Hi , I have jasjam and i updated it to wm6 following this instructions :
1 - link your jasjam to your computer using your DATA cable and ' microsoft ActiveSync "
2 - flashing HARD-SPL : just download HARD-SPL
==> Open "HARD-SPL" folder
==> launch RUUWrapper.exe
==> select " Force Using SSPL "
==> NEXT , NEXT .... Follow the steps to the end
* now your HARD-SPL is flashed
3 - flashing " OEM Stripped AT&T " : download it HERE :
same steps with " HARD-SPL " just select " AutoDetect " instead of choosing " Force Using SSPL "
4 - now you can upgrade any roms to your jasjam : just download roms and launch them and follow the steps to the end !
Download ROMS for hermes 100 ( JASJAM , TYTN ... etc ) :
- wm 6 : personally i use this : Schap's WM6 Pro 4.30 ROMs By Schaps ! ( Download links )
- wm6.5 roms : HERE
I hope I was clear ! Good luck

I think you can use winrar to extract them !!!
You can download winrar at http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
while for Official AT&T Stripped ROM.zip you can still download it at http://www.mediafire.com/?t0jdmwz1lwi
Official AT&T Stripped ROM
I know how I can unzip the file, but during the unzip process this error appears:
"Official AT&T Stripped ROM.zip: CRC failed in RUU_signed.nbh. The file is corrupt"
I downloaded the file twice and download process was completely finished

Hi,
Nice title isn't it ?
In fact I'm searching (hard) for a release install of the Touch3D interface for the HTC Cruise.
I have read and read and read many threads talking about the 3D drivers, the manilla 2D, hard-spl and so on... Didn't understood...
It was pages of post from developpers to developpers.
So I didn't even found a procedure telling how to install Touch3D on the cruise. A procedure for dummies I mean, i.e. step 1, step 2, step 3, etc...
I have seen on youtube videos showing the Touch3D on a Cruise... so it may be possible ! But how ???
Would it be possile to have a thread for "release" versions, containing info on the last stable and operationnal version, and a thread for "dev" versions, where geek and developpers explore, try, search, install, uninstall version ?
At the moment, I have installed Windows Mobile 6.1 on my Cruise : great success (there were only on exe to run !).
I'm really intersted by the touch 3D interface which hides WM6 more (because WM6 is not for mobile phones : I don't know who do it by Microsoft, but he should has never used it ! He might use an iphone !!!!)
And last, a request for a french version...
Thanks for your returns,
Arth'

it's been out for a while u can't have searched that hard lol
no mms
no onenote
no works automapa 5.1
I have seen this thread... but it doesn't let me thinking it was touch3D.
I tried to install it : nothing changed on the pda, except it was slower...
So it reinstall WM6.1...
Did you install new drivers 3D ???
Otherwise it doesn't work, mine is ok, one of the videos you saw is mine.
I have downloaded the m-Amine 2.0 RTM SP3.
Run the RUU.... and the process starts, the RVB screen appears on the Cruise.
0% : it stays at 0%...
I don't know why.
The WM6.1 RUU works fine. But the RTM stays as 0% although the process seems to be similar to the WM6.1 RUU.
I 'm searching (hard : in those billions posts without any stard nor end !) to solve it
I will keep you informed.
Install HardSPL before.
Man use search function and read sticky topics.
So...
It works now
Here are the steps.
First of all, I started from a Touch Cruise updated with the HTC offical Windows Mobile 6.1 upgrade, download from the HTC site.
From here :
Step 1 : installation of the hard-spl boot loader found here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=69875&d=1202629374 or via this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=351964
Step 2 : installation of the M-amine ROM
downloaded from here (for the French version) http://rapidshare.com/files/151443296/M-Amine_2.0_RTM_FRE.zip or via the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=430745
And now, it is nice
BUT :
no more Tom tom....
and maybe other things (I haven't checked all yet)
Hope this will be clear

Be careful!!
M-Amine 2.0 is a ROM which includes Manila2D, similar to touchflo 3d with the difference that is, of course, in 2d!! So it's not touchflo3d, anyways it seems like the development of TF3D for polaris stopped
TouchFlo 3D working
Hello,
I got this to work, and I truly love it. Now the question is, how do I get my TomTom back. I am sure one of of you has found a way to extract TomTom from the original HTC Touch Cruise and made us able to put it back onto the HTC Touch Cruise with the reall cool Touch 3G interface. Anybody know how to do that? Please give me some step by step instructions as to how I will get this done.
Thanks in advance
Bernd
Got it to work, I love it ... Thanks Arthur for giving me the steps here ...

