Vasquez Talk To Me 0.1.4 - Speaking clock - Windows Mobile Development and Hacking General

Tested on HTC P4350 Herald with stock WM6 unbranded.
The purpose of this is to have the handheld tell me what time it is in the way I choose.
I first made a mortscript to do that (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2450016&postcount=659), but I wanted it to have the dignity of a stand-alone app (I have nothing against mortscripts though, they're brilliant). Since my experience with developing for windows, and even more so developing for windows mobile, == NULL, I looked (once again) for ways to get all set up and learn very quickly.
After being reminded for the nth time (it's an every-six-months or so process, recursive) that no, you don't infact learn c++ quickly, even less some newish language you've never seen before, I stumbled onto PPL, what I would think of as a script interpreter with a fairly easy to use IDE.
The result of my few hours of fighting with PPL is attached below for the joy of all children and elderly people.
Installation:
Place the contents of the zip in a folder wherever you like on the device, then link buttons or shortcuts at leisure to vasquez.exe.
Settings:
The file setup.exe modifies the few settings for the app.
Actor - which sounds set to use (only default available for now);
Format - hh mm only for now, to be joined by "o'clock", "and a half", "quarter to" and so on;
AM/PM - use am/pm or not where appropriate;
12/24 - use a 12 or 24 hours cycle.
Note that using 24 hours the AM/PM setting is ignored.
Bottom Line:
PPL, while easy to use and learn, has its downs:
1) an app that would have taken a few kbs requires instead more than 2mb, because of having to pack the interpreter together with the code (only to be expected really);
2) it takes a while to run the app (each exe being ~1.2mb) and it feels oddly wrong having to wait a few seconds for such a settings menu to appear (you'll see what I mean if you try).
It is my intention to develop this further, although I'd much prefer to rewrite it "properly" using Cwhateversappropriate or .NET or dunnowhat.
But first I'll have to find someone to tutor me through the setting up stage because I always stop before even starting. (Anyone ? Hih, hih. )
Thanks for bearing with my rambling.

nice little app.
comments:
- maybe you could recode your checkbox' so that when AM/PM is selected, the 24Hr checkbox will automatically be unchecked, and vice versa.
- the wav file's volume are a bit low

using a lang interpretator or managed framework would always have its cost and overheads.
I always prefer to build utility using native Win32 instead of .NET for the same reason, especially if I am interested just to get the job done and need to keep it lean and mean...

What's the deal with the various Visual Thisandthat ? Do they work like this (with all the understandable differences) or are they as lean and mean as any notepad-made C++ ?

great app i use it avery day. Is there any plans to update it? could you plz add the feature to use a diferent wav file for sayin 1hr and 1min, cause I made spanish sounds for your app but when it says One One AM, in spanish should be Una Uno AM, but there is only a file for the 1.

very cool clock...did not know this even excisted. Nice work!

thanks for this,
however the sounds are very quiet so when i get home tonight ill amplify the sounds and see what they sound like.
if they sound good ill uplaod the amplified sounds for you if you dont mind?

http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=a45ecf896a5e1c6ed5a101cf914073b42df98b593799bd67
I have done some playing and here are three level of sounds:
quiet is just normal if you want to use original sounds
medium is amplified by 400%
Loud is amplified by 800%
anymore and distortion was really noticeable. Just extract the files and replace default sounds with the sounds from the folder you wish.

hi, how to i link the vasquez.exe to buttons? any recommended programs?

Any chance of wma support as these files can be made much smaller, Bug found i get a crackling when time is played i have tested with different sound samples and it's still present still great and i look forward to watching this app grow
I am running 6.5 on omap 200mhz

Just copy a shortcut to your \Windows\Start Menu\Programs folder and through Settings - System - Keys link it to a hardkey

speaking clock not working
found out what I did wrong!

Thank you very much!
I am a visually impaired user of Windows Mobile, this program is great, no more getting my reading glasses to see the time. I dedicated a button to use this program on my phone. I finished some new voices both male and female.
Here is the download link ----->

It is time to update the really good app a little bit?
I have read some issues here. So about this, my question..

excellent application, exactly what i was looking for

Nice
Plz built it that way,at every hour it speaks automatically....Thank you..

I needed such application because when i ride a bike or something, then i could use my earphone (just push the call button, say the name of the application to launch it....as you say the name to call someone, same thing) to listen to the time without having everytime to take my phone out of the pocket.
It doesn't work....because everytime i click on the .exe, windows asks me 'are you sure you want to run this application?' that's because it's an unknown .exe....sure you know what i'm talking about.
So the thing with the earphone and the vocal command wouldn't work because i would always have to click on 'yes' after that safety warning. How can i remove that warning ?

