Hello everyone,
LeoLeo and I are working on Chinese Version M2D now ,
My YouTube is working normal , but some people said the same file cannot play videos on their devices.
I took a little time and found out why they cannot play videos...
so.....made this file for all people use......
This is WWE version , other Language please change the MUI...
attachment pictures is 0404 version , not WWE version...
but it looks similer....

update:
still need the Dshow files at Rom...
but this may need cooker placed inside rom.

so i will try not to give a dumb answer.
wwe = world wide english
and CHT = i dont know but it should stand for chinese.

Thanks! The only WWE i know is wrestling. The YouTube file didn't work on my Sprint Touch
mm.....some videos can , but most videos cannot.....
maybe need more codec ..

which videos work so i can try ive got a tytn 2 original stock rom
Same thing with the herald I'm afraid, cannot play video.
I deleted my Dshow and Cook a new ROM , and all videos cannot play.
maybe Dshow is another key point , like other Thread said.
anyway ... this is my Dshow....
must put within cooking rom , cannot install by CABs.

search "tiida" and have a "Adv. Nissan Tiida" (00:34) can play within Dshow and my Youtube..
what if i just copied the PACKAGE diamond files to the right places ?
GSFinder+ can force switching the files.

No go on Touch Elfin, still can not play video.
Do you have by any chance this file: HTCDShowMode.dll
I hope that file will fix the problem, but i first need to find/get it.
I have a mogul ppc6800 WM6 and try to open the TCPMP and crash error come on .

I got that same problem... I need tcpmp!! It worked fine on the nexvision rom now I went to JD to get Manilla but I can get it to work... I downloaded several versions and all of them give crash errors

Are you running WM 6.1? There is a re-compiled version specific for WM6.1

Try that. I could'nt get TCPMP to run on my device either with 6.1 (TELUS Stock rom). From what I read they just had to recompile it or something *shrug* either way the above one works for me and is what I am running.

Does any 1 have that chess vga game version for the diamond in a cab maybe ?
I've seen it cooked into a few recent diamond roms, but I can't seem to find a cab of it anywhere in the board/ archives/ searching etc...

downloads a 242k cab, but when i put it on diamond just says, installation of chess was unsuccessful every time tried a few times & same every time here m8
any ideas maybe its corrupted or something ?

I figured that would happen. I am in the midst of cooking and don't have a rom on my diamond to test, so I couldn't verify before I replied with the link.
I just downloaded the exe, which ran successfully and deposited a cab on my phone. That cab was also 242k, installed successfully, but also gave me the error ... probably because I don't have dot net framework installed.
let me do that and get back to you.

I used to have a vogue and when I switched to a VGA device, I went out and got the VGA cab of Chess, but didn't have a chance to use it.

I was messing about with sys/xip of 20924 & 20931 ... just to be sure, I flashed my stock sprint rom 19965 and the vga cab installs and the chess application works fine.
So, this may be something with later versions of WM6.1 ??

Just flashed a fellow cooks 20940 rom and installed the chess cab (VGA) and it ran perfectly fine.

well that cab i downloaded a few times & copied it to the diamond internal storage & to its device area, on all attemps to install it always gives that same message "installation of chess was unsuccessful", im using rom : TIR V9.1 WWE.
I cant really see it being a rom issue but you never know, only way we'll know is if any1 else can help out then with a vga chess cab for me

Pocket Grandmaster and Pocket Fritz run fine but not freeware
I'd prefer freeware.

This file is damaged, that's why you can't install it.
Download the app from aruppenthal, it contains chess, + a lot of other arcade games. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=464758
You can use old chess for PPC, working great on my Diamond:

if you check the rom development, one of the rom threads, i cnt remember which one, it has some optional exta cabs, one of them is called games for windows that has chess and solatare n everything lol

5 bumps without so much as even a search! I just searched google for h264.cab, ac3.arm.cab, and FlashvideoBundle 1.4.4. Every single cab file showed up first link. Does anyone even know how to search anymore?
It doest work, why dont you just try to use the build in youtube app that was posted here? The desktop youtube only works with some video because newer video were encode differently and it doesnt support flash 3.1 and to me it looks like Sh!t anyway. Just use the youtube application.

I do apologise, i did search however unlike you state the first link is not always a good one, many of the links were invalid. I have now downloaded the files and follwed the instuctions and it works through IE but not opera so im sticking with the youtube player which seems to work relatively well.

Yes, you can. I still didnt found a way to use it on opera or IE, but its working flawlessly on all my apps.
OK, first incompatibility:
I installed WM6.5 on my BA and FEwidgetslite bombs out. Works fine with the OPAL version of 3.1.
Not sure how fewidgets work, but if its similar to throttlehtml it should be as simple as editing the html file it reads to have this code.
(Change the name TESTE and the size 550x400...)

OTOH, I installed this one and installed the old version of FEwidgets (which needed FP7) and it works GREAT!!

Sorry but I didn'tt understand what I have to change the name to and where it should go. Also, why 550X400, the BA is standard QVGA 320X240?
No, I exported that html code from Flash CS4, its the standart code to read flash lite 3 (not sure youll need all that, maybe just the OBJECT area).
You'll "just" need to change all that has the name TESTE.swf to (not sure whats the name you need) FEwidget.swf(?) with the fewidget size 240x295(?) instead of the 550x400 that my html had.

hi, inspecting the CAB I could not find a COM control on any of the dlls, do you know if this release has the ActiveX necesary for IE/opera? or is it just the player?

Hi all
According to the Adobe website this distributable packages is in fact a stand alone player, not a web browser plugin. Can anybody confirm this? I can't get it to work with Opera the way the previous versions did.

The player posted in this thread does not work when you tap the .exe located in \Storage Card\program files\Adobe\FlashLite. You have to use a program to associate .swf with the .exe, then it will open, however from what I've tried so far..everything has been very slow..
I'm disappointed because there is no zoom feature, or quality toggle..there are less options than the previous flash lites.

The Adobe Mobile Packager is also available on this page http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/distributableplayer.html so you can take the .swf and package it yourself to run in Flash Lite 3.1 ...

I really didnt liked that swf>exe builder...

thanks twolf, it worked!, well, compiling it did, but flash 3.1 did not know how to handle the .swf. it says "Error: ActionScript Stuck"
Atleast I can try with other flash games and movies.
I check out the other flash packager as well.
