Hi,
I've attached my skin for the magician intelli dialer. enjoy and let me know what you think

How did u do that and which folder to put it in?

Glad you like it. PLEASE PLEASE read the ReadMe File included. Extract all the files and read the read me file.
You should copy all the files excluding the readme file into the \windows directory of your device
Once again, MAKE SURE YOU READ THE READ ME FILE FIRST

I also tried the Magneto skin, that unluckly has no indialer skin. So i mixed the great indialer of this skin, with the pads of magneto one (only in portrait mode).

Well guys i've just updated the colours of the talk+end buttons as requested above. hope you like the change.

Aladin, That's a very good work. I like it very much!
And, the picture files looks much smaller than the original picture files. This help to save some space on my O2 XDA II mini.
If possible, keep them as small as possible. Also, I notice because the picture files is smaller, it is help to launch phone quicker than before.

Hi Aladdin,
When I press the 1,2,3......*,# button, the button change to the original button. The shape and color is different from your dial-pad skin. Is there something missing?
Call History, Speed Dial, Talk and "<--" button is OK.

Thats not correct. You have to edit tapres.dll (you can find it in your windows-folder) with reshacker.

by all means mate you can go ahead and change your dial skin. just download the files i've attached, find the equivalent in your \Windows directory and change them in photoshop or any graphics program you like. it's really that simple you just need to spend a bit of time on it that's all oh, and a little bit of creativity would be a bonus

Hi mate,
Please tell me, I've been looking for this and tried your suggestion without success.
Do you mean using "Reshacker" (a windows App) to edit the tapres.dll (the dll file in my o2 mini) ?
I tried, and it did not work. I tried moving / copying the tapres.dll file to my local harddisk (on PC via activesync), so i could attempt to edit it, and the system wouldnt allow me, saying something abt ROM files cannot be copied..
could you please elaborate on your method??
I've got some dialskins copied to my /Windows dir and the only issue now is as mentioned by bros above.. ie. when i press the numeric pads, the original blue keys still shows..
please enlighten me.

My attempts at some ActionScreen graphics

Version 2. I wanted to make it look a little less "busy" so I gave it more of a see-through effect and each button is very slightly different, fitting in with a complete screen image, if you see what I mean.
Also matched the ROM colour better.
B/W version added as an alternative
Unzip files and copy to /Windows using TotalCommander or something similar.
As usual, every button you press on your PDA is at your own risk ;-)

Hey DaVince - where did you get those HTC Home icons from? They look great!

which launcher is that below the htc home plugin? I'm currently using claunch, but that one looks good.

It's the WM 6.1 ROM for the Touch Dual by tom_codon. Once officially released, I'm sure somebody will extract them and post it here.

U the man. I copied all AS files excepts for the AS_Bkgd_1.brn file and found a very nice result. Your new graphic on top of the old one. Very nice. Tried it.

I think you have to use a Resource Editor.

I was wondering this exact thing the other day!
edit the .lnk file to have this:
48#"\Windows\HTCActionScreen.exe"?<Path of icon or DLL>,<index of that icon>

Did u soft reset? Worked for me.

Quick GPS Diamond Skin

this is nothing special it did it just for me because i wanted quick gps look like the rest of my polaris. I didnt know where to post so you got it here.
Just put the three new graphics in \Windows (use totalcommander).

Honestly, I like green colour and your dialer and QuickGPS skins are in green. Spendid!

I see this is post, and i make some other theme which more similar to original diamond. I dont now how it is work because I dont have this program (maybe any body who have it is programme take out, because on my device have GPS). I think need change colour fonts (see screen). COPY ORIGINAL PICTURE IN WINDOWS AND NEXT COPY PICTURE WHO YOU DOWNLOAD IN THIS POST. Put new graphics in \Windows. Good lock!!!! If you download this is file you need change colour front, but i dont nown hav it is make. But i make some other theme.

also very nice, but i cant use it because on touchcruise the quickgps uses black textcolor, so it would be unreadable.

There is a spelling mistake in the text of QGPS "katest" should read "latest".

spelling mistakes
There are a couple more spelling mistakes besides katest which should be latest. They are "spees" should be "speed" and "date" should be "data".
edit: The spelling doesn't matter because the text is not part of the background file.

can anyone make a cab with the black diamond QGPS?

Phone dialer skins

I have been doing some hunting and I am struggling to find any VGA phone dialer skins. I use the standards windows mobile dialer to save memory and make the phone more responsive.
There is one I am aware of which I think is called Black Carbon - not sure who made it - but its not really what I want.
Can anyone point me in the right direction.

I quite like that thanks. I specifically wanted something that was not Carbon, so this was something nice to try.
It is a little err black for me perhaps! Looking for more of a selection as well, just surprised that there are not more VGA dialer skins for the WinMo dialer even created for another device.

It was made by taking the standard WM grey skin, rotating 180 degrees and darkening...

The problem is that most existing skins are QVGA!
More information and a couple of skins with transparent buttons can be found in the thread, see my signature.

It's really usefull dude, bcuz i hate to wait 3 ringtones for see a incoming call and i dont like the original grey keypad

It was the guy from the QVGA skin thread, Raceit, who inspired me to download photoshop. I've also got WinCE Cab Manager to make them into CABs but I haven't quite figured out what I'm doing with it yet!
Please feel free to post your designs in my thread, it would be great if we can build a resource all in one place, then I can try to get the thread title updated.

There actually a couple of skins included in Panosha's Shimple ROM, I haven't had chance to check them out yet because I only flashed it last night.

Update Theme New Blue focus Blue volume, Black Dialer Cab

Everything has been made a comfortable blue. This takes an extraordinary amount of time, since there are manila files, png files, bmp files and dll files that needed to be fixed. I think it is done-please give me some feedback if I have missed anything.
The cab is over 37mb so it is hosted on my web site. It is manila 2.5 2013.

The will lead you to page giving you the option to delete the link so any one can delete it which was happened with the CAB link so change the link immediately.

this looks great and would love to use this but have a few questions..I have tried Mighty (awesome ROM), I have used 7PPC (Dave Morley--very awesome) and now I am using Mr X's latest ROM..I wanted to know first how is this dialer reacting with Mighty ROM as I simply cant get this custom thing right when it comes to the dialer funtionality..I seem to get hung up trying to slide the dialer ( nearly an every day issue and when it occures I cant even answer the call)..I am guessing it could be my custom taskbar--tried to use the purian/tsowen one on the Mighty link as well the CDMA bilbo-mighty taskbar with not much luck as well..I really like the tasbar you have as well but not sure of the process (do you need sdk, nue battery etc or can you just download the cab?)--are you having any issues with this one? sorry for the long note..Your work looks great and figured I would ask..thanks again

I have no issues. And for the dialer I just flipped the pressed and normal dialers. It is a BMP file and just changed the names so that the black dialer is normal. If you want just the dialer I can cab that for you.

Ah this would be so awesome and would complete my blue theme on my phone!!!
But these aren't for Sense 2.1 are they... . I installed the dialer a few days back and the numbers were off-centered so had to uninstall it.

Would you consider an upgrade of your rom. It is easy and sense 2.5 has a lot more to offer.
But if you are sticking with the 2.1-I am sorry because I just deleted the cab I made for 2.1 when I finshed the 2.5 cab-just because it was hosted off XDA and taking up space.
I still have the 2.1 black dialer though. Install and soft reset.

You may be right. I guess the drive to be more iphone like motivates htc. But I like the weather on the home and the program links with finger scrolling. I gave up 2.1 a while ago but I can see why you might want to keep it.
I also upgraded to vista.