Disable "not signed" warnings for unsigned apps
try this it's just a couple of reg settings to remove that warning

Today Plugins: which is most used?

Cause of low memory space i need to know how many users prefer a today plugin instead another.
Ps: If is Others (must have similar today functions of the softwares in the poll) , please write something about it!
Thanx for your contribute and sorry fotr my BAD english!
SkizZO: that's a very big question. What do you want your plugin to do? Many of us use many different plugins for very different reasons.

I generally use cLaunch as a launcher, or my own plugins. But if you want to read about different plugins, please have a good long read here and here.
V
I know I know (...i've forget claunch!!!)
You have to install ONE of this Plugins, and i want to discover which is most used by Magician users.
As a task closer, I use my VJOkButt. It's not perfect, but it works well for me. For launching, I use cLaunch. With SmallMenu as a startmenu replacement, that's pretty much everything I need.
V
I use PZP.

however i hope spb is + used... but isn't a little heavy??
Currently i'm running Ilauncher (for icons)+ GSPocketMagic (taskManager)
(+Pocketweather+PZP+Egress+messaging)
and i would to change this "configuration"
@vijay555: i am talking of Today Plugin that put icons on the screen (and others individuals functions)
I use Resco explorer's Plug in.. I find it very nice and light... it shows battary, memory..etc, also allows you to add your own apllications shortcuts into the today screen....
very nice one indeed

ok you've right! but all the software in the Poll has this function.
xcuse me
Calendar+ and PPCprofilesPRO.
Regards,
Arto.
Currently ?
- JGUI Zodiac Date (jeus for the date, and it doesn't pop up anything if you accedently tap it )
- tAgenda (used to have Tasks, Inboy and CalenderPlus, tAgenda makes all three obsolete)
- Oh, and Nakka's TDLaunch, because it let's can configure Iconsize and margins !
Not really a Today Plugin, but it replaces Todays info perfectly : W-Tools ResInfo (yes, Battery stats, Storage and Mem gauge in the Tray! It even shows charging )
My taskmanager is PocketNav, and i use the camerabutton as TodayToggleOFF and the memobutton for TodayToggle (Hi Vijay ! Great tools ! Normaly i would have taken a dozen pictures of side of my pants !
Now nothing really serious happens if the buttons get pushed accedentaly!)
Wow, someone actually uses TodayToggle?!
There's a name I haven't head for a looong time
I like it, but I will really have to think of something useful to do with that app some day!
V
Well, it's usefull enough for me.
I used to have "Today" under a button, but always shutdown the PPC afterwards, so.......
And if i use TTN5, i don't want to PPC to trun of, hence....
AND i always had a problem with accendently pressing the side buttons, and now the at least don't open "Tasks" or like i said, worse; the camare and starts shooting...
Btw, i tried Hidestart, but it doesn't seem to do anyting but temp. show time and batt %....
I'm still looking for all kinds of "Thumbs only" or "Thick fingers" solutions, i use my PPC a lot 'one handed' or in the car...
Espec. setting snooze to 15 min. or so in the car is considdered 'reckless driving'
I haven't developed HideStart any futher than a very early preview a long time ago. I've got some ideas about changing the way notifications are presented, particularly in VJSihaya, but I still like the idea of HideStart.
However, I think that when you "ghost" reminders, they still try to silently activate themselves from time to time, which causes your current app to lose focus, which is irrititing if you're typing something. I thought it was a bug in my code until I realised this. However, I still use it to ghost reminders from time to time when I'm too busy to snooze them all
It's possible some code I wrote for the upcoming release of VJOkButt (used to get around incoming call notifications) might be of help here... but HideStart is not a priority right now unfortunately. I actually just developed it for my own use in a modified version so that I could switch between Start Bar, New Bar and ToggleToday. It shouldn't really have been released, but I thought the reminder remodeling code was a useful idea to demonstrate... more later, I've got work to do

So do i, if it worked If i only could find a decent prorgamming/scripting language for the PPC. Although Mortscript is pretty nice, it misses so features....
And i'm not really a programmer, more like a scripter... Maybe i should take some time to dive into VB or eVB (I can do quite nice things in Acces on the desktop !)

