I have install the Vista Hide Battery 1.1 and it works fine.
But my question is why does the standard battery meter in wm6 still apear in the title bar.
How can i remove the standard wm battery meter, i dont need duplicates.
Sorry I can't remember it, but it's a registry edit. It's a common one so I little googling should be fine.

Hello All,
I found the treo battery meter on the Cheetah section (Thanks to Vijay555). The .exe runs, and places the battery icon on the right place, but it does not change with time, it displays the startup level even when charging etc.
Can someone repack it or give me a .cab that i can use fully? Thanks
Don't bother with it. The guys hacked the existing Hermes battery meter to be significantly more useful. Look up the "green" battery meter and you'll find skins etc.

I have the different versions of the green battery meter, but it has several issues on the HERMES:
1. It changes the UMTS/3G icon to "E"
2. I cant have the Green Battery and the Clock on the title bar at the same time.
Plus I prefer having the volume icon covered.
Do you have any ideas as to why its not reflecting/collecting battery info in real time?
The Battery meter dll is part of Palms ROM and I havent been able to copy it out.
Thanks in advance.
ALternatively,
Does anyone know what the battery meter application is in the attached image?

In the official WM5 ROM from I-Mate the battery icon is shown on the title bar and clock is hidden beneath it. Is there a way to bring it down to systray and make the clock visible? Please help.
download Batti v2.1 from http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/batti.shtml and install it on your universal. In the settings for the app, uncheck "Show Battery Icon in Top Bar". That will display the clock in the top bar!
download Battery Watch v1.03 from http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/batterywatch.shtml and install it on your universal to get the battery icon on your systray!
They're both freeware, so, enjoy!!
I found the answer to the part of my question at http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Universal_Registry about adding battery icon to systray and I would like similar procedure for its removal from title bar. Thanks for your help I will be certainly using your addon untill I get my desired answer. Thanks a lot once again.
I would recommend having Batti as a must-have application if you like battery stats! The rest is up to you of course, i always prefer moderate-functionality apps to messing with the registry myself! They're small, easier to handle, removable and just provide more functionality that reg-editting!!
I used Batti but it didn't removed battery icon. What happens is that when app installs it is already configured not to show battery icon but the icon shows so I enabled it just to give a try and as a result two icons were shown then I unchecked it and only the new icon went away. The original icon remained there. Registery hack is a must!!!
weird, now i'm wondering how i got rid of the battery icon I'll let you know if i figure that out
That's really very nice !!!!! Figure it out soon please !
Still awaiting response. Please somebody help me soon.
Does anyone know how to remove the small 4 segment battery icon from the lower tray in the today screen. I don't really see the point in it existing with the one in the upper taskbar being there already.
I've already checked for running tasks, as well as startup programs for a program which may be creating the icon, but I can't seem to find anything suspicious. I think it must be part of a hidden process which I can't seem to find.
I have searched the SEX1 forums extensively and not founf anything relating to the icon in question. I can try and take screenshots if anyone is unsure about the specific icon I am talking about.
For reference, i'm currently using Norti's excellent "nX1i v1.04" rom.
Thanks in advance for any responses/solutions you may have.
It is there so that if you have the clock displayed at all times in the title bar, there still is a battery indicator (By displaying the clock in titlebar you lose the battery icon). Anyway here's how to remove it: Get yourself a registry editor and set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\Power\ShowIcondword to 0. Then Softreset. The icon will be gone IF it's this one. Of course it is possible that on your ROM there is another software installed which produces the icon, but I don't guess that.

Yay, finally gone!
Thanks for that, it's always the simple things you forget to do, like searching the registry. Now that i've got the panels button mapped to the start menu too, this may well be my favourite device yet. I think I may like it even more than my HTC Diamond...

Hello.
I use battery icon from your post czdjj. Everything was ok, pin pad on startup too
When i wanted to change all taskbar icons i was searched a forum and found this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=522080
Installed first sdkcert.cab
Second installed Varient 1 v2 ~ Touch2 ~ Download and when i restarted the phone my pin pad looked:
http://serwer000.no-ip.org/wojtek/pinpad.bmp
When i installed Varient 1 v2 ~ Touch2 (BlackStone PinPad) ~ Download keyboard remains the same as the link at the top...
What should i do want my pin pad was like at the beginning??
Why does not operate normally when the taskbar icons are for Touch 2??
ps. sorry for my english
I'm using the taskbar from this topic.
You can download it from here , then go to /Arthemus QVGA TaskBar /Build 23028 or Newer/Arthemus TaskBar QVGA V5_HTC.cab file.
I think it's for another resolution (VGA or WVGA), not for Touch2 (QVGA) - Icons are same just a little bigger.
Go to menu - remove programs and uninstall it, then it will be OK and search iconpack for QVGA, f.e. in HTC Elf (Touch) section
Don't worry, my EN it's terrible too
Battery display in % with time
Hi,
With the attached .cab file, it will show battery in xx% (on battery) or xx~ while on AC along with current time. It works fine on touch 2.

I tried the attach you posted here, but the display was not good enought. It shows two lines, one is % of battery left and another is the time. I don't know why.

Hello! As I see, you work with battery icon very well!
Maybe you know how I can totally hide the battery icon from the WM taskbar for freeing space? I use another battery charge indicator.
All methods that I find for WM5&6 don't work on WM 6.5.3+. Please tell me what I can try more for hide it.

What you could use is Battclock (any version) to put something else than battery indicator on that place like cpu/memory/date/free ram/temp etc.....or you can make it totally black with battclock (it's there but not visible) or perhaps install a custom taskbar without battery when you can find (did not search).
Succes

I need hide it for move other left icons to right and free more space. I very astonish that MS remove this feature from WM 6.5 because I use it in WM 6.0 and earlier.

Thank's! I'll try to find something else that create a custom taskbar. Now I use IndiBar that adds open programs icons and battery icon 'eat' space for eat
I installed "QuickMenu 2.8" in my PDA, but the battery icon overlaps to the clock on the taskbar. How can I shift the icon (clock or battery, or another)?
Tnx everybody!
Do not know how your taskbar looks like......What I use is Battclock......http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=612083 .....which displays battery and clock above each other but various customizable options are possible. Basically it can cover current icons to give a better look.
Yes you can change position of icons via registry.....see attached example under 4.2 location http://touchlockpro.sourceforge.net/BSettings.html#4.10 ...but I warn you it is quite some manual work......
But you don't knows were could I found the registry value of the wm6.5 tasbar icon? becouse i don't wanna intall the taskbar program raccomanded by you.
Apart from the link I sent you I have not an overview of where to find registry for all other icons you want to move. Did it myself for the battery only.....
But your battery icon was installed by your program...isn't it? If I'll Know where is the value of my icon battery about "Quick Menu" Program, I've resolved my problem!
See if you have in registry HKCU\software\quickmenu. And than you have to find an X or Y indication for position of battery icon......play around with these values to see if it works. Note: soft reset after every change.....
I tried it...the key exists but inside there's nothing that calls to mind the X or Y Icon battery value....sigh!
