**Quick Question for 8525** Thank You!

Hello,
I'm new to the whole TtYn 8525 world. I was wondering if you guys could help me out. I did a thorough SEARCH and couldn't find:
1. where to download pocketnester
2. where/how to install NES games on my 8525
can anyone help me out with a link? i remember reading a thread that had a step by step on installing both PocketNester and Games.. but i can't seem to find it..
thanks xda Folks! i really realllllly appreciate it!
1. you can find freeware applications such as pocketnester very easily on various ppc freeware sites. pdagold.com, freewareppc, etc.
(btw, http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/pocketnester.shtml )
2. regarding NES games, you have to look up game roms. just google the name of the game you want, and add in the word "rom". www.coolrom.com and www.romnation.net are my personal site picks. once you have the rom, just put it on your ppc and run it from there. it's quicker to run if you open up pocketnester on your ppc, then options>preferences>associate .NES files with nester. pocket nester only looks for NES roms in the My Documents folder, but if the files are associated, you can just doubleclick the rom wherever it is to run it.
since i like to store things on my memory card and save space on internal memory, i recommend making a folder in your storage card for pocketnester, then placing all pocketnester app and roms in that folder. then, create a shortcut to that folder in your start menu.
thank you so much azimuth, i will do this once i get my micro sd card!!
thanks again!!

Organising program files

I've been searching through my touch dual to find a way to move my games that I installed in to the 'games' folder (the one with solitaire and bubble breaker installed already), add extra folders to organise the programs installed better and move some of my programs I installed into the settings tab beacuse they all appear in the main programs list, but i have been unsuccesful so far!
There must be a simple way to do this?
Any help would be appreciated.
use file explorer, navigate to windows/start menu/programs and create any new folders you want then copy and paste the icons into the folders you want
thanks. really handy
It works!!
Thanks for that, it worked!!! I thought it would be something like that. Just one more thing, how do I move some of the apps to the 'personal' setting tab because when I put them in the setting folder, they automatically go to the 'system' setting tab.
Thanks once again!
Hey.
Thanks for this, this was very handy and guided me how to keep my files organised.
Thanks!

How to move app??

hi, I installed a game on my HD and the icon is in the Start menu...
how can I move it to the Game folder?? or in any other folder??
anyone help please.. thx..
open file explorer, go to windows folder<start menu<programs<games u'll find the icon of your game there, cut and paste it in any other place but under the programs folder. u can also create a new folder and put it there.

Help With Moving Files

Hi all, I'm a noob to the Hd2 and liking it very much, certainly beats my old Nokia n95. I'm trying to do these 2 things listed below:
Enable Hidden Default Games
Go to the Windows directory and copy bubblebreaker.exe and solitaire.exe to the games folder in Windows\Start Menu. Make sure to unhide system files
and
Enable NaviPanel Without Owning the Car Kit/Navigation Dock
Go to Windows folder and copy NaviPanel.exe as a shortcut to Windows\Start Menu folder.
I've hooked the phone upto the computer using sync and got show all files/folders hidden and system, and have found all 3 exe files, but after i have right clicked on them and copied them, when i go to paste them into the windows\start menu folder, I get an error and it won't let me put anything in there.
Is there a setting i am missing somewhere?
I'm on T-Mobile in the U.K and with stock rom.
Thanks in advance for any reply and help
+++ Bump +++
do it from within the phone, not from the pc.
browse to it in file manager, press and hold, copy, browse to games folder, press and hold, emty area choose paste as shortcut
cheers for that.
how did you find the hidden files? I, for the life of me, cant figure it out. I have resco explorer btw.

Bubble Breaker and Solitaire question

I tried copying and pasting these into the games folder in the start menu/programs/games folder but when I try to paste I get an error saying "Executable and resource files in ROM cannot be copied. They are in the root of the Windows folder for some reason.
Is there another way to move these games into the games folder where they belong? I don't really get it. Why wouldn't they put them in there in the first place?
Hopefully this question hasn't been posted in here yet. I did a search and didn't find anything on it... If it has been addressed, please link me to the post. Thanks dudes!
You need to create shortcut for them in tart menu/programs/games folder (can not copy .exe files).
you can use totalcommander in your device to create shortcuts files.
I believe the stock file explorer has the ability to paste shortcuts too - just do that instead of pasting the actual file. It was one of the first things I did with mine, I heart Solitaire.

Just copy it the way you did from the windows menu but instead of a regular paste do paste as shortuct in the games folder of the start menu. Then rename...I dont know why this hid those games... bubble breaker and solitaire are awesome!
Thanks ALL!