[new release] VJEschaton

Ok guys, I said no more releases this weekend, but oltp asked for an app to hard reset, and Bartito wanted uptime, so here we go:
VJEschaton
This program is used to soft reset, hard reset, toggle display, toggle LEDs (possibly!) and get Uptime for your PDA.

I think the LED code still needs tweaking, but I won't use it, so it's up to you!
V
Version 0.3 exe only. Launch the exe to find out what shortcuts/command line parameters to use.
www.vijay555.com/vj/releases/vjeschaton/vjeschaton.exe
EDIT: guys, an observation. Because of the way WinCE cab manager works, I can only make shortcuts with command lines if I install real .lnk shortcuts. However, this means they only work if you install to the default location. If you install elsewhere, please modify the shortcuts to reflect the new location
Version History:
v0.11 Initial release
v0.12 Minor hard reset update
v0.2 Various beta features like sleep, memory clean up
2009.03.13 v0.3 Added Blackstone poweroff and a load of other stuff
V,
Thanks man, very useful & easy handling too (again). Small addition: reset the soft-reset counter, clear cookies, clear PIE history, clear PIE cache, clear recent program list, clear all together.
This app. could really clean up a device like anyone wants to. I like to keep certain cookies, xda-dev eg, but ditch all the others. & cleaning up the cache is always useful. I noticed that Memmaid & others somehow clean to much, so I have to login again.
Anyway thanks & have a nice weekend,
M
VJ,
nice tool. Another great work.
oltp, I was thinking of clearing the startmenu, but yeah, why the hell not go all out!?
I'll try to get some new stuff added. But slowly. I'm spending this weekend fixing old programs first
V
V,
Take it easy, they were just some ideas. Not meant to be pushing you. Next time I think of something I'll wait a week before telling you . The WM OS isn't perfect & I'm still searching for the perfect add-ons, maybe a complete tabbed today-screen, instead of the small tabs from SPB plus including functions for hardwarekeys to switch tabs & tasks (but I think it exists already).
Shoot done it again ;-)
M
I hope VJSihaya will do some great things with the today screen.
However, if the research is successful, I will try to spin off some of the stuff into the normal Today screen... no promises or more detailed ideas for now :wink:
V
Do I see a sign 'Do not disturb' on your door? Yes I think I do. I'll leave you with your developments, there enough questions for a weekend work in the other VJ threads all over the board.
Cheers, M
Can u do it Vijay
Hi Vijay,
Thanks for all the Hard work done...But I request if u can do this simple request...
-U know that in our PPCs, if we have to set a Ringtone we have to either copy that file in WIndows/Rings or keep the file open in the phone..which is a memory consuming work.WHat I suggest is the Tones system followed by Symbian...in say any Nokia phone, wherein, if the supported fornats tones are in the \Sounds\Digital\ folder..the tone setter programme identifies it and these are automatically listed and can be set.
Bottom line. a Prog or Reg Hack which will allow us to set Rintone from a Folder in SD/MMC without using 3rd party softs as Photo Contacts,Ringo etc
Can this be done???
The Ring key in your registry tells you where the ringtones are stored. Just change the stringvalue directory to something else, like \Storage\Windows\Rings\
Don't forget the last \. & keep in mind that the sd-slot becomes disabled after some time & the ringtone won't be heard then. Better make them small (mp3) & store them in memory (internal storage might work too)
Cheers, M
Thanks oltp
V
I think I did not explain it properly...
What I want to say here that when a person goes to sounds and notifications...can we add an option as "Browse"..which will show all the audio files and folders and then one can select and customize...this will help newbies to easily set the tones...
I hope now I am clearer
M$ has made file explorer for this so you can use the set as ringtone option. It's two step, it's M$. Or some genius needs to build a new cpl for it, VJRings? Not sure wether PZP does this, but PPCPhone profiles does partly.
M
Probably could be done, but I don't really have the time to play with it right now. I'm bug fixing tonnes of old stuff first
V
hehe... cool stuff Vijay!
hey guys, I think, that there must be 100s of little VJs coding at ViJays place...
maybe they are 555 at least...
;o))))
buzz
Lilo & Stitch
V is more like Stitch, only experiment 555 was good enough
Something like that! Someone's been cloning me, but decided to keep the ugliest one! (there's a joke in a joke for all you bioengineers)
VJEschaton looks like it'll be a useful place to dump lots of little functions. When I get a bit more time I'll add some of the cleanup stuff Oltp suggested. For now, watching The Burbs with Tom Hanks.
You know, I actually slept and wrote code in a dream. Somehow it was for unlocking the universal. Wish I knew how the hell I wrote that. I'm starting to worry though :shock:
V
PS Buzz, yesterday I was one click away from making the "purchase" I pm'd you about. What do you think? Worth a shot?
hi ViJay,
...just checked your PM.
I think, that upgrade will not do...
anyway, you are so unbelievable productive... were you saving all that stuff over the whole previous year, and now just releasing it? ;o))))
dream about unlocking universal... right?
I was always getting such feeling, that i'll do something with the rom, ram or all those funny tweaks on hima, when I was on my way to work... and then I did.. like I knew it before, I mean...
so please keep dreaming about unlocking universal. you are on the way to do it.
buzz
That's the weird thing, unlocking isn't my area! leave that to the real brains
Don't know why I was dreaming about it. Have you seen the thread about the Uni unlocker on ebay? Suspicious.
Hmm - upgrade.. that's a shame. I think I'm going to start a "charity" campaign. So many hacks possible from there - I was thinking of another, assigning apps to the wired headset key like on the Treo... what do you think of the "campaign"?
V
hello vijay555,
i'm very agree to you for your support !!
i have tested your new release (only the uptime option)...
in my opinion, the uptime option don't work correctly...
i have sreset the device at 14:22 and at the 14:31 the uptime option shows: uptime: 0 days, o hours, 1 minute.
i have sreset the device at the 14:22, and after 1 minute i have disconnected the screen (clicking at the on/off button). in my opinion the uptime option only counts the time meanwhile the device is on.
i'm interested in count all the time intra soft-resets (if it is possible intra charges) ))
regards and thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's exactly right Bartito, uptime counts the time that the CPU has been on.
If you want to record time between soft resets, well you need an application that runs on \windows\startup, logs time to a file/registry, and then next time it loads, it compares these times.
Uptime just records the time the system is awake.

