4 buttons in incoming call screen - Windows Mobile Development and Hacking General

Sorry - Message Removed !!!

if u hit the volume slider button it will mute your phone. YMMV if you have a volume button and if it even works for you. To answer with speaker it is just 2 button press, 1 to answer one for speaker. That is too cluttered I would rather it simple with 2 button.
When someone needs to make a caller blocker, that blocks calls when such an ugly girls picture appears

Man.....NOT COOL!!!! You could have just said 'I don't think it is needed', or 'I can't do that, good luck', or even just passed on making a comment. To make a comment like that is just rude though! We don't know if they downloaded a pic of the internet for display purposes only, or if that is a relative, or spouse.....whoever it may be.
Please be more tactful in your wording, or just avoid comments if you have nothing constructive to add!!!!
yairlanz....Unfortunately I don't have a need for that many buttons either, and don't have the skills to try. Please don't get discouraged at the rest of this forum by that one post though, usually you will get constructive/helpful comments.
Good luck

answer call slider

Guys,
Is there any chance to get rid off that slider and put normal button instead?
thanx
not that i'm aware of...but give the ROM cookers time and they'll come up with a solution. for now, i simply hit the Send or End key to answer or ignore the call.

Tweaks (i think)

Well i have the Telus version of the HTC Touch Diamond. And sadly enough it does not have a light sensor (for some stupid reason). So i was wondering if somone could make/find a tweak that could make it so when you aare in a call the screen would not become useless but you just have to put a bit more pressure than you would normally. Because my cheek always touched the end button and it pisses me off. So you would just have to push a little harder to press the end button.
Also i dont like how you cant use ringtones as SMS/TXT sounds. Well you can but it just plays till the ringtone is over. I was wondering if there is a way that you can make it so when you recieve an SMS/TXT than you all you have to do is either tap the screen wthout anything happening from pressing it(unless you press the message tab), or to touch the center button (cause its touch sensetive) also without anything happening.
anyone??
the second one is just a sugestion
the 1st is a request please

Pretty sure he wants to stop the ringtone manually. As opposed to letting it play a full song of 3mins.
Dude, use the MP3 trimmer and trim an MP3 down and set that as your SMS tone. Thus no more verses and choruses, only a portion of the song.
To stop the sms ringtone, you can press the call end button, but it switch you to the home page if your doing anything on the phone.
Yes Dickenz
Thats what i want but i used the trimmer but i always use the main chorus of a song
and thats to long eveytime i get a txt
So i can just press the end button?

Volume steps are too large

Does anyone know how to change the increments that the volume changes by when using the volume buttons. They increase/decrease too much for me (increments too large). I know you can use the screen but when using the buttons you don't get this granularity/smaller step in volume

i moaned about this a while back, it's dumb, but no one seemed to agree
Use your finger ? lol
You can also change to the "sense music volume slider" (the green one with smaller steps) by reading a little here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=616917
(it doesn't work in all applications though, but most!)
I have to agree, the steps are to large. I allways have to take my phone up and use the finger to adjust it to where i want it. I know ppl say "use ur finger etc" but since the buttons are there it should't be necessary to use ur finger.

exactly, i've used my finger to bring the volume up, why do i then have to use another finger to adjust it, its balls is what it is, balls lol
Folks, I looked at the posting that was provided and it offers another screen control for the volume. What I find strange is that with all the expertise on this forum all the great Roms, Cabs, and other ingenious registry tweaks etc nobody has found a way to modify the increments (which are obviously there) to be made available to the physical volume controls.
I suspect this is because it hasn't been investigated by many as it has not been seen as something in demand. However I would like to say that it is in demand and I'll give you my reason for its request. I have my device in the car in a phone holder and when driving I wear headphones (not HTC headphones). I often need a more granular ability to change the volume through the physical controls without looking at the screen so I can keep my eyes on the road.
I am sure there are many more instances such as this where people need this.
So if there is anyone out there that can help I am sure there would be many more people than on this thread that would give thanks once such a method is discovered.
hmmm...nobody any idea how to get the volume steps smaller?

I agree that the steps are also too large! I cant' seem to change it to smaller increments.
Bump. +1
Just seen this. I often use the volume rocker when my phone is in my pocket, or when I cannot look at the screen. 1 bar increments please!
please.. we really need this..
Bumpation. This would be extremely helpful, especially when listening to music.Or ever.
... +1!
+1. Still no one found it out
There has already been an answer in this thread:

Have any of you actually tried it?

Answer a Call with only Slide to Answer?

I have not seen it in the forums...
How can I only answer a phonecall by sliding and not pressing the green call button on the farmost left?
My phonecalls keep getting answered whilst in my pocket!!

Try TouchLockPro and S2U2 and see which one your prefer. Also Vangrieg incall control.
S2U2 is the best option for this, it's free and has an option to deactivate all hard buttons with a slide to answer and full screen caller ID. As mentioned above you can also try TouchLockPro but, despite being smaller, I find S2U2's option list and features to be superior. Pocketshield is another option but that's commercial, I bought it a few months back and used it for a bit but eventually went back to S2U2.
Adding another vote to S2U2 (pick up from ac-s2.com).
GeSte - this also gives you the ability to lock phone on answer depending on profile (sort of) which will save those embarrassing `conference international friend into the middle of a work call` experiences that plagued me a couple of times before discovering the application.

Oneplus6T - not able to unmute

"phone is set to mute" is the notification.
How to unmute pls?
Thanks
You know the physical slider on the right side, just above the on/off button?
I dislike this expression but it just feels appropriate!
Oh.
My.
God!
Because getting online, asking Google, having XDA pop up in the top results, surfing there to ask just to realize you have to sign up, then do sign up, creating a thread, and waiting for an answer is so much easier than just opening up your little owners manual, you know, the one that came with your phone?!
Surreal!
