That looks interesting, especially if your going to an event and "cameras" are not allowed. It might affect resolution when it comes to zoom probably, just a thoght.

And it's only $23 bucks, i might give it a try...for the hell of it...

I think I am going to give it a try. It would be a good idea if we post pictures with and without using item. I will have to wait until my next payday to order one (Dec. 23).

Mmmm Well I have no proof of this but:
1 Fiddly and time consuming to set up. Lining up Camera with the lens.
2 The more you zoom in the more exposure you need otherwise the picture will be excessively dark
3 The definition will be OK but if the exposure time is off it'll still be naff.
4 I just wonder how auto-focus will cope. Will it focus on the gadget or on the image coming through the gadget.
5 For that price, I doubt there's much quality involved.
But hey as someone above said, for that price you might want to try it.
Frankly though, a camera with an optical zoom would be more practical.
I've often thought it would be possible to make lots of money selling cheap stuff that does not work well and folk never ask for their money back because it was so cheap to begin with. I hope this is not in that category.

Does this device come in blue?

I have the camera lense that is originally questioned, I will take some pics and post. it DOES work, and it DOES fit our phones. Yes, you have to set it up, but once set up, it is fairly quick to install. BUT - It does not fit our field of view. The picture ends up like this:

I can't stand finding cool apps that are for the iphone but not WinMo. Any devs want to take a stab at this one? There is even a simple API to do it. I would do it, but I don't have VS Pro

Wow, what did we do before the invention of GPS enabled mobile phones with internet connections? Oh, yes, thats right, we used those strange orbs below our foreheads and that funny squishy grey stuff between our ears to work out where a dunny was... really, people, what will the next "app" be? How about "Let me wipe it for you", where your iPhone's display turns into a piece of... well, you get the idea - really!

I think it looks super cool and really makes the phone look different from the others. Personally, I think the EVOs back looks black and ordinary without the carbon fiber.

I have the CDMA HTC Diamond and was extremely relieved when the CDMA Diamond didnt get that battery cover.
To me that looks hideous and borderline cheezy.
I for one love the battery cover of the evo.

The cool factor of the diamond back wears off real quick. The points wear off if the phone is pocketed, and the create an uneven surface, aka wobbly laying flat.

Hmm, that would probably annoy me greatly as I like everything to look and be perfect, or as perfect as something can be. Haha.
I don't mind the evos (Better than the droid incredible's back by far), but I think it looks a lot better with the carbon fiber. I always use the kickstand when I set it down too. I figured out if you push in on the on the short side of the hinge, it pops right out.

Care to explain, because so far, it's posted in the EVO gen forum, and the title says "Why couldn't HTC have done something cool with the battery cover like they did here..." and then a video showing the back of an HTC phone that's different than most phones.

all a matter of opinion I suppose ... way I see it that diamond back looks pretty lame.
why not just have the regular back and if people want to make their phone look cooler, or not cooler - depending, then they have the option.

the battery cover suits the diamond cuz it does look like diamond cuts battery cover.wouldnt look rite on the EVO,but OP's carbon fiber defenetly looks NICE on the EVO.

The gel skins probably will not fit just because of the gel itself. It adds a small amount of bulk to achieve the 3D effect that makes it pop, it actually almost does not fit into the speaker dock with the gel skin. I will try and get better pics up soon to show you what I mean.
You will be fine with the basic skin or the scratch resistant skin, as they do not add any bulk at all. The gel skins are the only one's that differ from the others. Plus they are 50% off, unlike the others. I think the gel skins are the best, even if they do add a tiny bit of bulk. They look and feel so much nicer than the other two choices once you get it on there.

Everything is updated now. More to come soon enough. I hope this thread goes somewhere in the long run just like the "post your Honeycomb screenshots" one did. How nice would that be.
If this thread goes well I'll add in a user top rated section to the OP for the one's that stand out the most.

I totally want a anime style case and make sure it stands out when I'm out in public.

Indeed. You can use the designs that they provide you with or you can upload your own photos and resize them to fit the Xoom like what I did with mine. You can even add in your own text as well, maybe your name or something. You'll have to play around with the skin maker for a bit on their website. It always takes me a long time to skin something because I always try 50 different things before I can make a final decision. You need to make sure that it looks perfect. Once the skin is printed out it... it's a done deal. Lol.
I would love to see an anime style one. That would be pretty sweet! Keep us posted.

Since this thread has to do with skinning... can a mod please move it to Xoom accessories? I made a mistake by putting it in general, as it is way too busy there. I think this thread is a good idea and needs some more attention. It should help a lot of people I hope. Thanks!

Propaganda, and all those. You'd need to practically wear shirts DESIGNED to be see through from the IR spectrum, which idk if they even make such a thing to begin with. I only found one instance I could see through something, and that is my switch controller, the right one, has a tiny IR black plastic cover.

Mate it 100% does see through particular materials.

But honestly, it works with very cheap blaco nylon clothes, but its not that you could see through everything, as stated on some media.
Really hope Oneplus keeps it.