Looks nice and simple. Will try it out. How exactly does it work? tap tap a button to go to the next alphabet/character?
no no... tap to select character group and second tap to enter the desired char. So for every char you must tap twice. Looks maybe very slow but give it a try write some test messages and after a while you will improve in write speed

Why do you have to tap first to 'select' a group? Wouldn't it be easier to skip the selection and type an 'a' with a single tap?
Second, Maybe it's a good idea to change the layout to the default layout. ([abc] [def] etc)
But keep up the good work

What might be a good idea is to incorporate a function like to PCMKeyboard http://www.pocketcm.com/index.php
If you tap & hold say the shift key, then a popup with choices appears and you slide over to the choice, that way you keep you same setup and a user only taps once for a letter.
hmm... I can try to make clear TapTap layout. When you want to write on touch-screen with one hand and one finger (thumb) and don't want to concentrate on it (imagine when you are walking the street so you cannot&don't want to concentrate only on your PDA) you need REALLY BIG controls. But when you have big controls you haven't much space for other things like for the program you are writting in. So you want SMALLER keyboard what has BIG controls. And that is exactly what TapTap layout is all about TapTap is also adjusted for all people. You can train your thumb and write very fast but when you don't want or cannot write fast there is no problem TapTapSMS won't rush you. On standart GSM phones you must press button once (perfect state), twice or three times (sometimes even more times) to write desired char and it must be in time limit. In TapTapSMS there is no time limit so you can write how fast you want/can. Of course pressing real buttons is really different than pressing "nothing" on touch-screen. But on PDA you haven't real buttons I mean PDAs without hardware phone keyboard (e.g. Asus P525) or big hardware keyboard like on Vario (BTW "Vario" keyboard is not very comfortable because you must use TWO hands and two fingers).
So I hope you now undrestand
BTW can somebody test it on any slow device (e.g. 200MHz CPU) like Vario? I'm interested if it is usable (fast buttons redrawing) on slow devices. On my A701 it's fast but it has 520MHz CPU...
Thanks, I understand if this is the direction you want your app. to go.
I tried using the PCMKeyboard and it worked fine except it did not increment the character counter.
I get it
Looks Good, I see the idea you're goin' for...prolly wont b the most popular app in the world but looks very usefull for those who are looking for a one hand intuitive sms keyboard. I'll try it out tomorrow n let ya know what i think.

