I've read a lot around and I do not come to conclusion what type miniSD card is most appropriate for my Trinity.
Currently I have 4GB Albatron x60 card which cause me a certain amount of troubles -- sometimes after soft reset some of the contents are missing.
However I want to buy new card (4, 6 or 8 GB) and I don't know which one to choose.
I've read some articles for SDHC cards and I've come across several SDHC patches for WM6, but I'm not sure which one to pick. I even don't know whether SDHC is appropriate at all for my device.
Please ... give me some advise for this matter.

I'm using a Sandisk 8gb micro SDHC card with an adapter Micro/Mi,i from Kingston.
At first runnig under WM5 only recognised 4gb , made an upgrade to WM6 and... card is working perfectly.
So good luck.
No issues at all ? I'm using WM6 too.
What is your ROM version and vendor ... if it is cooked it may be patched for SDHC.
I'm still using the stock Dopod WM6 ROM.

have anyone yet besides me tried to upgrade to a new rom using an 8GB micro sdhc?
when i get into the bootloader with the TITAIMG.NBH on the root of the microsdhc card, it doesn't seem to recognize it even though it shows the 7.6 GB within the OS.
( just in case I'm soft-resetting it with camera and power button being hold.)
ANYONE?

Never mind, it seems that sdcard flashing doesn't work on SDHC cards.

did you try No2Chem's NueSPL? I heard some had success with SDHC cards with his.
My A-Data 8GB is just 4GB in the 6800
At least your A-Data 8GB card (Type 4) is recognized as 8GB. Mine is seen as 8GB in XP but onlu 4GB on my XV6800, even though I've installed the Kahuna SDHC Support Kit cab.
Just a side note, be 100% certain it is FAT32 and not the default FAT(16). Otherwise Oli wont recognize the card

just tried it and it was a no no. no SDHC support for hardspl at least with my 8 Gigger A-Data sdhc
No dice with Sandisk 8gb sdhc
I tried on my 8gb Sandisk with no luck either. It came formatted with Fat32 from SanDisk - but I didn't try reformatting it yet.

with mini sd adapter.
but the wizard doesnt read the card
(fat32 formated)
if i try the card in a cardreader its working ,
my old 512mb mini sd card working is working in my wizard..

Try to use a ROM that contains the app format storage and try to formatt... but i think it may recognize it first... nothing to lose if try... or reformatt it on a XP built in with card reader.
Panasonic makes a free sd formatting software that it claims to strictly adhere to the sd standard:

You could give it a shot, don't see how it could hurt

you are wrong, i have a magician with cottula rom, and i am able to use a 4gb sdhc card without any problems. I also own a HP hx2790b Ipaq, and i wasn't able to use sdhc on it, but i simply installed the sdhc drivers instead of the original SD drivers, and voila! it works! you can install cottula rom 6.1 because it has built-in support for sdhc, or simply download the drivers,just type sdhc drivers wm in google, and you'll find it with ease!
If you flash your rom to Cottula 3.03 WWE you can use 8GB card. I personaly tested on my device and 8GB card and It works very well...

actually, I'm using a 8G SDHC CLASS6 card on my Magician now
with Cotulla's WM6.1 CHSO2 ROM
what is the size of sd card that a o2 xda himalaya running windows mobile 6.1 to 6.5 can take. i have a 4GB sandisk ultra 15MB/S SDHC MEMORY CARD that does no get recognized when i insert it.
are there any workarounds or is it a certain way of formating it or just a hardware problem?
himalaya only run sd cards anything over 2GB are sdhc
I am using a transcend 4 gb sd card ( not sdhc ) which I bought of e bay last year.Also works in Alpine and Blue Angel
it also supports 4 GB card but sd card as per all above post
if u can't able to detect it then just clean out the contacts of the card & also clean the inner contacts in himalaya with clean paper...