Arthur,
I was sad about TomTom as well, here it is ... Works like a charm. Have fun!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=439663
does anyone have news on development? Any insight on whether there will be a ROM to include it? so far the only current development I found was here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=450556
yes, this is the latest activity I know as well. But I think devs will pick this up again, there are so many people who want it stable on their devices...(though, IMHO I canĀ“t understand it *lol*)
Please tell me step by step how to upgrade WM 6.1 into WM 6.5 into XDA IIS ?
thx.
there are step by step instructions in the wiki wizard: -=here=-
there you say, that you want to upgrade to wm6, coming from wm5 (it is the same thing as your situation), then set your pc's operating system and then it will tell you how to do it.

Hello friends,
Sorry if posted in wrong section.
Well I wanted to install android on my HTC -3470.
Currently it has 6.1 Windows Mobile.
I read tutorial over here androidonhtc dot com (Sorry i m not allowed to post links, so i wrote it this way)
It says -
Requirements for ANDROID: Android will only work if on Windows Mobile 6.1 + HTC Touch Cruise, etc.
So far i think it android should work.
How can i start then ?
No ones ready to answer the question.
any problem with question ?
Hi, checkout this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=494991
: this blog : http://wing-linux.blogspot.com/ ; and this project : http://wing-linux.sourceforge.net/trac/ for more information about android on Pharos. It's actually in developpement, and not usuable every day (sound from speaker not integrated, simlock bugs, no bluetooth, no battery info ... ) but you can try and help the project.
I wanted to downgrade my pocket pc os to it's original rom because the windows mobile 5 does not have a transcriber.thanks
Hello nfstanton,
I don't have any i-Mate ROMs, but would be willing to search if I know more about what you need. I bet the following information might help others want to help you...
Could you list the model name or number of your i-Mate?
Are you trying to downgrade to 2003 or 2002? With or without phone? What language ROM?
Any chance you know the ROM version number that you want?
Wishing you success.
ph10b windows mobile 2003..thanks
LOL - I see that is a hard to find ROM... HTC Worldwide doesn't even list the Himalaya on their Support page anymore. Other resources I checked don't have it in repository either.
One quick fix may be to Download the install package for Transcriber direct from M$. It is listed for WM 2002, but may work under WM 5.
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...c3-2eee-41e3-9339-f7b303f4b386&DisplayLang=en
They have it in English, French and German...
Or
Here on xda I found an "All Himalaya WM 6.x ROMs" thread by user maggie
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=379017
Lots of ROMs in multiple languages to choose from...
Some of the links might still be good... Maybe an Upgrade instead of a Downgrade??? Especially since WM 2003 is next to be phased out of support by M$.
P.S.: I'll still poke around looking for the WM 2003 a bit... Post back if either option above solves your problem so I don't keep searching needlessly.
Here is a Blog with info and working download link for a cooked version of WM2003 ROM which installs on all Himalaya... (It appears to be an English Language ROM)
http://softdown-guddu.blogspot.com/2009/09/alpine-wm2003-rom-11100-wwe.html
Another xda thread: "Genuine English WM2003 SE upgrade for Himalaya uploaded here"
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=230279
Note that the files are attachments in the Original Post so you must be logged on to see them - if that doesn't work you may need 8 posts for full link status...
And a working download link for "himalaya_wm2003se_upgrade"
http://www.4shared.com/file/Z9RZUIFQ/himalaya_wm2003se_upgrade.html
That's all from me unless you post back that you need more help.
Best of Luck,
RumoredNow
Thanks
Thank You VERY MUCH for helping me You're like a angel sent from above i will never forget you
Yay!!!!
I'm glad you found an answer. Honestly, that post made my day. Thanks Bro.
There's a little problem
I'm having difficulty changing the operator in the WM2003 nbk and radio files..it says that i have to use command prompt and enter the words in the instructions so i entered them and it says that it doesn't recognize the syntax...How do you really change the operator ID of the ROM? Please elaborate the steps..if you can. Thanks
I'm honestly not up to speed on Radio Stacks... There is a large group of threads for your device here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=243
Or maybe try the xda wiki pages?
