Replacement LCD -- cnn.cn vs. blackberry8100parts.com - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Accessories

My LCD screen is cracked and I need to order a new one, but I was wondering why there is a large price difference between blackberry8100parts.com and other websites like cnn.cn.
The difference is about $29. Is the more expensive one better, or OEM, or what?

Kaiser LCD Screen
www.blackberry8100parts is now www.fonlogix.us
They have a Disassembly video for the Tilt
and the cheapest price for the lcd for $44 currently

I got mine from blackberryparts and it was great only drawback is if you don't do express ship it takes forever.

Broken LCD! Replace? Please Help!

So I went to bed after a crazy party and woke up with broken LCD. I have taken pretty good care of the phone and it cost me like $500 US so that sucks. Does anyone know a semi easy way that is at all cost efficient? Thanks in advance!
what part of the screen is broken?
if its the touch screen that doesnt work you can get a replacement off ebay relatively cheap
if its the lcd then its a lot more expensive - somewhere around $120USD although i saw one guy selling a replacement lcd for $70USD
there are also a few sites that you can send the phone in and they do the repairs and send it back within a week - but that costs around $200 or more
i cracked my screen and found an mda on craigslist for $225 barely used...now i have 2 mda's, one for daytime soberness and the cracked one for night intoxication

Need recommandation for screen protector?

Hi, my device is HTC Cingular 8525. I want to get a screen protector film. I do have one now pushed on my phone, but its too cheap as I can see scrathes I made on it after one week use. I want get a new better one that doesn't have such kind of problem. I already look a lot of products. ZAGG's InvisibleShield ones seem good but I don't think buying a film for 15 dollars when my phone only worth 100 dollars is a good idea. Also I found on Ebay some item ask 10$ including shippment, but I don't know whether they are good. Therefore I want to ask: Anyone here has any recommendation? (Website links, keywords, ebay seller name, all welcomed) I want a screen protector totally charges below $10 with a reasonable protection against scrathes (both screen and film itself should be okay with scrathes made by stylus pen in normal use)

[Q] Dropped/cracked phone: Which replacement part do I need?

This is probably a n00b question for the hardcore phone geeks out there. Apologies for that - I'm conversant in software but completely lost with hardware in tech devices. Thank you in advance for your help - I really appreciate it.
I cracked my LG Google Nexus 4 by dropping it. This means
there are spidery cracks all over the front screen
the screen is no longer reponsive
but the displayed image (my PIN lock screen) looks the same
and the phone is still receiving messages/notifications
I suspect this means the glass screen and digitizer (which is embedded in it) have to be replaced... but not necessarily the entire LCD housing. Is that right? The cost difference is >$100 between them. (Don't worry about the convenience/ease part -- I plan to take the phone to a very reputable local shop in any case.)
Glass + digitizer + LCD + case, $150 - "ePartSolution-OEM LG Google Nexus 4 e960 LCD Touch Digitizer Screen Assembly with Housing Frame Replacement Part USA Seller" on Amazon
Glass + digitizer, $47 - "ePartSolution-OEM LG Nexus 4 E960 Digitizer Lens Glass Touch Screen Black Replacement Part USA Seller" on Amazon
Thanks again - I really appreciate the help!
If you are not doing the work yourself, you will want to check with the shop first because they may require that you use parts they order. They don't want to install your parts and then have a problem that could be their fault or a problem with the parts you gave them to install. Check with them first. You'll need the LCD/glass and housing. I know it's a big ticket item, but you can't really expect the shop to charge you a flat rate when they have to do a bunch of work to replace a part that isn't really replaceable (the LCD minus housing). The shop may be able to order the part at a lower cost, though they might also include a charge so the part ends up costing more in total. When I replace LCD screens usually the cost of labor is much much greater when I have to unglue junk and replace pieces that aren't really supposed to be done like that. Even just swapping out the screen/housing is going to cost a bit in labor.
Watch this video, which is really good.
This one [OEM] include all [LCD+Digitizer+Glass] also with the front cover(!) which make the replacement lot easier...

So I have to ask you not to apply conventional advice to the situation because I live in Ethiopia, where labor is cheap and Nexus parts must be mailed from the US or fetched from Dubai. Believe me, I've visited many shops and checked. Replacement costs about $30 in labor, which is also half the average monthly wage for industry -- the mobile shop guys are relatively very well paid and great at their work
What I'm still confused about is whether the LCD even needs to be replaced. If yes, for sure I'll get it with housing - but I don't want to buy an LCD if only the glass screen needs to be replaced. I am looking at the phone and the image quality on the screen is great -- I have a hi-res photo as my background and it has no damaged spots.

[Q] Average Price for Front LCD+Digitizer Kits?

I'm curious to how much a typical front screen self-replacement kit runs for? How much did you pay for the front screen assembly and please include links if you are happy with your Nexus 4 after the self repair.
I just cracked the front screen on my phone today and i'm debating whether it is worth it to just sell it on ebay or repair it myself. Sending it to LG is a little too pricey for my tastes considering I only paid 200 dollars for it.
The Drawback to selling it on Ebay is that you will probably only get like 90-100 bucks for it if your front screen is cracked

So you are essentially going to have to spend 100 bones to fix it yourself, hmmm. Really wish the nexus 4 wasn't so freaking fragile

OnePlus 2 Screen Replacement: What do I have to pay attention to?

Hello,
i broke the frontglass of my OnePlus 2 and i want to repair it by myself.
Now i dont know exactly which components i should buy..
My touchscreen and lcd panel is working very fine, its just the glass that is broken,
so i would like to keep my original oneplus panel and just replace the glass,
but is this possible?
And if this isnt possible and i need to replace the hole panel, which
panel should i buy?
On eBay there are different prices from 25€ up tp 50€ and
i dont know if this panels for 50€ really make a huge different..
Additionally i´m scared about crappy quality..
Can i happend, that i get a screen that is for example not fullhd or has
less dpi than the original?
So i general how big is the different to the original lcd from oneplus and
how high is the risk to buy ****?
Maybe someone brought a display in the past and is happy with it and can send a link or something like that for it,
i would be really thankful for help!
I've repaired it by using a cheap 18 $ screen, that includes the glass and lcd panel (digitizer). My Experience is that it works fine and the difficulity of repairing the screen is like 5/10. I've used a guide on iFixit.
The quality of the dpi etc. is the same but I have some questions about the durance of the glass.
