Upgrade Qtek 1010

A friend of mine has a Qtek 1010 with the details given below. Can I upgrade the ROM... and where can I find the ROM - stable version please.. Thanks.

QTEK 1010 - upgrade help

A friend of mine has QTEK 1010 device (which I suppose is thie Wallaby). The current details is as follows,
Details given under System Details
ROM version 3.14.06 ENG
ROM DATE : 10/01/02
Radio version T313
Protocol Version 32554
Hardware ARM SA1110 Speed 206Mhz
RAM size 64Mb
Flash 32Mb.
I checked the WIKI page. Which ROM version can I download??
- QTEK English 3.16.13 ???? is the latest for QTEK. Should I use this
- T-Mobile English 4.01.16 ??? This has latest version #, can I use this??

You can use all ROMs listed in Wiki.
If you want to upgrade to WM2003 i would suggest to use the 4.01.12.
Otherwise you could use the 3.20.06 or 3.17.03

I had given the 3.18 version the last one listed in the QTEK - ENGLISH version. Works like charm now...

Qtek 1010 RSU

Hi,
I have a small problem and I don't know what to do.
As I disovered romkitchen I started to upgrade my qotek 1010 and now I see that on the back of my device it is written that it's a PW10A2 model and in my device information it is said that I have PW10B1.
As far sa I know PW10A2 means that I have a device 900/1800 and PW10B1 means 900/1900.
Is it very bad?
How should I deal with it?
my actual rom ver is 4.02.04 ENG and radio ver is 3.19.01 ( which I have also upgreaded before I'd read that it is better not to do so )

The naming in the ROM are fixed and do not depend on the real hardware settings. But that do not matter in using the device....

This is the HTC Love, use any of the roms listed in the Artemis WM6 area. I'd recommend Meschle Vanilla or Black and Blue 4.3.

hmmm, HTC Love is artemis with wifi ,but without GPS.But DOPOD D802 has no wifi installed, and i dont know how to confirm if any wifi module inside.

O2 XDA Mini II

Hi Folks,
Great site.
I live in Queensland, Australia and speak English.
Just bought myself a second hand O2 XDA Mini II off Ebay. Great phone/pda with bluetooth gps setup.
Have a few questions seeing as I am very new to this and am hoping some of you guys can possibly help so I dont stuff up my phone.
What is my phone?....I see terms like symbian etc.....not sure what mine is

ROM version: 1.12.00 WWE (what does WWE stand for?)
ROM Date: 05/28/05
Radio Version: 1.12.00 (what is this for?)
Protocol Version: 1337.42
ExtROM version: 1.12.920 WWE (what is this for?)
I have it setup with Activesync to my laptop - both bluetooth and usb.
I have been looking at the threads and have seen that there are various upgrades that can be made.
What can I upgrade and what will the upgrades improve?
What software do you recommend for this device?
Dont forget I am a noob so advice and help is needed ...

um.. I really don't know much. but I can give you my magician currently roms and spec so you can have an idea on what's others are using.
I have mine with
ROM version: 1.13.00WWE
ROM Date: 08/18/05
Radio version: 1.13.00
Protocol version: 1337.43
With big storage you can have your storage drive bigger (for mine, it's now 26mb).

Yours is not symbian they are ,nokia,palm etc, are symbian along with a few more, its a Windows Mobile 2003SE(second edition) phone

ExtROM version: 1.12.920 WWE (what is this for?)
Extended rom is where your device installs Provider Specific Software such as settings for MMS and internet and programs for when you hard reset the device