Hi, I'm using a HTC Prophet, overclocked to 221MHz using the stock ROM 2.2, WM5. Your program runs without hitch and without lagging on my device, probably because I'm not used to the interface and am very slow when using it.
I like the idea of big buttons for one thumb use but it seems very slow to use, but then again, I'm still not used to the interface and it could be just me. Another thing is the space button, I'm used to having a space button below the alphabets, like a computer keyboard. To me that is more intuitive.
Just my 2 cents worth.
BTW TapTapSMS is for now oriented mainly for right-hand users so on the right side you have the most used controls: SPACE and BACKSPACE.
Great Job
Works fine on my wizard. WM6 touchflo clocked to 247...send lags slightly, but not much more than usual. Overall its a great app. I agree with the spacebar idea...seems like it should b below alpha. keep up the good work
seems to be a nice idea. just need to be familiar with it. thanks man.
keep up the good work.
The link you posted (http://www.miousers.co.uk/viewtopic.php?p=19705#19705) points to a forum which has a secondary link (http://mujweb.cz/www/birkof1/A701/TapTapSMS_nova-alpha.zip) that cannot be connected to. Can you post the file to the xda-develoopers forum instead of some czech server?
I don't know but for me the link is not broken Try searching google Sorry about it
BTW one of the main goals of this program is to reveal programmers that it is possible to make program which can be easily controlled only with your finger (and also with joystick - it's still one-hand controlling) and still is there enough space for other things.
EVERY PROGRAMMER who wants to make FREEWARE program and wants to use this controlling technology is welcome and he/she can FREELY use it and modify it to his/her own needs/ideas (of course it would be nice mention my name in program's credits). And of course there is no need to ask me for any permission... I have done it for the PDAs community FOR FREE
Of course if you wants to use it for commercial product you must contact me for my permission (BTW I have already gave some for now ).
small UPDATE... if you choose bad char group then tap on small "x" above main write buttons.
installed on Himalaya WM6 Aku7, most recent .NET,

or one of its dependencies.
Have seen this with rare other .NET programs, most do work.
hmm... try to delete DLL libraries provided with the program.
your taptapsms download comes as a stand alone .net exe with no dll's. It does start on my PC, .net can be so funny
update, sorry, did something stupid while unzipping, found the dll's still inside the zip.

Brins0net_EventSounds

I've made a simple program to modify the registry entries concerning the sounds made on certain events inside the Windows Mobile operating system, such as the sound played when an error occurs, or when you open a program.
To enable the new events on your device, run the program, then reboot. Once rebooted, open it again to configure the new sound events. Sound files can be stored anywhere on the device, or a connected storage card, although I'd recommend keeping them on the device.
Since this program modifies registry entries, there is always an element of danger, and things could go wrong. Although I've tried to deal with all of the possibilities where problems occur, some configurations may cause problems, you accept responsibility for any damage which occurs, although I will do my best to help you fix the problem.

Requirements:
.NET Compact Framework v3.5
Windows Mobile device (should work with WM2003 and up, I've tested with WM6.1)
A collection of "wav" files
Please feel free to comment on my work, I hope it'll prove useful for someone. I've not yet come across any other PDA based application to do what this one does, so i'm hoping it may stirr up some interest.
Note: Some of the menu items have not been used at this time, and will not do anything when you click on them...
WOW!!! This is a great idea! One question. I have long wanted the "tick" sound when i type on my PocketCM Keyboard with out the annoying ticks on the screen for general selection of items. Is it possible to apply a silent sound to all general screen taps but still allow the tick sounds when the on screen SIP is being used?
It may be possible, although that would involve changing a different part of the registry, not related to the one I have used. I will look into it for you when I start developing again...
Works great thank you very much!
1. I have no program icon though (not a big deal) my menu background is solid black so all i see is a black square. Is your program icon tranparent or black or something?
2. Also, the tools soft-key doesn't do anything, what is it supposed to do?
3. Also, mention that .net CF is required (I didn't have it)
Thanks again.
Good idea . Goin to try later..can u post some sounds please. Cant find any good 1s.

Do you have Windows Vista? Look in your \Windows\Media\ Folder, I got all the sounds I used from there, they're better sounding than what comes with Windows Mobile by default.

1. Yes, it's a black "B" on a transparent background, so it'll not show there i'm afraid...
2. I've mentioned in the post at the top, that not all of the soft keys do things currently, and will most likely be used in later versions.
3. I have already mentioned above that the .net compact framework 3.5 is required for it to work, although this should be included as part of WM6.1... Correct me if I'm wrong though please...
Glad you like it though, are the any changes you can suggest, possibly better descriptions for the events? Some of them don't appear to be used on all devices, I've tried to work out what they do, but making an event fire, when you don't know what causes it, is not easy

If you look on the downloads section of my site (http://brins0.net/) there is a package of the Windows Vista sound effects that come as one of the ultimate extras which I have extracted from my installation.

