i really enjoy using my diamond with lots of tweaks and so on but there´s one thing left ( maybe the most important !!! ) :
I need to see all upcoming events ( next 2-3 days ? ) at the home screen, there are two at maximum and thats really annoying...
Is there any developer who knows a soloution ?

Hi,
I have the problem that sometimes no appointment is shown on the home tab although there are appointment for this day in calender .
Sometimes the home-tab shows appointment from past (the day before) .
If I edit an appointment in the calender, the appointment on the home tab refresh and everything is correct .
Im using original HTC-Rom 1.93 GER with some own graphics-manila-files created with Manila editor.
Any idea?

It is a great today plugin which shows appointments, tasks - Very customizeable and I have mine showing appointments up to a week in advance. It work's very well on my HTC Touch Elf WM 6.0. I added the RL Calendar to the same page so that I have a calender above it and appointments showing beneath. All as one page in ultimateLaunch.
I see a lot of smarties here trying to be all ^%$%.
What he is asking for, as well as I need, is to be able to see more upcoming appointments while the TF3D is ON .... got it. Please read before you guys get all smart.
The apps you suggested do not work work, well they do, but do not show up with TF3D ON.
Perhaps there is some registry tweak that can allow to see like today+next 7 days appointments.

Hey buddy. There is no need to get rude. Everyone here is just trying to be helpful, geez. What is your problem.
By the way, the original question was not asking specifically for something that would work while TF3D is on specifically and since I do not have a Diamond, I would have no way of knowing what would work for you or not. I was only pointing to a possible sollution as I am sure everyone else was. Notice in my post I actually metioned working on HTC TOUCH ELF WM 6.0.
Anyway, Good Luck finding what you need.

Anybody knows the answer? Maybe only HTC staff knows. Second Today works but it is just a workaround by adding a today screen so as to avoid the TF3D screen. Like the 2USU thing (a workaround for locking the screen with incoming calls), it's not a clean solution. I don't know what other fellow diamondiers feel, but I want a clear cut solution direct from TF3D, not to switch to another screen/program/interface to get around (and I want to see everything from the TF3D screen even when it's locked and backlight is off and I don't need to unlock the screen and then press another button to see it). But yes, this has been a F-Q but still no A (as in FAQ) yet. It seems to be a real simple issue that most of us will come across and intuitively think it's easy to solve (by a registry tweak or so) but yet no solution comes up yet. It's a bit frustrating....

You seen the movie Tropic Thunder? You know Tom Cruises' part in that, when he talks to the Flaming Dragon guys for the first time through the phone? Well, that's what I'd love to do to you now.
Yes, maybe there is a tweek (sic) that can do that with "TF3D ON" (did you know that the word 'on' is officially written uncapitalised?), and yes, Second Today is a workaround (which by the way, works with TF3D "ON"); however, since topics requesting this functionality for TF3D started back in 1931 you would think that if such a tweek (sic) existed, somebody smarter than you would've found it by now. And seeing this forum now has 869015 members, that makes 869014 members smarter than you - and none of them has ever found this elusive 'tweek' since 1931.
So, yeah, maybe there is. Go find it!

It seems to be spanish and the idea is to use SecondToday from http://www.chi-tai.info/cs_wm_tools_im_cs.htm.
How about making an app that changes the today screen when you rotate the device?
So when it's in portrait you have TF3d and when it's in landscape you can have Calendar+ or whatever other plugins you want?

This is an app that puts widgets like the Omnia on the today screen. The only issue is that it doesn't support VGA yet (hence the reason for the post). I used SecondToday to get another today screen, loaded FEWidgets, and mapped the top volume key to go back and forth between TF3D and the today screen with FEWidgets. It worked liked a charm, with no lag or hesitation. The widgets worked fine by controlling comm devices like bluetooth and WIFI. The only thing you may have to change is the wallpaper in the programs folder in order to get VGA (480x640) wallpaper to cover the whole screen (once you get them in the folder there is actually a widget you can change them with). FEWidget does use the entire screen, so other today screen plugins can not be used. The only problem is the widgets are small (QVGA), and looking to you guys to find a solution. I haven't had a chance to look at the files, but I will to see if the widget icons can be manipulated. It is damn cool though. A simple button press takes you to another screen with widgets!!!!! ok so I can not find this mod mentioned in the thread you posted, nor can I find it via search which more or less leaves me no chance as to ask you again in the wrong thread if you could point me to the mod or the file to get those icons changed.

well thats str8 up on the omnia... we are dealing with porting it do a different resolution... i'm not too sure why else it may be lagging but i'm sure it will be smoothed out in the coming releases.
One thing i really like is the screen rotation of the omnia in that video... is that impossible to get for our diamonds?

