Thanks I use a lot of rom parts from different rom the base rom was a viet rom and i think the dialer may be yours! Base rom habubi Some sonblack in there too

Odd, when it comes to the "Tap the screen to begin" when it first boots up it's not sensing me tapping the screen. I was looking forward to trying this ROM out.

Hi there friend i found out that it may be FTouchFlo that is the cause!! at screen setup, press soft reset 2-3 times and it will pass ok I am working on next rom at the momment but will remove FTouchFlo from startup MENU and rebuild rom and upload in a day or 2 lets wait and see If there are any other bugs so I can fix them at same time Thanks

Well, than you are lucky. The only reason why I decided to try your rom (i used exploude's 273) was that in your rom Office is absent.I use other soft and I do not need huge Office in ROM. So, I downloaded it yesterday, flashed and at least half an hour I tried to start it this or that way.Nothing. May be it was my bad luck or may be somthing else I dont know. But this is the true fact. So I downloaded BA_CE_OS_5.2.20275(Build_20275.1.3.3) on PDAVIET and now everything's fine. It's up to you to believe or not-I dont care friend.

Hi there I do believe you had a problem hence! comment about soft reset? and as i say I will fix the bug in a day or 2 and all will be OK

P.S. there's no dialer in landscape mode in the pdaviet rom

If you want to fix it, try resetting a couple of times, but you have to tap the screen immediately, especially on the "align screen". I did a couple of soft resets and it finally worked when i pressed the screen as soon as it loaded.

Probable Fix to UpToDate (Cab included)

Ok guys, I have been doing some research and finally did something... I think I just created a cab file that fixes the uptodate issue. Please try and report. I will be very happy if this got fixed once and for all.
Be warned that IE will not longer work after you install the cab, if you use opera, dont worry though.
install both cabs and soft reset. Then try your uptodate
Please report back. Good luck colleagues.

THanks for the files. I will try it out the next time i flash a rom. I am using edited miri rom now.

I´m very excited, just tried it in dutty´s 4.3 and it works, flashed miris 7.1 with 6.5 (with miris ie fix) and it worked., flashed Duttys leo r2 and it works!!!!. (it even works better with pie6 cause now, you can scroll tables and figures with your stylus)
I´ve been looking for the solution for a long time.
Tested with 6.1, 6.5, manila 2.1 and 2.5/6 worked every time..... just remember, no more ie.
hope us doctors at XDA will finally give this a rest and start flashing again.

It worked on my att fuze with Energy rom warhawk build 23016 and utd 17.1. Thanks a million. Maybe UTD can hire you to fix the problem that you already fixed. You da man!!

The Doc's cabs worked with pepid on HTC Fuze.
Wow! Have been stuck with energyrom 2.0 032209 on my htc fuze because that was last ROM on which my PEPID medical software would work with full function. Now PEPID is working pretty well with energyrom 3.0 genesis 090609 on the Fuze thanks to Doctorcete's cabs. AWESOME!!! Only problem is that I'm unable to scroll by dragging the text outside of the first screen. However, I can scroll via the scroll bar (a small quirk which I can live with). Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

For some reason it worked initially but then it stopped working. I have opera 9.5 included with rom and I also have 9.7b which I had as my default browser. I removed it as default browser and it seems to work by going to the agreement section, but when I hit "headings" I get the options to choose and after I choose lets say "dosage" then I get the black overlay screen and it freezes up. Sometimes I can hit back but i retry headings and it won't move. very strange because it worked right after the 2 b=cabs were installed.

Fix to UpToDate works in DX900

Excellent job! This fix also works in Acer/Eten DX900. My DX900 (with BM cooked ROM and SPD shell3, which support 2 sim card, One for private and the other for hospital work) is fully functional with programs of Handbase, UpToDate, and TT. Battery last 2 days with moderate usage and last 1 day in busy hospital work.
This will probably work in any other WM6.1 PDA.

Solution to have both UpToDate and IE 6
Hi,
This is my first post and hopefully it may be helpful.
I have created a nice solution in order to run both UpToDate and Internet Explorer 6.
What you will NOT need
1) You will not need Fix UpToDate by doctorcete.cab
2) You will not need to cook your own rom
What you will need
1) Fix IE.cab found in the 1st post by doctorcete
2) The files, which are attached at the end of this post.
Instructions
There are 2 different versions.
Version 1 - Best - If you use MortScript
1) Use the two .mscr files.
2) Each of those files contains a registry modification and after that it executes Uptodate or IE respectively.
Be careful: If you installed UpToDate in a different location than the default you should manually open and edit the file UpToDate.mscr and replace "\Program Files\UpToDate" with your installation pathway. (You can use Notepad to open the file)
3) You can use these files to launch the applications instead of the default shortcuts.
2nd version - If you do not use Mortscript
1) Use the 2 reg files
2) Before opening each application, run the corresponding .reg script
3) Files are universal independent on your installation location. Therefore no change is required.