Thanks! Ignore 2 and 3, I totally missed that bottom paragraph under the images! My fault
As for the icon, I just used the SK Shortcut manager to create a link and assign a different icon

I had thought of revising the icon and adding a 1px white border around the "B", so look out for it in the next release... Glad you like using it

Just make a shortcut to your start menu if you want; do it manually or use Resco explorer, for example.
Project has been given a new name due to the ground-up rebuild, please update any subscriptions you may have for the project...
It can now be found HERE under the new name "Tonality"
Enjoy.

[APP][2010/07/02]AppGrouper, a simple catagorised app launcher

Hi!
I'm a longtime lurker, ever since I got my Touch HD when it first came out and I NEEDED to have an english rom instead of a dutch one. Thanks to this place, my phone runs exactly how I want it to (most of the time ).
Except for a decent app launcher. I HATE the win6/6.1 scrollist ones, allthough the startmenu after that sucked a little less. I liked the yotacenter launcher, but in the end I just ran out of space and had to hit the "all apps" button too often and scroll through a huge list.
So I wrote my own in c# under .net 3.5.
And, seeing as I got all my tweaks and fixes from you guys, I thought I should give something back; in essence a quick and dirty app launcher which does exactly what I want: organise the programs I use the most.
It's a catagory per page, has menu, contextmenu and top-scroll-bar driven UI and you can add your own background:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I wrote it to be as device independant as I knew how, but I've really only tested it on my Touch HD1, so I'm really curious as to how it runs "in the wild" (or even on any other HD ). To save some effort, I've just packaged the .exe, which should run from any location. If it doesn't, \Program Files\AppGrouper\ should do it.
It should come with a default background and an icon...for this initial release [call it a beta] I didn't create a cab, so you'll have to copy/edit an existing .lnk file to get the program to show up in the windows\startmenu\ .lnk files so you can use a launcher to launch my launcher (yeah, I get the irony ), or just start the app from the exe.
Anyway, as I said this is the first application I'm releasing to the public, so please give me some feedback I have no idea what "unknown unknowns" this app'll run into on different machines than my emulator and my own Touch HD. The only deletion the program can do is to a specifically named .xml file it generates itself, so it should be safe enough
PS: as I was entering the tags to this post, I realised that this type of software could have been made and released many times: I've only used MS's launcher and the yotacenter one, so any ideas and/or other similarities to other launchers is coincidence and a case of simultanious devellopment (or in my case, retarded devellopment ). Again, any feedback is appreciated, from bugs to implementation to "you've totally ripped off x!". 'Cause I didn't, but I'd like to know about x
Anyway, I hope someone can use this!
Nice apps. The Title Folder box ought be longer to fit the text
Hehe
Ok, so I guess I'll have to set up an auto resize routine for the textsize and the textbox ... check back in a day or two
BTW, what device did you use this on? I'm curious to know if the program works correctly on devices other than touch hd's, too.

Thanks
Thanks for sharing!
I think mortbutton can do better than this
Ok app. thanks for sharing
By default can you pick up start menu and folder under it as group?
Else I think mortbutton can do far better job than your program. + .netcf 3.5 requirment
Thanks for sharing it. Few things I noticed
while trying to add an to a folder a drop down menu reveal 3 options - the first one is to add an app, what is the second one? it is blank on my tp2?
after running an app it stays in memory. is this how you designed it? i would prefer if it closed after running an app
finally, can you list here launchers that you came across that are standalone apps, meaning they do not sit in memory or eat CPU. i am looking for something like that with folders/tabs like yours and self-close after use.
thanks for sharing. i have one single question. i have installed it on my herald, but i cannot add more then one app to a group. am i missing something?
Sweet launcher! Thank U
I like your application!
As being an anti manila user Until now I was addicted to Program Finder plugin (attached) running on the Today Screen. Unfortunately the Today Screen does not have the SIP toggle in the bottom bar plus sometimes the Today Screen needs a refresh, due to Program Finder being an very old program; its messing up the Today Screen.
Therefore I searched the whole internet and finally after searching for 1 year I found [attachment]ToggleInputPanel.exe[attachment]. I'm executing programs via icons by running Easy Today Launcher.
Your application is a welcome alternative, thanx again! o/~
