hey all i was wondering if theres a program or some way to export the threaded sms from wm6.1 to a txt file... or anything that i'd be able to read on my computer
thing is.. i have over 6000 msgs on my phone.. and its slowing down my phone like crazy..
so... all suggestions are very welcome...
Try Jeyo Mobile Companion, its what I use to backup texts ect!
thing is.. i have a problem wit my activesync.. i mean it wont connect but it charges.. w/e.. its not the point.. i just need a program to do it thru the phone not on the computer...

Tried turning off "advanced network functionality" in "usb to pc" on your phone?
This is an alternative sms client.

I dont think there's a sms >> text converter that will run on your phone, but ill have a look around for you.

RJV SecureInbox 2002, was an app for WM 2002/03 SE phone edition. They may have continued development, search for that app and see if you can find any WM5 progress because that app did exactly what you wanted.
I've found the cab file and installed it but unfortunately it doesnt lock the inbox. There any other applications?

nah, cant lock the whole device.. my gf need to made some calls from my "free" phone when i got my spare nokia 7380 but i don't want her to read all my sms...

I use SMSorganizer to backup my inbox (text/mms) using the export function in case my rom update doesn't go to well.
You could export your text inbox and delete them, at the end of the day you could restore them.
Try Device Application Locker (DAL)..google around a bit!!

Hi Guys. This might be somewhat of a ingnorant question but it doesnt hurt to ask.
I have a Cing 8125, is there a interface program from PC to phone to where I can sent text messages done on the pc and then send them thru the phone. like ie Motorola Phn tools....

Frens, I think my bluetooth has a problem..when I want to send files I can..but when others want to send me file..their phone will likely said send error..any solutions? THanks

Make sure, that 'Receive all incoming beams' is selected in Settings--> Connections--> Beam.

Is it happenin' in case of some particular file formats ? When did this problem begin ?
I also dun know when it begins but yesterday when I told my fren so sent me her photos..her phone keeps say send error -_- but its her phone..so I thought her phone is broken..but when using the other phone to send me file it also the same =( strange..I can send files but I can't accept file..help

Are you usin' the original ROM, or have you flashed it ?
I need a program so send SMS through my Rhodium with my laptop. I've googled the **** out of it, but I can't find anything that works with WinMo. its all Symbian :/

my mobiler allows you to view and control the phone on your laptop screen with the keyboard and mouse....???
anything simpler, and maybe free?
you can send text messages through www.t-mobile.com but youll only be able to recieve through your phone. other option is google voice. you can see all your sent and received plus you can spam certain numbers + a whole lot more only thing is that you have to get a new phone number but that can be linked to your cell phone.
other option is totally seperate from your phone. gmail allows you to send and receive text messages through their chat box. you just have to turn on the options through the setting.
last option that i know of is aim.... just add the phone number as a buddy and you can send and receive text messages.

+1 i just tried it...Love it. Connects to activesync and Outlook..I use it connecting bluetooth through activesync....and send messages from outlook...SImple process

what do you want it to do instead? There is a file somene posted in one of the forums to disable AS
I just set the phone to connect as a disk drive when I don't want it to connect via AS.
I think this is in settings -> system -> connect to pc. there is an option for always ask as well. i have that ticked so I can decide when I plug it in.
