Hi guys,
it will drive me crazy! Every time I reset my Wizard, or shut it down, when he boots, it runs alarm automatic (alarm clock), and it cant be turned off, there is no on screen message to dismiss alarm, I turn all sounds off, and then my Wizard just vibrates.
I cannt turn off alarm! what to do? thank you!

Hi. I have been irritated about the win mobile device reminder not waking up my device or repeating the alarm if the device does wake up. Many times, I set an alarm using windows "clock and alarms", press repeat sound, and it repeats only once if at all. Also, if my phone is turned off, it won't wake the device. I have to turn it on then I hear alarms. Even when plugged in.
I have VZxv6900 Vogue. I have the windows mobile 6.1. Is there a cheap alarm that will wake my phone up with or without being plugged in, and also repeat until I dismiss it? I am looking for a RELENTLESS alarm clock for my Vogue XV6900. $10 or preferably less.
Thank you.
G-Alarm is the best free alarm, and no app will automatically power the device on.
Go to Settings->System->Power, and uncheck the "On External Power". This is how I got around it not waking me up in the morning. It stays on while being charged and the alarm WILL go off.
Does anyone know if there is a way to make the backlight stay on while charging. And also keep the phone from locking while charging. I think keeping it from locking would allow the alarm clock to actually wake me up, it shuts off when the screen turns off which is quick when its locked
Under power settings > advanced > uncheck both boxes under "On External Power"

The alarm should work when the phone is locked, I use mine this way all week for work just fine.
Ok thanks got the backlight to stay on. But when the alarm is set it only goes off for about five seconds and the sound shuts off and then displays a message

The Snooze/Dismiss message? What do you have set as the alarm? Is it a short tone or something a little longer?
Here's a good tip for using your phone as an alarm clock.
Set your alarm normally.
Go into power mode and uncheck the box to turn off the device after X time when plugged in.
Leave the turn off backlight box checked and set for 2 minutes when plugged in.
Now once you turn the screen on and the phone is plugged in, after 2 minutes the screen will dim way down and stay on all night making it a great alarm clock. I used an automotive cell phone holder to make the perfect cradle for holding it upright and at a perfect viewing angle. After owning a BB Storm, I just couldn't NOT have this capability... you get spoiled.
This works great.
Hei!
A question!
Is Touch2 alarm clock working when phone is shuted down?
I have with that a problem. When I shut phone down, then it wont wake up me (doesent work), is it normal or is the phone broken?
Mine is also not working
My alarm also does not sound when the phone is shutted down. I think it is normal.
Go to start/settings/clock-alarm settings and choose tab "more"...there you can select the alarm to sound even when phone is switched off or on vibrate.....
This does not work when the phone is shutted down ofcourse.....
If you shut down your phone, i.e. turn it off - No Windows mobile will sound the alarm, not just Touch2 . Well people give reasons like this acts like a 'Computer' (PPC) - But I still find it funny and annoying.
I have a strange problem with G-Alarm 2.6 on stock ROM 1.66 ITA
I leave the phone locked; in the morning the alarms goes on but by the time I take the phone the alarm is still ringing but the phone is locked and the screen is off: I have to turn the screen on, unlock the phone and then I can switch teh alarm off...
hm... I believe it is quite normal behaviour, however in g-alarm options You have a switch for unlocking on alarm. I left mine locked, as sometimes my alarms ring while in my pocket, so it is more safe.
... and in the morning I just shake my hd2 to turn alarm off.
I have set my phone vibration on using power down key. For apps like WhatsApp, TOI, I have turned it off. Whenever I am using my phone and there is the notification from these apps, my phone gets vibrated. Is this is a bug? How can I turn off vibration for notifications and turn on only for calls? Is there is a difference in vibration setting when screen is off or screen is on? Please help

Once For me, my device profile mode was in 'ringing' but when I was receiving calls, my phone device wasn't ringing. I then restarted the phone and it started working.
Same issue with the zen gesture 'tap to wake/sleep' , had turn the gesture on and off for it to work.
Phone is having many issues.
