Version 2. I wanted to make it look a little less "busy" so I gave it more of a see-through effect and each button is very slightly different, fitting in with a complete screen image, if you see what I mean.
Also matched the ROM colour better.
B/W version added as an alternative
Unzip files and copy to /Windows using TotalCommander or something similar.
As usual, every button you press on your PDA is at your own risk ;-)

Hey DaVince - where did you get those HTC Home icons from? They look great!
which launcher is that below the htc home plugin? I'm currently using claunch, but that one looks good.

edit the .lnk file to have this:

I have one that I'm using that doesn't require installing another app that hogs up memory. This is a simple Vista "aero" type theme and a nice dialer to match. I'm using them now and I like 'em. I think I might have even gotten them from the forum, or maybe not. Anyhow, enjoy!

Sorry, no screen shots handy right now, but all you have to do with the .tsk file is copy it to your \Windows directory. Then, go ahead and change your theme like you normally would. (Start --> Settings --> Today)

I see from your Avatar that your sporting the new Hermes headset. It's nice 'cos it doesn't require the Bluetooth connection - you just tuck the Hermes inside next to your ear and away you go; and with Wifi on it keeps your ear warm as well. I've heard a rumour that there's a dual core Hermes with twin hand-sets that keeps both ears warm. Bit itchy though??

Oh yes. You hit the nail on the head there. It's almost a full body headset, as you can see. Quite cozy in the winter... and very stylish to boot.

Not sure what the problem is, Zgembo was able to get it extracted and working. Are you just extracting the whole folder onto your desktop (or somewhere) and then moving it over to the phone?
Exactly, simple as cake... Just copy two file to any folder of your phone, and run it... Dialer (bigger .cab file) is just an option, instals as standard application... Skin (.tsk file) is very compact, and just double click it to add it to phone's themes... You can delete these files after installation...

on this one you also loose smart dial... but its a kick a$$ looking dialer skin
Maybe someone with some skills (definitely not me) can put the smart dial and video option into this dialer skin. I think this was originally created for the 8125. Shogunmark... I know you're a pro. Whatcha think?

i can build wizard roms and cabs, etc.. but when it comes to *.tsk and dialer skins, i will admit defeat.. i have tried at those and failed so many times.. its not that i couldnt create them, its that they looked horrible.. i am seriously lacking in artistic skills.. i might look into anyway since i am dying to start cooking roms but the bootloaders on these phones right now is a major roadblock.. we will see what time has in store for me

Anyone know how to fix the AeroMobile.tsk theme to support the Portrait mode? When I slide out my keyboard, the skin should strech but doesn't. I tried to fix it with MS Theme Generator, but no luck... Any suggestions? I'm using Pocket PC 2002 Theme Generator V2, as that seems to be the last release from MS.

This is one of my personal skins for the dialer in udK's ROM and Bepes, OTHERS I DONT KNOW ABOUT (so long as the layout looks like that it should be OK)
Use at your own risk... I will not be responsible for anything...this install will overwrite original dialer graphic files..so if you need to revert back...BACKUP FIRST!
This for both portrait and landscape modes
Install
Extract to a folder on storage card and move/copy to windows folder (I use Total Commander)
I have attached 2 cab files...for the complete installation of the Dialer, Progress and Call Log screens...
Please remember these are UNINSTALLABLE and your phone will need a hard reset to get rid of them.

Progress looks nice, but why not the same colour scheme like dialer white, black and green on top??

this is really goodlooking... the only problem for me is the fact that this dialer.. (this is Nadavi's dialer no?).. has small buttons... in relation to the original dialer.

2. Unzip and copy to \windows ...reset.
Please remember the icons in the white/grey dialer are a bit dodgy..if someone wants to attempt to rectify them....use reshacker with phcanoverbmp.dll and modify the 9 bmp images

To fix it by myself is a too hard job for me.

This is not for customized background. This is just to change the docks in the programs tab (the shiny black squares behind the icons) from shiny black to transparent glass.

the hooneycomb menu was lost on the last 4 public 6.5 builds, so i took the time on bringing the back.
what about the zoom vito?
Does the icons back to normal size or they are big into the hexagons, i would like to bring back the windows or start menu animation.

Well the icons are small cause personally i dont like the big ugly ones, but if you unistall my cab the start menu will go back to the big icons.

I like that the icons on your taskbar are all sized and spaced properly in the screenshot. I tried the 21198 build and the icons are unevenly spaced and the "X" was abnormally small. Looked pretty bad. I would definitely go back to a 6.5 sys if I could find one that looked as nice as your screenshot.
This was on a VGA device (Diamond).

ohh ic now, well my cab is only for qvga so it wont work with vga, but send me your cpr files(StartMenu_GridScene_xxxXxxx) the x represent your resolution you should find them in your windows folder, send me both the landscape and the portrait, and il edit them.

I dint resize the icon files them selfs, i only resized them on the cpr files but the original ones are still there, let me know if you want the icons to look bigger like they used to il make the proper changes to the cpr file.

the resizing is fine for me... i can do it... just want the icons...maybe I can resize them and send you see the first post of the xplodes new build it has an icon package... but the icons are bigger than in the old builds with hexagons...

hmmm i cant quite understand what you want to do, can you be more specific?
I'm sorry , i try to explain... I know that there are two files that are the responsable of the making visible of the exagons, the ones i called with the cpf extension (but they aren't cpf, i don't remember the extension).
Those files have to be put in the windows folder with the corrisponding png files... right?
I was looking for those files.

install my cab and go into your windows folder and look for StartMenu_GridScene_240x320.cpr and StartMenu_GridScene_320x240.cpr.

Everything has been made a comfortable blue. This takes an extraordinary amount of time, since there are manila files, png files, bmp files and dll files that needed to be fixed. I think it is done-please give me some feedback if I have missed anything.

this looks great and would love to use this but have a few questions..I have tried Mighty (awesome ROM), I have used 7PPC (Dave Morley--very awesome) and now I am using Mr X's latest ROM..I wanted to know first how is this dialer reacting with Mighty ROM as I simply cant get this custom thing right when it comes to the dialer funtionality..I seem to get hung up trying to slide the dialer ( nearly an every day issue and when it occures I cant even answer the call)..I am guessing it could be my custom taskbar--tried to use the purian/tsowen one on the Mighty link as well the CDMA bilbo-mighty taskbar with not much luck as well..I really like the tasbar you have as well but not sure of the process (do you need sdk, nue battery etc or can you just download the cab?)--are you having any issues with this one? sorry for the long note..Your work looks great and figured I would ask..thanks again

I have no issues. And for the dialer I just flipped the pressed and normal dialers. It is a BMP file and just changed the names so that the black dialer is normal. If you want just the dialer I can cab that for you.

But these aren't for Sense 2.1 are they... . I installed the dialer a few days back and the numbers were off-centered so had to uninstall it.

Would you consider an upgrade of your rom. It is easy and sense 2.5 has a lot more to offer.
But if you are sticking with the 2.1-I am sorry because I just deleted the cab I made for 2.1 when I finshed the 2.5 cab-just because it was hosted off XDA and taking up space.
I still have the 2.1 black dialer though. Install and soft reset.

"Upgrade" to 2.5? Haha it's like going from XP to Vista ;p.
I'll stick with the speed of 2.1 but thank you for the cab!! Awesome dialer !

You may be right. I guess the drive to be more iphone like motivates htc. But I like the weather on the home and the program links with finger scrolling. I gave up 2.1 a while ago but I can see why you might want to keep it.
I also upgraded to vista.
