hi folks, i recently found this application 'Point UI'. You may find some other threads for this, as well. It provides kindda iPhone interface to windows mobile. I ain't crazy for Apple iPhone user interface and themes, but i am sure, there are some people who would definitely appreciate a change.
This software, i have tried on WM5/WM6, works perfectly on them. People usin' WM2/WM3, can try at their own risk and lemme know the compatibility. It is not exactly iPhone interface, but the basic Slide and Touch Navigation works perfectly fine without any hassles. On top of that, people like me, usin' windows mobile with the same good old interface would surely enjoy this change.
And sorry, for not being able to post this application here. Some account related issue, is there. That's why i am posting it on rapidshare. You can PM me, if you face any difficulty in downloadin' i'll e-mail it to you.

I think you could stay more polite here! Do you want to go through 500+ pages to find a post when you are looking for it then go on supporting double posting! In my opinion this is kind of double posting beacuse everywhere in this forum posts concerning PointUI are popping up and on each page you'll find the string 'PointUI' at least one time!

I thought I'd put your statement to the test! On entering this forum, there is only this thread which mentions PointUI, therefore unless one is used to the ways of how forums work and this one in particular, only a search would have revealed what you are saying.
Sometimes people come across things in different places and believing they have found something amazing, they just rush over to xda devs to share the good news.
More experienced ones are more inclined to do an internal search first.
Whilst I agree that you are right about being more polite here...apologies to anyone offended, you might take some time out to remember what it's like to be a newbie at something or less experienced than someone else.
Someone makes an innocent mistake by 'who's standards?' but it is very helpful to others who happen to be browsing.
Anyway nuff said. I'll keep quite for now, but if anyone ever flames me like that, I'm sure to speak up.

well yeah, literally he's saying that his X1 is in english ( as are many of ours.. ) just that he wants to be able to "draw?" or input chinese characters. I guess he'd be drawing with the stylus? LOL... well anyways he wants to put chinese in.. and I've got no clue how =S
I used various translation tools and got brush to chinees which would be write Chinese; however, given how me may be phrasing his question he could be asking to flash to chinese - If he can't post in English (not knowing any English perhaps) he may want to change the whole language of his device so that he can use it easier. Just a thought.
We need better tranlation here and if not a Mod will probably close and trash this thread.

LOL. Let me open a Chinese class in here. Unlike English, a single Chinese character could have a lot of meaning depends how it combine w/ other characters in the phase.
Direct translation of "刷" mean brush/draw, but it's a slang in this case/usage and it's basically mean "flash". He want to know how to flash Chinese Rom to English X1.

you can flash it like any other x1 ROM.

I tried PlumSIP 6.0 and 6.1, and I found 6.0 is more friendly to those who need to jump between English and Chinese on the fly. Basically 6.1 is suppose to have the HTC black skin, and better word prediction, but it lost the language change on the fly via the au button.
Excuse me but, we want to use these roms in our language. You know that how many Turkish on the world. You make roms for smallish countries. But you don't see for big Turkey or you don't want to see. Which one? If you make racism, we can show racism too.
Anyway we know that everybody is brother and next time my brothers will not find us. Isn't it?

I know it was probably a joke but threatening to be "racist" isn't the way to go about getting what you want.
The word you were looking for was "xenophobic" by the way seeing as there isn't a Turkish race to the best of my knowledge... You've also got to remember that most chefs cook ROMs for themselves and then share them here for the benefit of the community. If you're unhappy that there aren't any Turkish ROMs you've probably only got Turkish chefs to blame for not sharing their work here.

Maybe there are mobile phone forums in your language?
If it is of any interest to you: Yes, you can find "some" German, French or Italian language ROMs here at xda, but there are much more on German, French or Italian language fora.
I would never ever blame the chefs for not publishing their work here at xda, even if it is the biggest forum in the world - it is still just strictly English. Maybe that is a reason for non-English speakers to use other fora.

If you experience problems with the phone dialer phone dialer cab after installing the patch installed without problems in all the rum you get results.

My English teacher says 'beamer'(German word with English origin) instead of 'video projector' and 'transparencies'(for overhead projector) instead of 'slides'(for powerpoint).
