I doesn't support anyway the poor voice quality of the Trinity, and I would like to change the receiver. I could test a lot of speakers, but did anyone test it ? What result ?
Thanks.

Hi Guys,
I was wondering if you could answer my questions, I have an XDA II with the latest O2 Rom, i also have a Nokia HS-4W bluetooth headset, i wanted to know if it was possible to be able to listen to mp3 or my tomtom Instructions through my bluetooth headset? I love my XDA II but i would love it even more if this was possible, i am suprised O2 didnt include this in their new ROM.
I would appreciate any advice or any URL's that show you can this can be done,
As always thanks in advanced
Kind Regards
nya
Hi,
I don't want to spoil your XDAII experience, but unfortunatley that is not possible... yet...
Huge steps have been made by several good and experienced users on this regard, but there's still a long way to go...
Please use the Search feature, because there are several places in this excelent forum that discuss this and similar issues...
Good luck!

Its the biggest disappointment with the xda 2, I thought I would be able to use bluetooth headset dialling, music etc but it seems it is beyond the capability of those that write the firmware/software to make this possible. I have no idea why this should be as many phones and pda's have this capability.
Thank you for your reply .... its ashame this is not possible...
with the right bluetooth stack it would be possible not in cd quality because of the speed of bluetooth but pretty good anyway
otherwise you could use something like this
http://www.ppcsg.com/forums/viewtop...t=iphono&sid=6d3d546329a09353b6817f1c28cdca86
do you know where i could get the right Bluetooth Stack from ?
with the headset i linked to you dont need a new bluetooth stack
i dont think the current vidcomm bluetooth stack support A2DP which is required for at least stereo sound
this upcomming stack looks like it will support it

Thanks for your help Rudegar, much appreciated.

Hello
I own an HTC tytn, and I want to do the following:
record a video from my car, with real-time GPS coordinates being printed at the bottom of the picture.
Can a combination of some GPS receiver and tytn do this ?
Thank you
The problem won't be the GPS receiver, but the camera software. The build-in software can't do that. And a third party software would have to support the TyTN camera.
You can record the video with the phones camera (note the time you start recording), and be running a GPS message recording software. then you can use a video editor software in your PC to spuerimpose the text (gps coordinates) in to the movie.
ok thanks -- I think I may just splash out on a video camera with built-in GPS (not cheap), unless the HTC device with built-in GPS (Artemis ?) somehow does it ...
Silly question, why do you want to do this?
Depending on your answer you may find www.mp3car.com an interesting place to vist.
I am working on a large building site, with structures only partially built.
I am trying to show the status of the project to clients by taking a film of the site as it is now, with exact GPS location shown at all times
I woulf then be able to relate exactly what is shown on the film to a modelisation of the fully completed project that we already have.

Fair enough, I saw the Car mentioned and thought you migt be trying to have a video black box in your car, a common idea and one that is being acheived by putting a PC in your car. Hence the link to www.mp3car.com.
I wish you luck in your seach.
For anyone who is interested i have a sony mw600 bluetooth headset which i have tried with different platforms on the HD2 with varying success.
However i now have wp7 mango installed and it works almost perfectly with the headset and is even showing the song titles.
Only issue i find is that sometimes when you use voice command it will call the number but not transfer the audio to the headset - but you can then transfer in call by just pressing the call button
mango seems to be running really well on the hd2 now.
many thanks to all the developers and everyone on this site
Hi redsufi!
In the matter of fact I am very interested that you have the MW600. Your timing also was perfect. I know it's a bit hassle but I wonder if you could help me with any of these things concerning the MW600?

Hello!
To those of you with the MW600 here, I have a couple questions to you:
1) Can you use this as a microphone only device for let's say Skype and other voice communication programs (Ventrilo etc)? Meaning you wouldn't have any earbuds/headset plugged in the MW600 but only use its built in bluetooth microphone and listen through other (wireless) headphones that are plugged straight into the PC?
In other words: does the MW600 work as a microphone without having anything plugged into it? Could someone please test that? I would love to have a wireless mic on my shirt somewhere.
2) How good is the range inside a normal house? Does a single wall block almost all of it or can you wander around many rooms?
3) It was somewhat covered here but would you recommend it for its microphone quality or are there better ones around?
4) I realize this isn't under the Galaxy Tab section, but has anyone tried this device with that? How was it?
Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi there
I dont really use skype as its not available with windows phone 7 yet but with normal voice calls you can use the microphone wihtout the headphones attached so don't see that it would be a problem.
The range i think is 10metres and its fine through walls only when you get to the limit it just cuts off -
i find the quality of the mic and with listening to music is great
regarding the galaxy tab dont have one of these so you could try googling it
its a sony product so usually would only have full suppport of all the features with another sony product but all the functions work fine with wp7 on hd2 as well as wm6.5 - there were some issues wiht various android and nodo builds.
Alright, sounds good. Those helped a ton, thank you very much for the information!
Enjoy your MW600. I will soon probably too.
Works great with the Galaxy tab

elMInStER.blackSideSeven.1.12.7401,
BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA-Build 7.0.7392.0 -V5 , to name a few.
