Hello, suddenly my trinity (chaps vm6 4.3) stoped ringing. it does not matter where i put the volume slides to, low or high. the speaker gives no sound. vibration is working.
settings are ring and vibrate.
Neither does the speaker phone work if i enable it during a call, it just becomes silent.
Any hints, have i by mistake muted the devic or is it broken?
microfone and regular speaker works as normaly for a call.

lately my universal is acting weird.
when this happens I can hear an incoming call ,but when i try to answer I do not hear speaker,and i am not hear.
along with this all other sounds are dead.only sound I hear is the incoming ring call,
is it a speaker problem,and if so why does the ring caller still sound?
problem with your mic, maybe die, speaker still work because it don't relate to mic
My DOPOD 818pro suddenly become strange.. sometimes when i use it, the phone can vibrate and sometimes it can't vibrate again... beside that , my phone vibrate weaker than before... but sometimes it can vibrate stronger.. what is the problem ? oh yeah ... my speaker couldn't ring but suddenly it can ring again but the sound is bad ... after that i enhance the volume and the speaker become broken again. it can't ring again.. what is the problem with my phone ?? is the speaker of my phone broken ?? but why can my phone ring once but after that it can't ring again ?

Hello everyone, my Hermes worked a looong time very fine but now i cant hear the normal "beep" when i adjust the volume. Also i hear no conversation when i phone somebody. Alarm sound is off too. I hardresetted it once but it didn't help. The weird thing is: I can hear the ringing sound when i get a phone call?!
It looks like the other person can't hear me either, thats a bit weird because i thought this isnt a speaker but a microphone problem... Two components crashed on one day? WTF? Need help
I have seen this problem with a different htc phone.
their may be a bit of dirt across the miniusb contacts making the phone think it is connected to a headset.
plugin a mini usb cable and waggle it round a bit then test calling someone hopefully that should cure it for you.
I have a very very similar problem with my Vario II. The sound is VERY intermittent. Sometimes it rings but when I pickup there is no sound either way, from the earpiece or mic, the other person cannot hear me. Most of the time the phone just vibrates (set to Ring and Vibrate) so I know there is a message or a call coming...not that I can answer the call. Tried soft resetting it and even changing the ROM, only works for about 5 minutes then the sound is gone again.
The device only works as a phone with a blue tooth headset, the rest of the time it is just a PDA....that vibrates.
Is there an option when the phone is charging to use by default the speaker phone while in call.
I need this when I use it as a navigation system in my car.
Any help will be appreciated...

Today my phone when I make a call or receive a call, the default is speaker and I hear the sound from speaker, and speaker button is not activated, not green, the speaker is not turned on and I hear sound from speaker, why this is happening?
If I plug the phone on dock and I remove I hear sound normally, but when I make another call or receive I hear sound from speaker.
I checked everything, S voice, driver mode...
Anyone can help?
