My DOPOD 818pro suddenly become strange.. sometimes when i use it, the phone can vibrate and sometimes it can't vibrate again... beside that , my phone vibrate weaker than before... but sometimes it can vibrate stronger.. what is the problem ? oh yeah ... my speaker couldn't ring but suddenly it can ring again but the sound is bad ... after that i enhance the volume and the speaker become broken again. it can't ring again.. what is the problem with my phone ?? is the speaker of my phone broken ?? but why can my phone ring once but after that it can't ring again ?
what should i do with my phone ?

I have my MDA Compact now since a few days. Everything works fine. But:
He doesn´t ring and vibrate when a phonecall is incoming. I checked everything. I checked the caller-id-options, the telephone-options, the sound-options...
He gives a sound and a vibration to show me an absent call. But he doesn´t react to an incoming call with sound and vibration. If the MDA is in Standby-Mode - he turns on. that´s ok. If i push the green Phone-Button i can have the phone-call. But no ringtone or vibraion at all...
Hard to explain for me - sorry for my english..

Hello friends.For those of you who own a Jasjam(Hermes 100) as you might be knowing that phone vibrates continuously when a call comes.It vibrates till speaker gives sound output(ringtone) i.e it vibrates sync with sound
This to me is a big problem cause my vibration hardware stops working if phone vibrates a lot.It is a manufacturing defect,i get it fixed but it keeps on happening.So can anyone develope a software so phone doesnt vibrates toooooo long.I mean short vibrations like nokia??

Continius vibration bothers me too. There is a registry tweak but then the ringtone wount be played, i tried.
Hello everyone, my Hermes worked a looong time very fine but now i cant hear the normal "beep" when i adjust the volume. Also i hear no conversation when i phone somebody. Alarm sound is off too. I hardresetted it once but it didn't help. The weird thing is: I can hear the ringing sound when i get a phone call?!
It looks like the other person can't hear me either, thats a bit weird because i thought this isnt a speaker but a microphone problem... Two components crashed on one day? WTF? Need help
I have seen this problem with a different htc phone.
their may be a bit of dirt across the miniusb contacts making the phone think it is connected to a headset.
plugin a mini usb cable and waggle it round a bit then test calling someone hopefully that should cure it for you.
I have a very very similar problem with my Vario II. The sound is VERY intermittent. Sometimes it rings but when I pickup there is no sound either way, from the earpiece or mic, the other person cannot hear me. Most of the time the phone just vibrates (set to Ring and Vibrate) so I know there is a message or a call coming...not that I can answer the call. Tried soft resetting it and even changing the ROM, only works for about 5 minutes then the sound is gone again.
The device only works as a phone with a blue tooth headset, the rest of the time it is just a PDA....that vibrates.
Hello, suddenly my trinity (chaps vm6 4.3) stoped ringing. it does not matter where i put the volume slides to, low or high. the speaker gives no sound. vibration is working.
settings are ring and vibrate.
Neither does the speaker phone work if i enable it during a call, it just becomes silent.
Any hints, have i by mistake muted the devic or is it broken?
microfone and regular speaker works as normaly for a call.

Try a different radio (look for the one that's recommended in the thread).
I just recieved my Hermes today, flashed it to a wm6 rom. But for whatever reason, when I'm recieving an incomming call all it does is display up on the screen, no vibrate, no ring tone, nothing. I've tried switching modes, ringtones, moved ringtone volume to max and vibrate and still it doesn't do anything... Am i missing something here?
Oh and I forgot, every other sound works, such as text messages ... Just nothing for phone calls!
