NOTE-1 It is still under development. Please follow the orjinal thread.
NOTE-2 Although at some HTC Diamond, it was reported that with some small bugs, it is working. But for me with Official ROM Ver 1.35 NOT WORKED
Without any problem, I was able to install. But after then, When I try to start to program from "Programs / Multimedia/ Footprint" I get the following error message
"The file 'HTCFootprint.exe' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file."
NOTE-3 If you have enough space at your STORAGE, you can try and see if it works for you. Do not worry, UNINSTALL is working perfect, At least works for me
But please do not forget that **INSTALL AT YOUR OWN RISK, AS STATED BELOW IT HAS BUGS STILL**

HTC Footprints From Touch Cruise??

I stumbled across this video on the touch cruise and saw this cool feature which lets you tag locations via gps, with included text, picture, and audio note. I thought it was interesting and since i havent seen this feature here id ask if it was in the works of dumping and porting.

Feb. 2ND) HTC Footprint CAB - WORKS WITH TF3D
*SEE POST #2 FOR UPDATES & FIXES*
This version of Footprint is based on.......HTC_Footprint_1.01822.3925 (This is the 2D Manilla version, but will work with TF3D)
I have done some modifications to make this work on my Fuze, but it should work just fine on the Touch Pro, or Diamond. Currently this version does NOT have the "Footprint Tab" on the home screen. I don't have lots of time on my hands so bear with me on updates. If anyone wishes to step in and modify it more, its all yours.

download, rename to ****.cab, move to your phone and install.
doesnt work on diam100 with udk 2.3 rom "cetificate...trustetd......"

ah thanx i tried it this way...tried installing on the internal storage but this won't work.
on programme memory isn't enough space, so i'll try later

Latest build of Manila 2D that works on BA?

I've had a nosey around and can't seem to find the answer.
I am currently running xplodes R6.1 ROM and a Manila 2D build 1.00.1911.1733 which works fine.
I tried using the latest herg62123_2DManila_1_20_19131530_00.cab but Manila will not launch even on a bare install BA.
Is the build I'm currently using the latest that will function on the BA?

Post the link to latest version here please. I'll check what's possible to do with that.

well you need patched executable in order to make it work on BA i have no much free time to make it but i thing cracing already made patched executables which should work, but i have to tryed it yet, if i have at least a day time i will make BA community happy again

The version done by Cracing DOES work, that's the one I've been using for months now.

I had to use the patch for older devices which works fine.
"UPDATE: cracing from xda gave me the patched files for OLDER/NON HTC DEVICES and it can be downloaded from here: DOWNLOAD"
You have to copy the file to the Windows directory.

I'm using stparks' patched cab of v1.00 1911.1733 and all work fine on my vWM6.5 v7.1 BA.
But, I cannot find the setting for the Today display of the big 'flip style' digital clock. Is there a way to do this?

since the HTC mega OEM is out could some one over here make a rom for elfin with all the packages like the new album,,,audio manager and manila 2.0.... it would be great na....unfortunately i have no cooking skills.... so lookin forward to a new rom with the mega OEM.....

Manila 2D 2.0 looks great, but it don't work on elfin.
I tested it on a few Onyx ROM's (different builds)
Enhanced notification work on one of build I've tested.

I was wondering the same...and um, most things do run on the ELFin, the ones that have "permission" problems, is a matter of install...total commander, move files, delete manila from you windows folder, etc.
The COOL thing would be to make 2 ROMS, yes, 2 : a "MEGA 6.1" and a "MEGA 6.5". And do a REAL TEST. See which is better in performance, battery life, and overall use.

It does work, I am using almost everything from htc mega on onyx beta 49
but yes manilla 2d alone uses up a lot of ram , my ram usage while running m2d is around 60%

i think onyx .. will upgrade his rom to mega package .. but only 6.1

1) Mega has wm 6.5
2) Dsixda has stopped cooking

i use the 6.5 manila rom on here, the new m2d works along with the comm manager, notification manager and phone canvas, still not got all the program on the dev thread working yet though
can't remember the cooks name
and if i heard right i think kwbr is playing around with the packages as far as i've heard,
some of the stuff may not work well on elfin as the mega will probably be a full 3g phone but hey who said that it can't be made to work

Well, this is what we can do.
We use all the packages from MEGA.
Except for M2D, we use the older version.
Well, bad circumstances force us into doing that.

Well I have been waiting for this ROM too..!!!
But even if this ROM is developed by anyone, its gonna eat a lot of RAM for working..!!!
But lets hope the "awesome cooks" on xda pull out somethin as always..!!!
& make things work..!!!

A MEGA 6.5 hopefully
btw currently using on onyx beta 49 almost all Mega cabs provided by whitealien and most of them are working but my elfin ram usage is around 57%(min) and takes a long time to boot..
NOW IT'S less than 40 MB
So definately a good fast elfin mega wm 6.5 rom is possible

same here onyx beta 49 with all mega cabs
but it even slows down other stuffs also...

i do hope onyx or someone else can do it..... the new M2d rom by vadyarik is awesome too.. infact i have that rom on my device and all the MEGA cabs work flawlessly even M2d 2.0 and memory is just 38mb...so i bet we can have a MEGA 6.5 for our elfins and a MEGA 6.1 for Elfs.....

onyx's name is dsixda and he won't cook any of the mega packages. he made that perfectly clear in the onyx thread along with the fact that he is no longer cooking for the elfin.
who out of all of us here can cook?
if so why not pull together and get a rom built up as a group?
make it even more rewarding if it works

I have installed wad 2.5, message2reg and mortscript 4.2 cab but than after I want to install your cab it says that installation was unsuccessful!!
I have tried than soft reset and installing again your cab again, but same error!

I had the same problem on the start ( check post 2 ).
It seems that its need wm6.5.
(Please correct me if wrong).
I have tried many roms with this (about 6) and only those with wm6.5 worked fine.

I am using wm6.5 benko's(mine ROM!!
Which version you use v1.0 , 1.5 Ultra Lite, Clean?
BTW any other skin I have tested is working!

I was using your 6.5.3 rom in full version ( i don't remember version).

Sorry but the problem comes from your rom, the .cab files works correctly.
Makes hard reset or change your Rom, my theme work on WM6.1 and WM6.5 without any problem:
My tests : Touch HD, Touch HD2, Diamond 2 and Diamond = work correctly

How it is going on with translating ?

Followed instructions perfectly, theme installed no problem, edited the text to english perfectly.
Great theme, enjoyed playing with it thanks!, but not practical for everyday use so back to WM6.5 for me

ROM Cooking

I have been looking around and getting prepared on building a new ROM, have got everything lined up and ready to go except for a way of testing the ROM.
Don't want to test it on my own device for the fear of bricking it. I have come across some people use an emulator, is there such a device for Opal,
Microsoft itself has 2 versions but none of those support 240x320 resolution.
A solution to this problem will be much appreciated.

There is absolutely no way to test ROMs build for opal on any kind of emulator or as such...
The only way to test is your phone.

1 - How can I put ezinput in my rom? I tryed to put the cab as a traditional porogram but it don't works....
2 - Where can I find manila 2D for developers? the .cab I usually install in wm doesn't work if cooked
3 - I installed one theme, but how can I use it by default?
4 - Where can I find usefull tweaks for cooking?

Lol, see my frnd if you want to cook roms you must have to test on your device only. So better stop searching alternative coz you won't get one. Plus you will often face bricking while cooking rom but u can fix it by flashing another rom... Though sometimes there might be a heavy damage too.