Does anyone know how to assign specific buttons to toggle this in SecondToday? All I see is right and left softkey and neither of them seem to work anyway. Ideally I'd like the Home key to toggle between TF3D and FEWidgets.
Secondly, if I run the FEWidgets alone I can move them around etc. but if it's loaded through SecondToday I cannot, is there a way to fix this?

sorry for opening a new thread, probably this question would be in S2U2 thread, but also I think that post in a thread with 3423 posts would mean to waste it.
I would like to have a light S2U2 version with only the slide to answer function and full screen caller ID.
Currently I'm using S2U2 1.35 but I think it's too heavy, often I can't hear my phone ringing before 4 rings, so I miss a lot of calls.

Well, for one, you are right about a couple of things: A) That thread is huge and maybe a post in there will be buried under a pile of other posts; B) Yes, you shouldn't have opened a new thread for this...
Anyway, the couple of suggestions that I have for you are:
ThrottleLock: Still pretty early, but APLibo has made some improvements in 0.4 (his latest release)
Mini S2U: Very small footprint and definitely not as pretty as S2U2, but it does what it is supposed to.
I hope this helps some...

Many thanks for your reply, I'm using (in alternative) answerkey disabler, and works fine, but I like the full screen caller ID by S2U2
About Mini S2U, I took a look, but it seems that it does exactly what I don't need... It only locks the screen and has the ability to slide to unlok, but I only need the Slide to Answer feature.

Exactly, I own a Diamond and I set it to lock the screen after 30 sec., then I have to unlock using the power button, so I don't need the Slide to Unlock function.

I don't know if this works on Diamond, but I simply installed Phonecanvas!
And somewhere on freewareppc.com I found a tool only adding a fullscreen callerID... but I don't think this worked with a slider...

I agree...I think HTC Phone Canvas is gonna be your best bet if you don't want anything else. It's not completely full screen caller ID but it's close (takes up the full screen but the contact pic is slightly smaller and centered). Has the slide to answer and ignore as well.
Search for Phone Canvas or Opal Dialer.

Thank you, I downloaded Opal Phone Canvas, but analizing it I noticed that it changes 263 files under windows directory, so I'm a bit worried about install it. Also I noticed that it's probably in Englis and I'm using an Italian ROM.
I think that probably I will post under the right thread hoping in an A_C reply

i downloaded Phone canvas but received an "installation was unsuccessfull" message. I'm using 6.1 and an i760
the phonecanvas is probably only for htc devices. i cant install it on my ks20 too. hope they can port it to all wm phones someday like what they did with m2d.

This makes it seem as though they are changing randomly, and that it is not the shaking causing the change. It seems that the ball should have a blank answer area until shaken, then display an answer after shaking, then stay on that answer unless shaken again.
Does this make sense? I am not sure if I have explained it clearly.

yeah, i noticed that today, i will fix the sensor reading and release an update later on today. thank you

hey i got excited when i saw this but i think it might be a little better if the answer didnt pop up until after you stopped shaking. im no programmer so idk if its possible but i would like to be able to shake while thinking of a question and then get the answer when i stop lol very important haha

Hi guys, first post from me so excuse if theres some infos missing what you need, but I'll add as something is asked.
I'm a long user of Nokia phones and just changed my E90 into a Diamond. And the one thing that I really miss is that theres not exactly different profiles to choose from (or made your own). Theres only selections for silent and vibrate, other than the normal selections. And I really miss that from Nokia phones. Just a few simple clicks and phone has a loud theme with a different ringtone and SMS message sound, or then its almost quiet (like when my baby is sleeping).. I think you all get the picture, if you ever had Nokia phones =)
So my reguest is for someone to point out a program or if someone wants to make I would be glad, really glad I think some others would like these too
I could make another post but I'll just add few other programs also to here that maybe someone knows if there exists similar for Diamond
- BestProfiles (enable selected profiles to turn on at some time of day)
- FlipSilent (turn ur phone face-down and its on silent, works for alarming to go snooze)
- Putty (great for symbian phones but I found only programs that arent so good as this is)
Anyways thnx in advantage if someone can help a dude out...
PS. only had HTC for a few days but after starting using it I had to order a data-plan to my mobile and a better battery, but this was off-topic..

I just installed it and it seems a fair try, tho it has a lot more possibilitys that i would actually need from a app might even help that dude out to translate it to my native language, like i just did to PocketShield, not finished yet but almost =)

Is there a possibility to view in the main screen 2 individual time settings? I travel a lot and this can help me see just by touching the mobile what is the time at home compared to the location one.
By opening some application it is just inpractical so is there some way to just add a small time next to the big one?

**spb ms is a very usefull app(no doubt about), but high (enough) resources consumer for such a simple purpose: a multiple time displaying app on today's screen...

Hello guys,
Is there a possibility to view in the main screen 2 individual time settings? I travel a lot and this can help me see just by touching the mobile what is the time at home compared to the location one.
By opening some application it is just inpractical so is there some way to just add a small time next to the big one?

For this you can use old version (2.0) or something of SPB Time. Earlier version used to come with today Plugin which can be used for multiple location times. However it'll be helpful only if you are not using TouchFlo as your today application.
