Oh Man Oh Man, they really really scratched it up. Damn, I might have to get the black version instead.

just finished watching 1st episode, that car's voice irritate me!
if you going to make a car talks, atleast make it talk like a car or machine, not some freaking human voice!

Clever idea!
thank you Tjotte, HunteronX
It's a matter of fitting the ear speaker towards your ear. I have never had problems hearing with this phone.

Only people over 30 will get it

Guys, it is absolutely amazing.

I couldn't believe how tiny the box was, then when I opened it I couldn't believe how absolutely huge the EVO is! It is massive, and the screen is amazing! No lag what so ever. Everything is lightning fast. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!

i think most got the questions taking care of in the other 3 or 4 topics like this grats on the phone wish C.list had a few near me
jealous!! congratulations man!
no it hasnt trust me..
I have asked the other people this question but apparently it was too much to ask for..
I just want to know one thing..How is the volume on the phone during a damn phone call in say like a car with the windows down?
For me HTC has always kinda been a bit low on actual in call phone volume and many times i struggle to hear with the windows down talking on the phone.
I'm getting the phone either way but it would be nice to know.
How are the WiMax speeds around Atlanta and the latency on 4G? Thanks!

I'm actually at home for the summer, so I can't test it yet! I will test the call volume the next time I get in the car.

Be careful not to get a ticket for being on the phone. In NJ that's a $100 ticket.

much appreciated!
Quick question, how do you hang up the phone after each conversation if the screen is off? I don't think I see any hard call or end button like the rest of the HTC phones.

i've been meaning to mention to ya..even if the volume is low, once the phone is rooted there's an app available that allows you to up the phones volume levels (in call, speaker, bluetooth, and even headphone jack). So there's no real worry in that regard (ps if you already have a rooted phone, check out Louder Volume Hack...i love it)

Just called my old phone from the Evo and the proximity sensor works just like the iphone. The screen turns off when it's next to your face and lights up when you pull it away.

SWEET!! I figured, just making sure..
Hey congrats on getting the phone and thanks for taking your time to answer silly noob questions
Qik video camera is so neat. I had no idea you could stream right to the web. You can also easily toggle between the front and rear cameras.
I've heard that Sprint TV doesn't work with wifi. Is there anything else, Qik for instance, that doesn't or won't utilize wifi?
And please tell me what the call quality is like when riding a roller coaster. Thanks!

ROFL!!! with pictures!
How fast does it get a GPS lock? The Incredible gets a lock in about 5-10 seconds max.

ummmm i dont think so

Who else plays with their kickstand. I do.

I was reading another thread and noticed another user flicks the kickstand in and out when they're bored I do the same thing how about you guys? Just trying to make small talk before I ask you all out. My name is Yevo.(fututlrama reference btw not actually looking for a date)
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
If I'm not doing anything, I'll mess around with the kickstand. I don't stay still very well you see...
Haha I do, everyone looks because it makes that clicking sound when it goes out then in.
I do the same... When Im on the phone at work I flick it... Or I hold the phone by it and spin it... I Probably shouldn't do that but oh well...
I'll admit, I fidget and mess with the kickstand whenever I'm in a boring meeting or whatever. Wore out the kickstand a bit on my first EVO doing that...
Yea, I flick it open and close all the time
I actually use it to prop my phone up. lol I use my Slingbox A LOT. I'll miss the kickstand, but it won't stop me from upgrading.
I know it is early in the thread, but not one penis joke?
I mess with mine all the time, I foubg that all it takes it a little pressure on the hinge side and it pops right open.
Haha yeah I do the same. I'll be standing somewhere reading on it while flicking the kickstand. It's become a habit of mine
yes i play with mine occasionally.
lol i do too when i am bored...
Only when my wife's out of town.

Exactly! I am constantly popping it up like that and slapping it back down
...giggity
-Just warming up!
yeah it doesnt take much to get my kickstand standing haha i dropped it when i was playing with it once and it fell on the kickstand, now it closes easier, opens quick, but stays locked in whatever position i leave it in
Haha, yeah, I flick it in and out all the time!
I'm actually surprized at how well it's held-up. When I first saw it, I was like well....that's going to break in a month!

When on the forum home, this thread is displayed as "Who else plays with their..."
Let the imagination run wild!
I flick it out, touch the underside, then flip it back in place.
Sometimes I'll stick mine out and chase the girlfriend around the house with it

Man, that would have been a great marketing ploy: Built-in Kickstand, that also works for warding off needy girlfriends and other unwanted people - flicks in and out with ease!

LOL, you still using the phone?
Happy birthday though!
yeah and it's still amazing!
Mine will turn 5 years old right before New Years Eve.
I will probably post some bits about what it went through, all the struggles and of course the beautiful moments of this lovely piece of ancient electronic.
Still working
Oh yes, still using it. Need second battery replace, it can't least more than day, when using it. Scratched a lot and part of touch screen not working (exactly on keyboard j,n) so sms only on landscape Also speaker is quiet so I need silent environment to listen people on other side. And sometimes GSM will stop working and I'm without signal without noticing it, only restart works
But I still can't find phone that can suit me like this one :/