Hello all,
I've been searching for a while, even in this forum, but dont find any solutions concerning these two issues:
1) how can i set the date long (dddd dd mm yy) in the today page? My Diamond 2 runs the original French rom, wm 6.5.
2) I ve found a lot of solutions on the Internet to add a town, but no one works, and most of the time i must hard reset the device. HTC Sense doesnt start again. Softs like Weather Database Editor for example make HTC Sense not working and doesnt even add the town i entered...
If someone knows the right way to do so, i would be grateful

I found this thread (particularly post 2) most helpful and got it working on WinMo 6.5 but it never worked on WinMo 6.1 for me

I confirm it works perfectly with both WM6.1 and WM6.5, just follow the instructions carefully..if you have any problem you can PM me, tell me the city you want to add and I'll make the manila file for you.

Thanks to both of you. I've already tried this method but it didnt work. As i said in my first post, each time i install "Weather Database Editor", it makes my HTC Sense unable to launch. I'll try one more time... but i almost sure i'll must hard-reset...

Lugano (CH) and Como (IT) ADDED
The easy way is to install the .cab I posted above and then manually add your cities using SQLLiteAdmin. If you have an italian ROM you can modify the manila file in previous post, you could edit the "Valence" line (if not interested in..) and any another city you're sure you're never go to .
I am being very brief because I assume you read the "official" instructions, if you have any problems,PM me
EDIT: Well, Since It's almost Xmas and I feel Santa Sualc, i modified the manila file for you, but remeber to install AddCityWeather.cab aswell!!(AGAIN: this file is certified to work in an italian ROM, if something goes wrong I will need you ORIGINAL manila file)
P.S: It's really stupid not to put those cities by default, ok they're not enormous cities like Tokio but they are regional Capitals in their respective countries..

Advanced config is an application that you have to download and install (google for it), then follow his instructions

First i will say thanks to all the developers.....especially...to M-Amine..was the first rom i flash..to pdaviet (no polaris at this time)....and also a big big thanks to PCARVALHO.....best rom i try..
The ground i made a rom is...i don´t need and want the new m2d with flip clock and no call history....Inside my rom pack....is a folder with m2d version 1-3.......so you can decide what version of m2d you want....
The rom is a good mix of old and new apps... ( with opera 10 beta 2)
Edit: CHome with bigger photo tab and Lock device to right softkey....and in rom folder is special stuff for CHome..
and a new 100% battery
UPDATE: EzInput 2.1 or 1.5 + fullscreenplayer fix for play videos in Album + added the old taskmanager (it´s needed to close apps correct)

For Sync problems with outlook
I think i have it..... Have try it about 10x and it work for me...
the steps:
1. Disable the pop up for usb to pc
2. Restart the phone
3. in Active Sync/Windows Mobile Device Center-->delete all Partnerships....
4. Open Outlook
5. Connect the phone to pc (USB)
6. wait a moment-->create a new partnership
7. check the box for contacts
8. Sync
9. maybe a restart
For me it work perfect....please test it and give me a report if it work or not...

If you have problems after flash my rom....restart....flash Orginal rom + hard reset if you see the calibration screen after that flash my rom also with a hard reset....after a complete boot a soft reset

a whole rom in italian or for me in german is very complicated...because all programs must be rewritten...Sorry but for now i must say no...don´t have the experience... i think a italien wm6.5 rom is in polaris upgading thread..

manila on WM6.1 TP2. How ?

Hello everyone !
I don't know if i'm right, but if not, pardon me and just tell me or move it
Other thing, sorry if there was a post about it, but I did lot of search, couldn't find it...
So, I'm runnig on WM6.1 on Touch pro 2 with htc stock french rom (actually the fastest rom for me...). It's the rom wich has the official memory fixe(the informations are just in case...)
I want to have manila 2.5 (or even 2.1, but can't find it in WVGA as cab file).
I found every cab on : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=746086 (in the bottom of the first post)
The problem is, if I install the 2.5 manila cab, every thing works (of course with the "IsWM6.5" value change) except for one most important thing...
Menus, text, everything which could be relatted (I think) with language isn't shown correctly. It displays me something like IDS_MENU_BLABLABLA .
How can I solve it ?
If you can tell me were to find a cab for sense 2.1 in WVGA it would be great too
I'm using a mac, so I can't make my own rom (for having sense+wm6.1 without htc messaging).

嗯，6.1的rom貌似带的都是2.1的马尼拉没看过 6.1带2.5的马尼拉
