now I have the power settings to put it to sleep in 1 minute if nothing's happening, I have also hard resetted my phone since then. but I blieve it was some third party application I installed before.

I have not had any problems with the alarm... have used it almost every day for three weeks now...
... But keep in mind that the alarm does not go off if you turn the device off... (that is a bit annoying, since other SonyEricsson phones support alarm while being turned off!.. However.. just set it to flight-mode instead.. problem solved!)

Are you using a task manager and killing the alarm clock?

If i set it to flight mode overnight how can i receive phone calls. My job involves me being on call on some nights.. So if the display of the phone is off you saying i can not get the alarm to sound off in the morning?

No... That was not what I meant... ofcourse having the phone on (normal, non-flight-mode) works just aswell too!.. I meant, if you usually switch off your phone at night, then the alarm wont go off!.. and instead of switching the phone completely off, one can use flight-mode instead...
Leaving the phone on (either in flight-mode or non-flight-mode) causes my alarm to work as it should.

I also had a similar issue and tracked it down to the Task-killer killing the alarm application. It took me a while to realise that the 'Clock' on my homescreen had also been stopped when using the 'task manager'. I added the clock to the ignore list and everything has worked fine since then...

Nice one cashaw.. this has worked a treat!
For me alarm is working but i don't know how to set up the phone to start the alarm when an event in calendar is about to start
Any ideas?
The alarm on my X10 is not working properly. There is a bug somewhere. On at least three occassions it failed to wake me up in the morning. This morning as well and the last thing I did before going to bed was making sure the alarm function was running. I have now tested the alarm a couple of times by creating new alarms and they all work.
btw: The one not working was set to go off every day at 07:00. It did work the first morning.
Phone: Model x10i, Firmware:1.6, Baseband:1.0.14, Kernel:2.6.26-rel [email protected] #2, Build no.:R1FA014

Did you try to ignore alarm in task killer/manager? Since i did that my alarm works fine and it's set to go off every day at 7 like yours.
Ya had the same problem and task killer was to blame. Would definetly start there.

I accidentally saw an update for "Always on Didplay(AOD)" from the AOD menu and updated it to the latest version. This seem to be fixing the problem with blinking night clock...works cool now!!!!

Thanks for replying. I didnt see any option for an update but it may have done it automatically cause it just stopped dong it. Now with the latest update i have a new issue. When i "clean all" in the smart manager, i get the following pop-up..."Unfortunately smart manager clean sdk has stopped responding" .. i thought these updates are supposed to fix and improve...they lie me thinks ☹
