Trying to set-up Exchange but not working - JASJAR, XDA Exec, MDA Pro General

I'm trying to set up a new e-mail account on Ranju's v7.7 but the Exchange Server option is missing from the drop-down. Any ideas why or how to solve the problem?

Push Googlemail setup?

I'm having trouble setting up my googlemail email account such that it 'pushes'. I have managed to setup the account where it 'pulls' email down at specified times (hourly etc.) but I cant see an option for it to rely on 'push'.
Any assistance would be gratefully received
delete your googlemail account settings and use the Outlook option instead. set the username as your email address and the server as m.google.com. push is only enabled with googlemail through an exchange setup like this and not through standard IMAP as far as I'm aware.

Email problem

Hello..
I have a TouchHD and i've recently tried to synchronise it with my university email..all went well, i can receive emails but i can't send emails, as i get the error that something is wrong with the connection or the settings etc..
I have looked into it, and foud that there was an issue with WM6.1 and found a fix for it..but since i have change my original rom to a cooked one, the fix cannot be installed..
what now??
It sounds as if the patch you had installed to fix your SMTP issue was only intended for use with Windows Mobile 6.1.
What email account have you setup? (Gmail, Hotmail, etc)
Have you tried to recreate your email account and verify that your SMTP setting (outgoing SMTP server address) is correct on 6.5?

I'm trying to configure his clompany email exchange on the phone always give me unable to connect.
Hope u can help me with that issue

You sure his company exchange all set up ok? Make sure you are using SSL and that SSL certificates are installed correctly on the server. The sever to connect to is the same as your OWA server minus the https:// like mine for example is owa.domain.com
Mail Exchange
Hi,
had the same issue on my Galaxy running on Froyo JP6 with Exchange 2010 SP1.
It was a problem with security certificates. Fixed it by exchanging the email.apk.

An issue I had that confused me for ages with the exchange account was that I had forgotten to use my Exchange windows username to login, which was different to my email address alias.
So used to logging in everywhere with email addresses these days.
Hi,
Is he using an Internet access APN or an internal company one(with no access to internet). If this is the case first try to conect using the internet APN and after you get no resposne from the server try with the Intranet APN. It should work. This was the problem in my case.

Exchange Authentication Failed

Hi guys,
I am trying to sync to 2 exchange accounts using the default mail client, but one of them is not working. It is complaining regarding authentication. The password I am using is correct but I am not having much luck.
I have tried some other email clients, it works with some and not with others.
Any ideas?
Hello. Same happened to me when I was trying to set up my company account.
Eventually I found out that there were some security checks on exchange server which were making my authentication failed. (Despite correct domain, username and password).
My company requires all employee's phones to be allowed on exchnage server in order to connect to it.
All I wanted is to have my calendar synced (no emails) and I managed to solve that by installing Google Calendar Sync on my comp. laptot (Syncing exchange calendar with gmail -> syncing with SGS2)
