But I don't see if there is a application for HTC Touch or HTC Elf in order to have the famous Android from Google. I've seen on the Internet that there was the application for HTC Vogue, but it doesn't work on our phones Touch / Elf. (white screen)
Is this application exist ? Or is it in developpement maybe ?

There aren't any applications. Android is an OS, like Windows Mobile. You can choose between WM and Android, but can't have both on your Elf.

It's for Vogue, not Elf or Elfin.

I don't think there will be any official version. Maybe some Elfin user will create it.

really interested in this.... The Htc Vogue (another processor) has achivied this, The Htc Niki too.. but they are not OMAP like elf or elfin...
I'm also very interested in this android "rom"
I read that some people was successful with the linuxboot on elfin.
Is there anyone who knows how to achieve it?

Ok, here's what I have found after a day of very disappointing reading:
There is a WM booting version of android for the vouge (which is a qualcomm processor)
That processor is also the same (similar) architecture as the one in the dream/g1. Which is why it works I assume. As a result the rom should also work on the titan, diamond, HD, etc.
As for the Elf and Elfin. They use the TI OMAP 850 board. Google did write a version of android that worked on that board for a tech show, but it has not appeared anywhere around in a usable form for a phone. (No USB or keyboard or anything)
IMO someone should just have to take the kernal from that example and the development for the vouge and run with it
But that is probably way harder than it sounds (and hasn't happened yet as far as I can tell)
Also, the severe limitations of the Elf's ram will mean it probably not work booting from WM (since it needs 32mb at a BARE not even usable minimum)
The Herald forums has been porting android to the Omap850. They're still early on in the development stages, but I would imagine that helping them out (for those of you who can actually program and make drivers) would set a layout to port it easily to the elf (since they have the same CPU and chipset.)

i found that you can information about the 8 nearest cells directly from memory under windows ce on the typhoon / spv c500 smartphone.
Code:

will show you a table, with the location-area-code and cell-id in the 23rd and 24th column.
this is for radio version 1337.0.32-0.03.18.
for other versions it should be somewhere in the 0x8f100000 - 0x8f200000 area.
Hi, this is very interresting. But how to know such information on other devices specially PPCs WM5 based.
Isn't this how celltrack works from spv-developers? I was speaking to the developer and he said it dumps it directly from memory, not through RIL or AT.

I've not tried it yet too, but the bootlauncher should be useful just for the Diamond-like new SIPMenu.
If we can put it at work it would be good, because choosing the Keypad and Compact Keyboard in Landscape mode makes device.exe get crazy - the code to manage those layouts is missing in the code, after HTC has moved from V1.0 to V1.5.
The EzInput files are the same, but the Tegic ones are newer. I'll put them in all the cabs straight away.

I don't think its touchflo3d, it's touchflo2d. At least thats what the photos on HTC website suggest. I'd be surprised if the hardware could support 3d.

yes same here the ruu_signed.nbh is 109mb inside the exe
the file is not entirely uploaded, the OP should reupload it
after extraction i got RUU_Signed.nbh with size 71689250 bytes
and the original size in the archive is 114969282 bytes

I have a Videocon V2950 mobile. The company can be seen be easliy searched . Thats a very reputed company in India which has newly stepped into the mobile market.
I am a newbie and wanted to flash ROM to upgrade from wm6.1 to wm6.5.
I read a lot in the xda-forums and the info i received was amazing and got a know a many new things about the ROM. I tried flashing an HTC ROM but the device type is not recognized in the initial process. And if i still continue then the device disconnects from active sync asa the upgrade starts (Although with a different ROM, which i understand is not the right way)

if you turn the HD2 into Landscape Mode while using the HTC Calculator, it switches over to the scientific mode.
Now I observed a strange behaviour:
If you type in 1 + 1,5 => this works
if you type in 1,5 + 1,5 => well, you can't type in the decimal point
if you type in 1 + 1,5 + 1,5 => you can't type in the decimal point of the third operand.
Is this only my phone???
Does anyone else observe this behaviour?
Is there a solution out there?

I just done the equations you posted and fully replicated your results man. That is wierd, but no you are not crazy.

so we have identified now, that the HTC Calculator Version 1.1 Build 2017.1114 has this bug.
Question:
- which other builds are out there and do they have the bug as well?
If we identify a bugfree version... How to replace the buggy calculator?
And whilst analysing this issue... as HTC is a Korean company, maybe somebody could explain me how Korean mathematiks works...
I have somehow the feeling that we have to recheck the results of the last PISA-Tests...

Mmm version 1.0 builds work fine.
If you find a cab for a different build you can check the cab files & overwrite required files in ROM
1.1 Build 2016.1322 (in ROMeOS ROM 5.01) doesn't have that bug.
Get that ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=11856768).
Besides you get a really great ROM.

Thanks to Franky24, who provided the previous build (bugfree) of the calculator, the issue is solved now.
=> just extract the ZIP container and copy the file in the Windows folder of the HD2

I believe most of these "codes" only works on stock TW ie. Android 4.1.2.
Please, correct me if I'm wrong!
