Hello,
On my elfin, i use to hear all the sounds come through my touch speakers but now all the sounds are coming through my bluetooth headset. All i did was upgrade my ROM. Does anyone know a setting i can change to fix this? to have sounds come through the phone not headset? Thanks
Figured it out, it was a setting in the bluetooth device, unchecked "wireless headset"

I have successfully made my ANYCOM stereo Bluetooth headphones ( http://tuxtops.com/node/464 ) to work wtih my HTC Wizard using the "wireless stereo" instructions that were posted the other day on this forum.
When you set it as "wireless stereo", is it supposed to also switch to handsfree functionality automatically? You see, over here this doesn't happen. The music stops when I get an incoming call, but I don't get the person's voice through my headset. The headset does not switch to handsfree mode.
Is this normal? Or something else is wrong?
I connected to my headset by clicking "set as a wireless stereo". If I also click "set as a handsfree", I don't get any music you see. So, why my headphones don't automatically change mode to handsfree on an incomming call? Anyone else with this problem?
i have the same problem but it doesn't bother me.
but if there is a fix then this would be cool and easier.
A2DP support for HTC Wizard can be obtained by using this hack/tweak: http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?p=275506#275506
didn't try it myself, but has been reported to work on HTC Wizard and other Windows Mobile 5 devices.

Any solution so far?? I will receive my Anycom BSH-100 within the next days...
I don't think there is a solution apart from praying for a new ROM.
it might be a problem with the headset and rom
did you try repairing it?
because i know everything works fine for me using itech stereo
when a call comes in, it switches no problem
Hope someone can help me with my problem (Nothing found on XDA search).
I have a BT620s headset and it works great, both for stereo music and as a handsfree set.
The problem is, if I disconnect the bluetooth or answer a call I always loose the Wireless stereo. Under the BT devices is it still shows as selected but I always have to do a refresh reselect "wireless stereo" and save it again to get it working each time.
Is there something I can do to make it stick ie: registry setting?
Thanks

Hi to All,
i have exactly the same problem. Actually, in my case even an alarm or a reminder switches the A2DP to mono and i am not able to go back to stereo without a soft reset....
Anyone have an idea?
Hi,
I have an aiptek bluewalker HA02 headphone, which is a2dp capable. Unfortunately I cannot pair it as such with my trinity. "connect as stereo" is greyed out.
It only pairs as a normal headset, but of course I cannot use it as stereo headphone for mp3's as it is meant for.
It may work out if I change the device class in the registry manually.
\hkey_local_machine\software\bluetooth\device
If anyone has a working a2dp connection I really would be happy if you could post me the reg-device settings
That is at least the best idea I have, any other ideas are of course welcome.
Thanks upfron for you help!

Hi!
I’ve got the same problem with my Bluewalker BW-MP02.
Does anybody have a solution for that?
Thanks,
Fabian
i am a skype heavy user. To get rid of the original earphone, can we use a separate standalone speaker? will bluetooth speaker work?
I use skype with a bluetooth headset.
I have to enable "stereo headset" in the bluetooth settings though. The bug with this is, it routes all sounds to the headset. So when I'm done using skype I have to go back and uncheck the "stereo headset" option again if I want alarms and such to route to the speakers on the device.
Inconvenient, yes. Still workable? For sure.
Not sure about the bluetooth speaker only thing though. It might be up to the bluetooth device and it's options. I guess the only way to know for sure is to research different bluetooth speakers and ask the manufacturer how it would work with PDA phones (in this case the Athena).

This allows you to switch your audio gateway to BT on/off/toggle.

Currently I'm using Jabra 8010 stereo headset. I really like it, but it has an annoying problem. Whenever the headset is on, it routed ALL the audio into the headset including the phone ring. I missed some call because of this. The only way to solve is the uncheck the Wireless-headset option in the Bluetooth setting. But it's a pain in the *ss to do ComMan > Bluetooth setting > uncheck wireless headset > Finish whenever I wanna to listen to music. And when I don't want to listen to music I have to reverse all those steps. Does anyone know of a program to switch or turn ON/OFF wireless-headset when you're on Today screen? help me please and thank you in advance.
try bluemusic 2.0
www.teksoftbluemusic.com

auto speakerphone
auto call answer
auto reject call.

Found a great product and it is free! It puts a plugin where you cant run handsfree and stereo functions at the same time! I'm just loving it, now I can use voice command over my car stereo....
Here is the link

Another consideration might be bluetooth extention with a power toggle... www.jetwaremobile.com
I use this for handsfree with my car stereo
Thank you so much, teksoftco's A2DPtoggle works like a charm for me...this is exactly what i'm looking for. thank you
